 + -1 moreI called Tim at Express around 10 am today and asked if he would have time today to balance and rotate my tires. He told me no problem and set a time for 1:00. When the car was on the lift, Tom, the mechanic told me that the driver side front wheel lugs were entirely too tight. They should have only been torqued to around 81 foot pounds and these were closer to two hundred foot pounds. The driver side front wheel was the only one that had over tight lugs. I was surprised that they were over tight because the last time the wheel was off occurred at Straub Hyundai (please see my reviews of Straub). Tom also informed me that this could have warped or bent the rotor. I have found that not only can this bend a rotor, it can also bend the rim, which I believe did happen. I give Tim and Express Auto and Tire high marks. They are professional, they provide a high quality service and respond quickly if you need to have something done in the near term.Thanks Express!

Description of Work: I took my business to Tim at Express to have four tires installed. Tim and his mechanic did an outstanding job of removing four tires that were purchased new at a large regional tire store and replaced them with four tires that I sourced from an internet retailer. I replaced the tires because I thought they were defective tires. I drove all summer on the internet tires and now that winter is here, I decided to take a chance with the original tires and had Tim install them for the winter. The tires are perfect. I guess the regional dealer did not install them correctly the first time. Tim at Express Tires does outstanding work and he will always get my business.
