Newman Roofing was outstanding. There is no reason for anyone to look at any other Roofing Company. From the original estimate to the completion of work everything was perfect. The Quality Control Manager, Chuck Pate, was here at 6:35 and remained the entire day which ended at around 2:30. He took GREAT CARE of us! The Crew worked extremely hard. The crew arrived on schedule and immediacy went to work , some constructing barriers to protect the landscaping, others setting up equipment and others starting the deconstruct. What I was so impressed with was the crew and their dedication to their work product. Then it became evident as to why they cared so much once I saw how the company treated them. With Newman Roofing they deliver a great work product in a very short time frame. Many companies can put a roof on a house but with Newman Roofing, it includes the small stuff like the beautiful flashing job around the chimney to the cleanup - in two weeks we've found only one nail and al flowers unharmed.

Let me preface this review with I usually do not write reviews. In the case of Newman Roofing I was so impressed I thought I should. From initial inspection to final installation the process was impressive. We did a lot of research and choose 3 roofing companies to start the process. The Newman estimator was thorough and made logical recommendations. There was neither pressure nor upselling. Once we selected Newman the communications with them was superior. On the day of installation the crew arrived on time and did a thorough job of site prep including complete protection of the flower beds. This job included new sheathing, new underlayment and shingling. They started at 7:00 AM and finished by 4:00 PM. If was obvious by their meticulous attention to detail that they take great pride in their work. The cleanup was phenomenal! While it may be a small detail the attention they paid to the chimney flashing was extraordinary. The effort resulted in the best appearance we have had in the 35 years we have lived here! One of the initial factors in selecting Newman was the impressive 25 years in business without a single BBB complaint. We would recommend Newman Roofing to anyone who wants quality work.

We highly recommend Newman. Of all the quotes we received theirs were the most thorough. They were on schedule, professional and took great care of our landscaping and paid attention to the details. In the end we have a beautiful roof at the quoted price. No surprises.

As with most projects, we did have a minor issue pop up and I'm glad it happened because it reinforced how customer-focused this Team truly is. As with any hammering, a track lighting fixture fell from our ceiling due to the vibration. Without hesitation, our Project Manager was focused on making it right. No debate, no finger pointing, no frustration. They allowed my wife and I to pick out our replacement and they quickly installed it, all before the roof job was complete. Excellence throughout. Great company. Was very impressed with their communication. Would text when they appointments were upcoming, text again when they were on their way. No 4 hour window like when you deal with cable companies. Once they began the job, someone walked me through what to expect. Kept my updated during the project and at the end walked me around and showed me pictures of what they did. I would definitely recommend Newman for your roofing needs.

Fast quality work, no hidden costs or fees. Honest professionals who really care about the work they do. Had my shingles and wood decking replaced, they showed up on time and finished the job in one day. My yard and driveway was left cleaner than when they arrived.

After another roofing company destroyed our roof during a "storm inspection", we settled on Newman roofing for our full replacement. While they were the highest quote we received, there was no question in hiring them. They were the most professional of the 3 quotes that we received and there was no doubt they would make sure everything would be done right. Because it was their busy time and spring rains, it did take about 6 weeks to get on the schedule. There were chances for afternoon storms the day of the install, so Newman rearranged some jobs to have additional help to get the job completed before the rains came in. They started at 7:15 in the morning and had the roof torn off and replaced by 3:30. They were super efficient and hard working! Everything was cleaned up and care was taken to make sure that the property was left exactly how they started. Highly recommended!

While we did not fit their services for what needed to be done to our chimney, Newman Roofing was incredibly professional from giving us texts to remind us of our appointment to an honest answer about the work needed to be done as well as an offer to contact them if we had any additional questions about other estimates we may get. It was above and beyond what was expected, and if we replace our entire roof in the future, we will definitely chose this company.

Newman replaced our roof on 5/12/2020. They completed the job in one day. The staff was just great and worked very hard. The foreman (Tyler Fifer) made sure we understood everything that was happening. If you need a roof or just need a repair of a roof I would highly recommend Newman Roofing.

Let me start this review by outing myself: I am one of the most particular people you’ll ever meet. I have exceedingly high expectations. I notice everything and I’m quick to point out work that fails to hit the mark. I’ve tackled a long list of home renovations, but the roof was the most daunting and worrisome since is the first line of defense for my home and I’m never going to set foot on my roof. Clearly, I needed a contractor that could be trusted to go the extra mile and not cut corners on work I’d never see up close. That said, Newman Roofing gets a double gold star from me. I'm delighted. The sales process, with Tim at the helm, was so easy. No B.S. No pressure. Very detailed materials designed to educate me and guide my decisionmaking. The sales kit was very complete – but of course I did my research, just to be sure. There was no exaggeration in Newman Roofing’s materials; my supplemental research confirmed that. Everyone I talked with gave Newman two thumbs up. Tim even made a second trip on to my roof out to examine it for damage after a competitor kept pushing me to file a storm damage claim. (I didn’t file, BTW). They weren’t the cheapest, but it felt like they were good fit for me. No sleepless nights – not even the night before they hit the roof. On installation day, collateral damage was now my concern. Two layers of shingles sat above my carefully landscaped yard and gardens. There’s little room to maneuver around my house, so I fully expected that I’d see damage after the work was complete. Alex, my site foreman, told me to relax – his crew of 13 would treat my home like it was their own. It wasn’t a line. They carefully protected my house and gardens before they started working. Demo was messy, but they were so respectful. I watched in amazement as they carried armloads of old shingles and buckets of debris carefully around to the dumpster. And when I stepped outside after the work was done, I was delighted. The roof was beautiful and, it appeared that Boy Scouts had been on the job: They had left no trace. They had even raked and blown the grass so it was as though they had never stepped on it. Every plant in my yard looked like it had before they arrived that morning. And they treated me with respect. Each time I came outside Alex was at my side explaining where they were in the process. He shared information about the condition of my roof decking, showed me photos from roof-level and offered to improve things they discovered. They reflashed my skylights with new trim kits (not in the estimate). They added an exterior vent for my powder room fan, only after thoroughly explaining how directing that heated household air out of the attic (code from when my house was built) would enhance the longevity of my roof. He also identified cedar sliding that needed to be replaced and explained that, to do it right, new flashing should be installed under those boards. He said they’d meet my contractor on site on his schedule to complete that work as part of the project. All I need to do is call. I paid for $240 for minimal plywood replacements as expected, but no additional up charges. Wow. The entire project was completed in one day. Alex emailed me photos of the process which documented each step from every angle for my records. And before he departed he reminded me that my roof was now their roof. That statement gives me peace of mind. I’ve got a capable partner that will return to my roof if there’s ever a problem – but my intuition tells me it was done right that day and Newman Roofing won’t need to return to fix a thing.

From the beginning they were very professional and informative. They showed up on time and got the job done in a day. Very pleased with the results. I would highly recommend them for roofing needs.

It went great. They installed during the COVID19 crisis and the Project Mgr insured that the crew always had their protective masks on. They completed the roof in one day which was surprising as they had to replace 69 sheets of roofing plywood, install 3 roof fan vents, and replace all of the soffit vents. The crew were efficient and cleaned up after themselves effectively. I was very pleased with the quality of the work and the professionalism of the crew.

Newman Roofing provided a very professional service from the time of the quote to the moment they pulled out of the driveway at completion of the project. Our roof looks amazing and we are very pleased with the work they did.
