Newman Roofing

The repair estimate from Newman was done when they said it would be and I was given text updates to let me know what was going on. The estimate came through quickly and was explained in detail. The repair was done on schedule and I was kept updated throughout the process and when it was finished. I would call them again if I need something additional done to my roof, thanks to them for being so professional.

It went smooth. No problems. It was done in a day and the team and onsite supervisor were phenomienal. Was interesting to watch the process.

Fantastic! The staff at Newman are all very professional and competent. The job was completed in one day and my yard was free of all debris, including roofing nails. I had requested that Newman replace all of my plywood because I was afraid that it had been damaged. When the project manager inspected the roof after all of the shingles had been removed, he said that only eight sheets needed to be replaced. HIs honesty saved me $2,000. These folks are wonderful and I recommend them without qualification.

Steve came out to give me an estimate, and he was both very personable and professional. While he was on the roof, he took several photographs, which aided in my understanding of what would be needed. He gave me 3 different estimates, dependent on the shingle type/warranty. Steve told me there would be a job supervisor present throughout the roof installation, which I appreciated. When I decided to hire Newman, Steve told me to expect a call from Alex regarding scheduling. Once arranged, the job super (Nick) also called me. The super/workers arrived on time and were able to complete the roof, including a complete tear off, some repairs to the base wood, and new shingles/flashing in 1 1/2 days. When done, I had some concerns, and Tim Newman called me as soon as he was aware of them. The next day, the original job supervisor came out and addressed all of my issues to my satisfaction.

Newman Roofing performed a great job replacing our roof and we would highly recommend them. They provided a single point person for us to talk to throughout the process that understood our needs and project. During the quote process Newman provided much more detail about the products and materials that were going to be used, which allowed us to appreciate the quality of the product they use. They also gave a more thorough description of what they will do during the roof replacement, such as the prep work of putting down tarps to collect any debris from the installation and the post work of going over the yard with a magnet to pick up any nails that may have been missed. Overall we really liked the quality of the product and workmanship performed by Newman roofing.

We were very happy with the work they did on our home. They did a great job of cleaning up and got the job done in basically one day. We would definitely recommend them to our friends and family. At the beginning of the they sent out an estimator, Eddie, to give us a quote on the job and he did a really good job of explaining how everything would happen step by step. They also have provided a warranty on the roof and took care of all the permit and inspection paperwork

We are highly satisfied with the new roof on our home and the service we received. From beginning to end, throughout the entire process, every individual we met or spoke with was very professional, polite, honest, and patient with us. Our roof replacement was completed within one day. When we found stray nails, they sent someone back out, the same day as our phone call, to do a second sweep with a magnet to pick up any remaining debris that may have been missed. I would highly recommend using Newman Roofing if you are in need of a roof replacement.

During our initial meeting, the sales manager listened carefully to our concerns about the problems we were experiencing with our old roof. After inspecting our roof, he was able to show us pictures of our roof and clearly explained why we were experiencing those problems. He also explained how a new roof would resolve them. During the process of installing our roof, the crew was very professional, careful, efficient, and hard working. The production manager communicated often with us throughout the morning to keep us updated on their progress. It was evident that the folks at Newman roofing are very trustworthy, reliable and care about their customers. They worked hard to make sure our new roof was installed properly according to their quality standards and that we were satisfied with the finished product.

Everything went great! The woman who took our call and scheduled our appointments was very kind and helpful. Our sales rep, Eddie, was very nice and went through everything in detail without feeling pushy. We went on the schedule quickly and our roof was replaced in a day. Chuck and his crew were kind and worked quickly. I appreciated the texts he sent along the way letting me know the progress. Everything was cleaned up well and when they left it looked like they were never here (other than the new roof!). I appreciated all of the photos attached to the invoice so I could see the work that was done. I would definitely recommend!

Very pleased with the company. They kept us updated, as they had to push back the start date because of bad weather. They put a temporary cover over the old roof until they could do the job. It took them 2 days to complete the job, because we have a really big roof. The crew were all pleasant, and cleaned up the job site before the left each day. We were able to get frequent updates on the whole process.

Very happy with my choice to go with Newman Roofing for my new roof., skylight, bathroom vents and electric exhaust fan. They were very professional throughout the process. They had a great crew that worked hard, were friendly and very responsive to my questions. The whole process was very easy. I highly recommend them!

It went fine. With a roof you must be flexible. If you are scheduled for say Tuesday and it rains all day Monday then the Monday jobs get pushed to Tuesday and you get pushed to Wednesday. As long as you understand this you should have a good experience. It started with Steve coming and showing me my options and price. I got more than one estimate and Newman was not the cheapest but I felt Newman would do the best job for me. They showed up on time..7am..and got to work. They cleaned everything up and walked my yard and driveway to make sure no nails had escaped. Unlike most roofing companies that just send the work people out to do the roof, Newman , has a manager on site. The only thing I did was say hello and sit a cooler with ice and water in the driveway for them. ( 90 degree day). If you want a good roof, a good experience, then go with Newman.

I can't say enough about Newman Roofing. From start to finish, this company is professional. Everyone, from estimator to construction manager to the crew of roofers, came ahead of time for their appointments. The roof took only a day to complete. The morning of the construction, the production manager, Alex Boyer, introduced himself, explained what would be done and welcomed me to watch the progress and ask questions at any time. Tarps were laid everywhere to protect our property. The crew began at 7 a.m. promptly and, throughout, Alex was constantly on the move, checking on the work, helping the crew, taking pictures to show me, and providing me with updates on what they found. Other construction managers often sit in their truck most of the day. This guy was part of the team, and everyone worked well together, like good friends. They removed the old shingles and rotted plywood and got rid of them immediately. I spoke to each of the workers at different times. They were courteous, friendly and professional. They took pride in their work. When’s the last time you hired a construction crew where you could say the entire group of individuals took pride in their work? They were also gracious, as if guests in my home, so grateful for water and snacks that I provided. When they were done, my new roof looked amazing, and I know they did the job right, from start to finish. No cutting corners. I left a message at 5 p.m. to thank Newman Roofing for a great job and got a call back within 10 minutes to tell me they were grateful for my call. This is excellence on all levels. I have no doubt that if there are any issues, this company will be people who will take care of it in the future. You don’t find companies like this much anymore. Don’t bother looking at other roofers. These are the best.

Great response to estimate and project start. Project day, crew arrived in timely manner. Crew leader kept us (my wife & I) informed of the time and type of materials used. It was valuable to see heavyweight materials used in certain areas, not the flimsy aluminium so often used. The use of ice and water shield at key locations, along with starter shingle runners added to the detail and finished look of the project. Answered all our questions, stayed on site til the project was completed. First rate, no promises made, not kept! Very professional work!! A+1 contractor!

From the moment I called to Newman office, I had the impression that I was their number one priority for service. For example, from the telephone call to the time the repair crew arrived, it was approximately one hour. While rain was falling, the roof technician was on the roof, determined the cause of the roof hole, reviewed the issue with me on an I pad, told me what he would do to temporally fix the hole and indicated that if anything else happened after the fix, to call the office and they would respond quickly. Fortunately, no further help was required and a permanent fix was installed within one week. I would offer, efficiency, technician knowledge, communication with client, follow-up from central office, schedule for permanent fix, and communication with client were all outstanding. We are very happy that we selected Newman roofing. We solicited several companies for bids. Of everyone to whom we spoke, we felt that their estimations and answers were really superior to all others. Their price was competitive and they gave us several options to choose from at three different price points. We did not select them solely based on price, but rather on what we perceived to be truthfulness, and also on the well-defined process that they presented for the work. When the job was done, they had done an excellent job. Through it all, the foreman kept us constantly updated. Their work crew was professional, and the outcome was excellent.
