I would like to start the review with saying the salesman was amazing. I think I asked the poor guy about 1,000 questions and he handled them all without complaint. He was wonderful to work with. I had my house resided due to storm damage. the old siding was unable to be matched and therefore I ha to replace the siding on the whole house. The sales man worked hard to make sure I was getting the best value for my money and that I was able to get exactly what I wanted. Once the contract was signed, thing went downhill very quickly. I signed the contract at the end of April. I was scheduled to have the project manager come out the following week so he could remeasure and make sure everything was set. It had been raining all day that day, but he waited for an hour before he was supposed to be there to cancel. His excuse was that he can't write when its raining. He informed me that the office person in charge of my project would contact me to reschedule. A week went by and nothing. I called her, to which it took about 3 days and 2 more calls before I finally poke to her. She had a hard time working with me to schedule a time around my work schedule. She jut scheduled a time that I did not want. After explaining that It is not past my time for my check to be refunded and i still can't get my remeasure in, I was very unhappy. She told me she would work me into another gentleman's schedule as she had found out that the Project Manager never told her that he had cancelled. I was able to move past that, since it wasn't her fault. We figured out a time and a new Project Manager came out. The remeasure was done and i was told it would be 4-6 weeks. After 5 weeks, I called to find out what was going on. She told me they were behind and that it would be a few more weeks. At the start of 4 weeks, Arnold's should have been on the phone with me keeping me updated. At the middle of June, I received a phone call and told that they would be there on July 5th to start the project. It is also important to note that I have several animals that needed to stay somewhere else during the work because of their reactions to loud noises. Being told that work would start July 5th, they were moved out on July 1, 2017 in order to get squinted with their new temporary housing. On July 5th, at 6:30 in the morning, I received an email from the office saying that the contractors would not be there to start the project. The unexpected holiday, July 4th, put them behind. You mean to tell me that NOT ONE PERSON knew July 4th, was coming up? I received a call the following week that they would start on July 14th. In the meantime, my electrician did not show up and I needed Arnold's to quickly hire an electrician to move a few things. Once the contractors arrived and saw what they electrician did, they informed he didn't eve complete the job appropriately and fixed it correctly. There was a waste of $300. It is also worth note the electrician was told something differently than what I had requested, a lie told by the office, and was also extremely rude. Ok, back to the siding. The supplies were delivered on July 13, 2017. It was a rainy day and the delivery driver left all the caulk out in the rain, which ruined the entire case. Once the crew showed up they went through the supplies and more than half of the supplies were missing, including the extra thick insulation that I upgraded. Once they called the office, they were informed that the insulation would not arrive until the next week. THE NEXT WEEK. This was unacceptable so I called the office. I was informed it was out of Arnold's control. After further inspection of the supplies, they had not been ordered until about 3 days prior. So there comes out the first lie regarding the project. After quite a bit back and forth with Arnold's office staff about the missing materials, they assured me they would have something delivered the following day so they can get started on the project and then the rest would be delivered. The new stuff was delivered, and did not fit. The delivery company was contacted and they attempted to deliver 3 more types of insulation. It took a total of 4 deliveries for them to actually get the correct insulation and the new project manager to drive over to the warehouse and walk it himself with a piece of siding to find the correct materials. Once located, they informed him it would take at least 1 week for it to arrive to Toledo. He sent someone from Arnold's (This is where things start to go uphill) to go pick it up from southern Ohio and deliver back to my house. The installation crew was amazing. They were so kind and were so incredibly helpful. While it took awhile, the project was done and the installers did absolutely beautiful work. I am so impressed by the INSTALLERS. Afterwards, it was a fight to get the office to finish the paperwork that was needed by my insurance and mortgage company. Once I paid, It was a fight to get a paid receipt even and it took a threat of having to cancel the check that I had just handed over for them to get me paid receipts. I would not recommend Arnold's as the hassle to get the work done was not worth it, at all! Am I happy with how beautiful the house turned out? Absolutely. Would i ever go through them again? NO WAY!
