It was fantastic. It was perfect. They even re-roofed my dog house. I couldn't give them high enough marks.

Perfect. Super responsive to my questions. Text messages for ETA, and when they were leaving. Took one day to complete the whole roof and took time to remove all the debris and nails. Professional and easy to work with. I had a very good experience working with them.

Everything went great, roofers were punctual, friendly, professional and did a knock out job on my roof. They did a thorough cleanup of the debri and were careful not to disturb my landscaping. All the management and on site supervisors were very knowledgeable and courteous. and answered any and all questions I had asked. I highly recommend this roofer to anyone looking for roofing replacement or repair.

Had a very good experience. They are a little more expensive then a "fly by night' roofer. He may not be the cheapest but he gets the job done. Highly recommend them.

Excellent. There was one minor repair and several continuing maintenance actions accomplished. It was recommended that the roof would likely require replacement in about two years, which is consistent with my homeowner records. I will contact Newman Roofing to schedule roof replacement in 2019, which allows me to budget for the home improvement expense.

They told me that a replacement was not necessary. However, they did find that an animal had made a hole near our chimney. They repaired the hole by removing some shingles, installing a metal pan and then reshingling and sealing the area. I had hired a second roof company to review the roof just to be sure it did not need to be replaced. The second place agreed with Newman's assessment and also told me that the work Newman had done was completed properly.

I agreed to the quote and then I never heard back from them. I ended up using a different company and will not use them again. The salesman was nice and convincing. The were 1800 more then others. You click on line if you want to go thru with the bid, I did that and never heard back until two week after I had the roof done by someone else saying they were getting ready to order the supplies. There was no follow through and they said it was due to a new computer system.

They were referred to me by my insurance company. They do great quality work and are very responsive.

When I called them about the leaks, they came out in two days. Took half a day to complete repairs. They didn’t call before they arrived.

Newman Roofing did a great job. I had opportunity to speak with Tim, the owner, and with Jason who did the estimating and oversaw the work on my house. Jason was great to work with. Newman Roofing was very responsive and they used text messages and emails very effectively to keep me informed of the date of the work and the progress. Besides new shingles, we had Newman install ridge vents and remove the existing through the roof vents. Their workers covered the shrubs and trees with tarps while the were working and did a complete clean up when they were finished. They completed the work in one day. We were very pleased. We received estimates from three companies and Newman's was the lowest. I chose Newman on the basis of recommendations of my neighbors who had their roofs replaced by Newman Roofing.

From start to finish, the staff @ Newman Roofing was a true pleasure to work with. They are highly professional with a strong emphasis on providing excellent customer service. The job foreman for my roof replacement was Alex. Alex went above and beyond keeping me informed on the status of my job by providing pictures and updates. The roofing crew displayed care and attention to detail for their craftsmanship and my property. Every item which had to be moved was put back in it's place and not one piece of trash was left behind (amazing for the amount of replacement work which was done). If you are looking to hire a roofing contractor who will provide/install high quality products, keep you informed during all steps of your project and provide you with excellent customer service I HIGHLY recommend Newman Roofing for all your roofing needs!!

EXCELLENT. From the company representative's first visit, it was apparent that Newman Roofing was going to pay attention to all the details. This included all the exact materials to be used - underlayment, ice guards, flashing, shingles etc. Only downside was that I noticed afterward that in the attic, a lot of small roof debris fell through the spaces between the decking and littered the top of the existing insulation above the ceilings of rooms below. Don't know what to do about that but I'm in no shape to clean it out. If they had laid lightweight plastic tarps in the attics before scraping the old roof off, that mess could have easily been removed following installation.

This is by far the best company I've hired in a long time. Alex has come back several times for issues not even related to the install. Great customer service and communication.

As my original shingle roof aged, over a period of several years I investigated replacement options. I have a very large roof -- 110 squares -- and wanted an upscale look for the roof, as well as a durable, long lasting and reliable product. The home has extensive landscaping all the way around and multi-level decks in the back, so I wanted a company that would be careful not to damage my landscaping or decking during the job. I obtained quotes from several well-regarded roofing companies. Newman Roofing was actually identified to me as a high quality provider by one of its competitors. From the initial meeting with the company owner, Newman Roofing and its owner Tim Newman stood-out from even the other highly regarded local roofing companies. Prompt, to the point, knowledgeable -- with no pressure or upsell -- Tim Newman explained the options and the relevant considerations. A competitively priced quote with available warranty options was promptly provided. I communicated my desire for perfection in the finished product and for protection of my landscaping. While preparing me for the possibility that some landscaping could be disturbed given the scope of the project, Mr. Newman took note of my concerns and left me feeling that they would be fairly addressed. Over a period of several days, a large crew removed the old shingles, replaced some plywood where needed, replaced vents, installed new painted valleys, and installed new deigner shingles. Foreman Aaron kept me apprised of the schedule, progress, and any issues requiring decisions. I was satisfied with the attention to detail throughout. My landscaping and decking were not harmed, and the company even replaced a torn screen door on their own initiative -- although it was likely torn even before they did the roofing job. Aaron addressed any minor cosmetic issues I raised during the inspection process, and owner Tim Newman conducted a final inspection after the job was complete. The roof looks great, and several neighbors complemented the final product and mentioned the size and efficiency of the crew. My practice is to wait a while before submitting a review. On occasion, you can submit a review immediately after completion, only to have problems develop later. It has been 15 months since my new roof was installed, and I continue to be pleased by the quality of the product, the workmanship, and the appearance. I feel like I did a lot of due diligence and it paid-off by hiring the right company and ending-up with a great looking, well-installed roof at a competitive price. The shingles installed are high-end CertainTeed designer dimentional, uniquely shaped shingles, and several other quotes were $5,000-$10,000 higher for the same product. Overall, I have nothing but good things to say about Newman Roofing. Upon meeting the owner, it is easy to see that the culture, work ethic, customer satisfaction focus, and straight-forward business approach of this company comes from the top down. I checked the other angie's list reviews for Newman Roofing right before I wrote this review, and I was not at all surprised to see that 90% of the reviewers give the company an "A."

Amazing! When the supervisor saw how the crew was progressing, he contacted another crew in the area that had just completed a job and had them come over to augment the crew at our house. The job was more complex than anticipated - but they didn't miss a beat; supplemented the crew and got the job done on time. We will tell all of our friends/neighbors about Newman Roofing and how wonderful our experience was. Hire them again? YOU BET.

Showed up at around 6:30 am. Started on the roof around 7:00 am. Large crew. Very well organized! Supervisor and salesperson showed up to check on things to make sure all was going as planned. It looks beautiful! We are really impressed with the quality and the installation. They checked with a big magnetic lawn mower looking thing for any nails in the yard and checked the shrubs with these big magnets to make sure they collected any nails. All were very personable. They got the roof done quickly! I felt like it was a really quality job.

I have not had service done from this company, yet, but I wanted to immediately write a review for how well the estimate process was. I called to schedule an appointment and they came out in less than a day. I received a text message when they were on their way and after estimate was complete. Aaron made a genuine recommendation and also referred me to another contractor for work out of his scope; it was very clear he was not trying to push me into spending money if it wasn't necessary and advised me on what I would need to have done in the near term. I am appreciative of their honesty/recommendations/quick estimate process. Thanks!

It was an amazing operation. From start to finish, the crew was efficient, capable, and did quality work! The salesman, Eddie, was great in the early stages. He met with me to provide the quote. He answered all my questions and concerns and gave good advice. My wife and I initially picked a color for the shingles and Eddie pointed out that the color was not used very often because it would stand out as gaudy and loud. He recommended other colors and we are glad he did. The crew arrived on time at 7:30 am and finished by 4:30 pm. It was impressive watching the crew work. There was good coordination and teamwork. Everyone knew exactly what to do. No one stood around idle. Alex was there overseeing operations and he explained things to me as the work went on. Later, Jason came by to oversee operations and he was helpful as well. The crew worked hard and I could tell they cared about doing a good job. The crew set up very carefully to protect everything around our house. It was fascinating to see the delivery of the shingles and supplies. A big truck came that had a long conveyor belt arm so each bundle of shingles could be carried up to the roof by the conveyor belt instead of having the crew carry up the bundles. Very efficient saving time and the backs of the workers! The clean-up was also amazing. The crew cleaned up everything without a trace of debris. In fact, our yard looked better after they cleaned up than before they started. Overall, the price was right and the quality was top notch. The customer service all along the way from beginning to the end was wonderful thanks to Eddie, Alex, Jason, and the roofing crew! My wife and I are so glad we selected Newman Roofing to replace our roof. This is a really big decision so we wanted to get the best company to do the job and we believe that we did with Newman Roofing. After all was done, Alex came by to see me and to do a walk-thru with me. Once again, the attention to all the little details was impressive! Note to Tim Newman: You have a great team! Newman Roofing was extremely thorough in evaluating my questions and concerns before I contracted them to replace our roof. I had several concerns about the quality of flashing, and the manner it was to be applied in several areas (underneath stucco, against brick, in a dead valley, etc.) He took the time to inspect the flashing in each area, and make sure he could do it properly and to my satisfaction before writing anything up. He was extremely concerned about making sure the end product was going to be exactly what I wanted going so far as to install a couple shingles on the roof so I could confirm my color choice. I'm an engineer by trade (and extremely picky), and had a lot of concerns I wanted addressed with our old roof that had caused problems over the years. He was expertly able to address air flow and venting issues (and the vents look great, ridge vents), and there was not a single detail about his work that wasn't absolutely top notch. Every piece of flashing, every nail, every shingle and every other job he did was absolutely perfect. If you read the manufacturer's instructions for installation, he performed them perfectly. Read up on what makes a top quality roof perform, and then look at a Newman installed roof. There was not a single corner ;cut. I examined the quality of his materials (like flashing), and I challenge you to find anyone else who uses materials of that caliber without being specifically asked. His flashing was thicker than any other roof flashing I've seen used in the last several years. All of his roofers knew what they were doing and worked both hard, and without compromising quality. This roof was installed not quite a year ago, and I held off writing a review because I wanted to make sure everything performed as expected. Well, this summer, our attic has never been cooler. I was slightly concerned about the ridge vents and rain, but I have checked after each major rain storm and have had absolutely no leaks. We had a powered attic fan before, and all it did was suck all the conditioned (a/c or furnace) air out of the house when it was running. I'm glad we got rid of that and went with natural venting. The ridge/hip vent combined with checking / clearing all the soffit vents made a world of difference. In the last 5 years I've replaced 6 roofs on different homes I own or manage, and going forward Newman Roofing is the only company I'll have perform work for me. I can promise that you will find cheaper roofers out there (and they're all good at salesmanship), but I challenge anyone to find a more honest individual than Tim Newman and to find a company that installs a better roof.

It went very well, they pointed out the cause of problem we are having with a leak around the chimney. The flashing needs to be replaced to allow the water to flow away form the chimney and not get trapped under the shingles. We have scheduled to have the repair work done. They credited me a portion of the initial payment because we did not have the chimney flashing caulked since that was not going to solve the problem.

First of all, I would like to say that this is the third time that I've used Newman Roofing. I've learned my lesson having been through several other roofing contractors...some of which I fired before they finished the job. Having discovered a leak (that was caused by another contractor's shoddy work), I called Newman and spoke with the owner, Tim, to set up a time, only about a week later, for the repair. I told Tim I wouldn't be on-site, but have his technician call me. Aaron arrived promptly on time and called me. I described the problem and he took a look and called back with the estimate. I authorized the repair, which to replace the flashing and gasket at a plumbing penetration. I have complete trust in letting them do their work without supervision and it always turns out great (even though I'm hard to please). I'm happy to have found a great roofing contractor, because I'm no longer comfortable being that high on a steep slope. I tell all of my friends to call Newman Roofing and to my knowledge they've all been satisfied.

Every other company was wanting us to wait a week until and they came out right away and repaired my roof. I am very pleased with how it went with this company!

I called Newman roofing to locate & repair a leak in the roof of my house. Their response and service exceeded my expectations. They repaired the leak in a timely fashion and at a fair price. I found their work to be of high quality and at a fair price. I would definitely do business with Newman roofing again and would highly recommend them anyone.
