andOne of our laundry shutoff valves was frozen - could not get the old hose off the cold water connection.  Suggestions (found on the web) to free it did not work.  Found Ace on Angie's List and emailed them on November 6 and called them on the 7th.  Received a return phone call around noon on the 7th, and they (a two-man crew) were here 20 minutes later.  Gave an estimate on the spot (sounded like a typical problem they had handled many times before), then went to work. Replaced the laundry box, including two new shutoff valves and new copper connections.  They connected everything up, swept up the minor mess from cutting the wallboard, turned the water back on, gave us 10% off because we used Angie's List, and we were back in business.
We were very happy with the results.

Josh answered the phone promptly when we called and he set up an appointment for us for the next day.

They usually have one man per truck but one of the trucks was being serviced that day so Jason and Nate came out on the same truck.

Jason called ahead to let us know he was coming and they arrived right on time.

The service from start to finish was prompt, friendly, professional, reliable, helpful, reasonable, honest, fast and clean. 

We received a free estimate before any work was done along with a free estimate for some possible future work.

We received honest helpful advice and they did great work and pointed out a few minor problems we had and took care of them for us.

It would be hard to imagine better all around service than we received from Ace Plumbing.

I have used Ace before for other plumbing problems so when we started having problems with our master bathroom toilet I called Ace to get information about having a toilet replaced. Josh Barfield returned my call quickly, explained my options, and prices.I scheduled an appointment for the installation. The day of the appointment the plumber that was assigned my job called 30 minutes ahead as promised, and arrived on time. He was friendly, curtious, and professional. He installed the new toilet, removed and hauled away the old, and cleaned up after himself very well. I was very happy.
I plan to have them replace our other toilet in the near future.
 I recommend Ace very highly.

Ace did a great job on our plumbing project. They were thorough, professional, and cleaned up the mess. The gas meter broke when the service man was shutting off gas for the water heater. The plumber stayed while the gas company came and replaced the meter with no extra hourly charges.

Nate came out and found the gas leak according to gas companies instructions which were to leave valves to the appliances closed. He came out and installed a new gas line. He had Jason help him. As soon as Jason showed up, Jason claimed that I needed a new hot water tank . He had torn the wrap that was on my hot water tank. Nate came out and replaced the wrap on the water heater after complaining. The next day, the gas company came out and said I still had a leak. Nate came back out and checked the meter with the valves opened to the appliances like the second gas company guy said. He found the leak on the gas fireplace and disconnected it. He said the meter was holding with no leaks. It had been 45 mins. Then Jason came and claimed their was a leak and that the water heater and gas dryer needed to be replaced. The next day the gas company came out and restored service because there was no leaks. Don't trust anything Jason says. The owner said the following week he would come out to look at the job. It has been two and half weeks and I haven't heard from the owner.

They arrived on time and immediately set to work.  Both workmen were very friendly and professional.  They completed the entire job in approximately eight hours.  The owner and a workman came back the next day to fix a few problems and make sure we were happy.

Ace Plumbing did a great job installing my water heater.  I called 2 other local plumbing service providers for quotes to install a new water (purchase and install).  One quote was $1084 and the other $1196....that was price purchasing a new Bradford White through the plumbing service with install.  I asked how much it would be to purchase only and I would install myself since I have pipefitting experience.  I was quoted $629 for the water heater only.  I did some research and found I could purchase the water heater at Maumee Supply in Perrysburg for $447.  I decided to do more plumber research since I felt the others were unreasonable with their prices and found Ace Plumbing had several "A" reviews.  I called, left a voice message with information and Josh returned my call promptly.  He was very friendly and professional.  I explained what I needed, he asked a few questions and quoted $300 on phone for install as long as I didn't need an expansion tank (needed for homes with backflow preventer installed at city water inlet) or any other unforeseen items.  Two plumbers arrived on the date and time I requested.  Both were professional and friendly as well. They completed the installation quicker than I thought it would take.  I was impressed with their quality of work. After the work was complete I had a few questions about city water back up sump pumps.  When I plan to have it installed I will definitely call Ace first.  I was happy to have saved over $300 doing a little research.  I had a great experience with Ace Plumbing and would definitely recommend them.  

The guy that came out was great. They were in and out without a mess or fuss. They had good reviews on Angie’s List which is why I chose them.

I'd started to replace the faucet set myself, but when I tried to turn off the shut-off valves under the sink one would not close all the way, and the cold would. The act of closing the cold, however, released sediment that blocked up the faucet valve so now I had no cold water. Furthermore, the supply lines are copper -- which I don't do -- so a simple replacement job became a semi-emergency.
I emailed Ace the night before, and the next day Nathan and Jason were able to come out ahead of schedule. Now, to be clear, we had the faucet set already in-hand, and the cabinet under the sink was cleared out and cleaned. Nevertheless, these two guys went right to work as if they were an Indy pit crew! They shut off the main supply, drained the system, replaced the shut-off valves, installed the new faucet set, tested everything, and cleaned up all in about a half hour.  It would have taken me half a day and three trips to the hardware store to do it myself. I truly was impressed with their speed, quality of work, cleanliness, and professionalism. I absolutely will call Ace again when the need arises, and I strongly recommend them to others.

The name of the plumbing company that he referred us to was Able Master Sewer and Cleaning 419-893-1325 or 419-475-6955. The owner and operator's name of the company is Fred Brueshaber.  Fred was at our home within the hour and was able to determine that the clog was underground and was the responsibility of the manufactured home park in which we live.  Fred could have very easily said that  it was clogged with in our home's pipes and charged us for cleaning the pipes under our home and from our home through the sewer system to get it cleaned our and working and charged us accordingly, but being an HONEST business man (which is VERY rare) he did not and only charged us $65 for the service call.  MUCH less that what he could have!  I recommend both of these plumbing companies because of the integrity and honesty of there services.

It went great!  Josh himself came out, just for the sump pump, but while here, gladly repaired the kitchen sink and bathtub.  He was professional, pleasant and great to work with!

Josh called ahead of time to let me know he was on his way which I appreciated. When he arrived he introduced himself and shook my hand. He looked over the issues in my bathroom once more and we discussed where I could find the fixtures I was looking for.  Once all that was discussed he began work on installing my new garbage disposal.  The appointment took about 1 1/2 hours to complete.  While Josh was working we chatted.  He seems to be a very professional ,knowledgeable and kind individual. We discussed some of the other projects I have planned for my home and he provided me with recommendations.  He also showed me how to correct small issues should they occur with my new disposal in the future.  When he was finished with his work he cleaned up after  himself.  I will be utilizing their services again in the future!

I was referred to ACE by the contractor who installed a new furnace in our basement (Action Heating and AC).  The owner, Josh, called me after Action Heating let him know I was interested in a new sump pump.  Josh stopped out to our home the same day to take a look at our existing pump and give us an estimate on a new one. 
Josh immediately knew what was wrong with our existing pump and recommended the best way to go about doing the backup pump we wanted installed.   The next day, he and two of his employees came out, installed the new pump, and the backup (which required running some new pipes).  It only took them a short amount of time and they were finished.  They did quality work and were very helpful with explaining on how to use it and what to do and not do should we ever need to use it.
Unrelated to the installation of the sump pump, Josh also helped me to re-light my gas water heater, which had gone out when our new furnace was installed the day before.  He was very helpful about this and even went through known problems with the type of water heater my home has.  He was very helpful with all of the questions I had and seemed very genuine.
I have dealt with several different plumbers in the past and have always been left with a bad taste in my mouth afterward. Not with ACE.  I definitely recommend using ACE Plumbing and I will definitely be using going forward in the future. 

I received a call within an hour of leaving a message on Angie's List. Ace sent a crew over the next morning. The water heater was replaced and a new primary/secondary sump pump system was installed a just a few hours. Thanks Ace!
