We are very pleased with the whole experience! From the initial call until the final inspection, it all went better than expected. The crew was here before the scheduled time. They took care in making sure no damage was done to the foundation landscape. And cleanup was fantastic! Aaron was the onsite supervisor. He was very personable and answered any questions from my wife and I.

This is the second time I've used them. The first time they fixed a pretty significant leak in our garage and sealed the pipe boots on the roof. We had a lot of rain at the time and they were really backed up. Aaron tried to seal it until they could get out there at the scheduled time to fix it. It rain so much that the seal didn't hold. I called to see if they could come any sooner and they came out a week or so earlier than my appointment to fix it the next day. I was so appreciative that I went back to them for the drip edge. Our gutters were chronically leaking, no matter how many times I had them nailed in. Rain would just pour between the warped gutters and fascia board. The basement smelled musty, my windows had moss growing in them and I was worried the fascia boards would start rotting. I was very pleased with the estimate - about $600 less than a major competitor. Wilmer and his crew came and did the work on time and professionally. There was a miscalculation with the measurements, but they were out the next business day to finish the job and wouldn't invoice me until the job was complete. Alex was great, too. He offered to clean out my gutters (and a badly clogged downspout) and blew the leaves off the walkways. I couldn't be happier with the work and their customer care. They're my go-to guys.

Tim was quick to respond to our initial request for an estimate. He provided us with an outstanding packet of information on the products he would use and how the installation would proceed. This was important to me because there are now so many improvements in roofing and I wanted to be sure we had the necessary information to select the products and finishing touches that would enhance the appearance of our house and help protect our house from damage. The job was completed without any debris on our property and looks great. Many neighbors have commented to us how nice the house looks! The Newman staff was professional and worked steadily and got the job done in one day. Throughout the day other staff from Newman stopped by to check on the progress of the job and check that we were satisfied. This is our third roof in 30 years and this is the best service we have ever had. I will recommend Newman Roofing to my friends and family.

Tim newman called me himself for the quote (phone) and then came out himself for a better estimate...no high pressure..you can tell they are a quality company and your satisfaction is important... They emoved the old roofing shingles (cleaned gutters while up there), removed old fans and vents and replaced plywood. Replaced all flashings, added trim to all facias, installed 2 foot freeze barrior around all edges, installed 3000 sq ft. of underlayment (synthetic material, i couldn't tear it) dimensional shingles and a ridge vent...did an excellant job of covering up plant and shrubs and cleaning up after... The crew supervisor Aaron met with me several times during the day to give me updates on how they were proceeding..the job was completed in one day...he came back the next day and inspected the job and made sure i was happy with everything...so far no issue for followup required...roof is gauranteed for 50 years.... Super quality work...

Their salesman Eddie is knowledgable and punctual and he also got up on the roof to check measurements and gave us the most honest and easy to understand explanations of all the 5 estimates we got. Alex the job foreman-production specalist really was on the ball. He was a totally hands on kinda guy. I really really liked that! When Alex would occasionally have to leave his next in command Wilmar was so incredibly competant! I never felt for a moment that my wishes were not being understood. Wilmar understood English perfectly and was such a perfectionist at his craft. Very impressive! He will no doubt be a job forman as Newman Roofing continues to grow. The rest of the crew had a can do attitude and followed Wilmar's directions to the T. Alex returned the day after to walk me around the job recheck the grounds for any debris which there was NONE and answer any questions I might have? Estimate and Appraisal: What made Newman stand out from the competition here were two things: one, the man who came out to inspect the roof and attic, and give me the estimate was an actual foreman for a couple of teams of roofers. In other words, by July he has quite the tan and is very adept at getting up on roofs because he's done them for a living -- he's not a salesguy and gives it to you straight. (In my case, his name was Aaron.) Second, they wanted no money down. Now, it's not like I don't have the money to pay the guy, but the significance of this is, they believe that after the job is finished that I will want to pay them for a job well done, and that there won't be any issues (the risk is all on their side by requiring 0% down). Others tried to tell me they needed cash to buy materials, but any roofing company that doesn't have cashflow to buy materials for the next job probably shouldn't be in business. Third, they didn't argue with me about the gable vents. I've got a Ph.D. in physics and I understand how heat flow works, and I've seen the research done online and on YouTube. Don't let the roofer seal up your gable vents if you have them. Fourth, they didn't try to talk me into more expensive shingles. In fact, because my house doesn't really have a steep inclined roof, and you can't see most of it anyway, they recommended the least expensive shingles because they said I wouldn't notice much of the difference, and they're right. However, I still bought and paid for the 5-star warranty from the manufacturer, so I got a quality product just none of the extra fancy stuff I didn't need. Actual Installation: They crushed their initial time estimate of one full day by 50% -- they started at 7am and were done just after lunch. They did an ok job on the skylights -- one of them I'm going to have to do a little fancy trim work because they cut the drywall a bit too far -- but that is stated on the contract, so it's no surprise. They actually forgot initially to install the 8 new soffit vents, but came back and installed them immediately and apologized for not having that done. The team they used was very professional, left my house very clean, and swept up very well after themselves. I have a kid and a golden retriever, and if there were any nails or scraps around, one of them would have found them by now. I'm very happy with Tim Newman Roofing and I'd recommend using them to anyone in the Columbus, OH area.

I provided most of the details above. They worked hard all day despite very humid weather, with almost all of the work completed in a day and half. They explained to me the work they were going to do and approx. how long it would take. They were correct in all of their estimations and they did an excellent job on everything. I would definitely recommend them to everyone that is searching for an A-1 roofing company.

I called Newman for a competitive quote for a job pointed out by another contractor. Not only did Newman have a much better price, they were able to do the job on-the-spot. This was very important since we really had let it go a little too long and have busy schedules. It took about 20 minutes and he showed me a picture afterword so I could see the completed job.

Newman Roofing is the best contractor experience we have had in 35+ years of home ownership in several states. The existing "30 year roof" on our house failed after 15 years. Our request for a quote from Newman's was completed promptly, and while it was not the lowest bid, it was a very competitive price and we certainly received more than our money's worth. Their willingness to answer any and all questions, provide informed assistance in materials selection, and the professional and friendly conduct of all employees was refreshing and a tribute to the owner and his business. The quality of work and clean-up was exceptional. I wish every contractor conducted business the way Newman Roofing does!

ALEX FROM TIM NEWMAN ROOFING CAME OUT FOR THE INITIAL APPOINTMENT ON TIME. HE WALKED THE ROOF AND TOOK ACTUAL MEASUREMENTS, PICTURES, AND NOTED ITEMS THAT ALSO NEEDED REPLACED OR REPAIRED. OUR HOUSE IS 40 YEARS OLD AND NEEDED ROTTED PLYWOOD, SKYLIGHT, SHINGLES, GUTTERS, AND FACIA BOARD REPLACED. ALEX AND HIS CREW SHOWED UP EARLY FOR THE FIRST DAY OF WORK. ALEX AND NEWMAN ROOFING PROVIDED A COMPETITIVE QUOTE. ALEX'S EXPERTISE IN ROOFING WAS APPLIED TO MY ROOFING PROJECT. HE MADE SURE THAT ICE GUARD WAS TO BE USED IN A DOUBLE WIDTH WHERE NEEDED. HE MADE SUGGESTIONS THAT REDUCED THE COST OF THE REROOFING PROJECT SO THAT WE COULD ALSO HAVE OUR STORAGE SHED REROOFED, AND THE BOATHOUSE GUTTERS AND SMALL REPAIRS DONE. We are so pleased with the workmanship and the quality of our new roof provided by Tim Newman Roofing. Everything went exceptionally well from the first estimate given to us by Eddie to us deciding to contract with the company. The choosing of the style of shingle was made easy and the crew led by Aaron was also exceptional. They were very professional and worked almost 14 hours to almost complete the job. Aaron returned the next morning to complete a final check and take care of a couple of items that still needed to be finished. The roof looks fantastic! We are very pleased with Tim Newman Roofing and would recommend the company to others looking for replacing their roofs.

Honesty and integrity. These words best describe our experience with Newman's. You don't always find this with every roofing company but this company has both qualities and more. We obtained two quotes for the project and Newman's was $2000 less than their competitor. Even though their quote was less, we still received a top quality product and installation. Eddie, our estimator, was prompt and helpful through the whole process. We had some issues with leaks and Newman's went the extra mile to help us fix them. One of the leaks was coming from a window. Aaron, our project supervisor, not only found the source of the leak but sealed the window as well. He also found a solution for another non-roof related leak above our back door and fixed it. Aaron and his crew were on time and professional. I would highly recommend Newman's if you're looking for a reputable company who puts the best interest of it's customers first.

What stood out was their professionalism and their project manager. Their responsiveness and punctuality was really good.

I had 3 problem areas, the firsts a leaking gutter next to my chimney that was causing paint to peel. Also had a leaking corner seam and a diverter ripped off from snow and ice. They came out and diagnosed the issues properly. identified flashing on the chimney was not done properly and they took photos to show me the issue. They fixed it and it has not been leaking since. I will have to wait until spring rains but so far so good with winter melt. They fixed the leaking corner seam and replaced broken diverter. They did the work properly and honestly. Other companies had advised we needed new larger gutters to fix the issues which would have cost 5x more and still not solved the chimney issue! I will be calling them in the future for any roofing/gutter needs!

Roof was damaged in a wind storm a few weeks back, my insurance (State Farm) recommended Newman. Called them, they came out the next day, confirmed it needed replaced. They tarped the roof to prevent further damage (and delayed billing me for it until the insurance had their say, tarping ended up being $900, roof was $5200) while I worked to get my insurance out to look at it. When the insurance finally got out, Newman met with them and went over everything, they agreed on terms, and the next week replaced the entire roof in about 6 hours. They did a great job keeping everything clean (and cleaning up afterwards). I'd absolutely recommend them and use them again.

Newman Roofing did a wonderful and complete job first time out. They came out and gave a written estimate on the spot. They returned within a week to do the work once we choose them. They did a great job and left the site clean as they found it.

What I like was that he is very involved with the company. He does almost all the estimate himself. Everybody gets contact with the owner of the company.

Newman provided initial estimate for insurance claim, worked with my insurance company and then worked with me to reduce my cash outlay. All materials were top quality and all roofing work was completed in ONE day. The roof replaced was 20 yr old, three tab shingles; Newman used CertainTeed Dimensional shingles. They reviewed the roof work with me the next day and handled all three small issues identified quickly. Guttering was done by a subcontractor and also completed in one day. Newman did everything they had promised and more. Their crew was professional and respectful of my property. I highly recommend Newman Roofing.

Had a small leak in my roof and decided to have the whole roof replaced. Called Newman roofing because of their ratings on Angies List. Tim Newman checked the roof told me could fix the leak for around $150.00 and the existing roof was good for 2 or 3 more years. Informed him that I wanted the roof replaced. He sat down with me explained everything his company would do when replacing the shingles on the roof and what it would cost if any sheets of plywood had to be replaced. I would highly recommend Newman Roofing to anyone who needs their kind of work

I hired Newman Roofing to repair the work that another Contractor had botched up. They were very professional and did a fantastic job at reflashing my chimney. They identified some other problems with the roof and fixed those at no additional charge. Price was a bit higher than I would have liked, but we certainly got what we paid for. I'll be hiring Newman for all my roofing needs and I wish I would have used them in the first place.

We had two other estimates before we had Newman roofing come out. I feel the estimator that came out was the only one who correctly addressed the issue, was very competent, and gave me a fair estimate for repairing the work. He thought they were about two weeks out (which was fine given our circumstance), but found time to come out within a week to do the work. Workers who came out did an excellent job fixing the corner of where the Florida room meets my house and removing my old satellite dish and replacing shingles where needed. Newman Roofing will be my first call for all my roofing needs in the future.
