The experience has been excellent.

I am very pleased with the job. They removed the tree from the house, cleaned up all the limbs, debris, raked the area, and they even cleaned all the needles, saw dust, and sticks from the porch roof and gutter area. Part of the clean up included my keeping the logs. I expected them to just throw the logs in a pile behind the fence but they cut them in fire lengths and stacked them too.
I felt comfortable arranging service without an estimate as Cartwrights have done work for me in the past. I was pleased with their work and price in the past and even more pleased with them now.
All the members of the crew were pleasant and nice to work with.
I plan to have them back to trim and cut more trees this winter - after all the Sandy clean up is finished...

They are really nice and did a great job. They finished up today grinding the roots. They went above and beyond. If I need anywork like this done in the future, I am calling them! They cleaned up perfectly.

They arrived on time with all necessary equipment and did the job very professionally.  And, they cleaned everything so that you wouldn't know they'd been here. Will use them again.

The man I spoke with was very customer oriented, he was very nice and pleasant and easily understood what I wanted. He explained what they would do, and they came out today and worked like a well oiled machine. They were amazingly on time and were here for 5 hours and did everything and cleaned up everything as well. I have nothing but high recommendations for them. What surprised me was that at least two of them that spoke to me thanked me for their business, that was something I haven't had from other people and I appreciated that. I could see how they were organized and working, and I was pleasantly surprised that they got here when they said they would and seemed very pleased with their own work as well.

He did all of  the work and cleaned everything up when he was done. I am very satisfied.

We called Cartwright on the recommendation of our landscape company.  They called back the same day and came out 2 days later to give an estimate on the job. Because we did not have a way to get a bucket truck into the backyard,  we asked them if they could still do the job.  They stated that they had a fellow who went up in the tree and trimmed.  At that time, they stated that they wanted to wait until the ground froze to do the work to minimize the damage to our lawn.  Because we had such a mild beginning of the winter, the ground did not freeze until after the New Year.  They called several times in the interim to let us know that the job would be delayed until the freeze came.  After the first of the year, and we had a cold snap, they called to schedule the job. 

They came as scheduled and did a great job.  They arrived about 9:30 am and were done by 2 pm.   They completed the work with great efficiency and cleaned up after themselves.  They appeared to use great safety precautions in climbing and trimming the trees.  Our trees have never been in such good shape.  We would highly recommend them.

Being a small homeowner's association, we have a limited budget for such jobs.  We were able to negotiate a great price to get all the work we needed done.  They came out, removed all the trees we discussed and ground out the stumps and didn't leave a mess.  I would definitely hire them again.

They were very good. They were very prompt. They love attention and everybody had tree work that they needed done and it was very hard to keep up with everybody. I thought that the price was pretty good. I would say that it is a good company. It might take more than one call because they are so busy but they are very good. They came right away at first but haven't been back.

We needed to have several trees trimmed, including six Bradford Pear trees which have very soft wood.  The trimming was necessary to prevent damage from winter wind and snow weight.  The inspection and quote were received in a timely manner.  Since Cartwright was not the low bidder, we chose another provider and we might possibly regret not going with Cartwright.

Excellent company trees look very good and they cleaned up everything perfectly.  More expensive than other quotes I received but tjhey way they presented themselves and the work they performed was well worth it.

It went fine. They came when they said they would. They didn't leave any messes. They were prompt, courteous and friendly. The people that owned the house previously had used them as well.

I called them on October 23rd, and I still have not heard back from them.

This company is superb. From the estimate to the execution, they are first rate.

Came on time, plenty of workers, brought in their crane, took about 5 hours from start to finish. I'm very pleased.

They got a good rating, and they do good work. They were pretty clean and cleaned up behind themselves. And I got three price estimates, and theirs was the middle one.

It went really well. They came out very promptly. They gave me a good quote. They got the job done and there were no issues. They got it all taken care of while I was at work. They had excellent customer service and they were friendly.

Over all went very well. They were here most of the day and they were professional, courteous and polite. They are highly recommended. Very pleased with the outcome. I would use them again.

The men were pleasant and did a good job quickly. We would call them back again.

I was having new landscaping put in and the men noticed there were old stumps where we wanted to do some planting. I called Cartwright up as I saw they were in the neighborhood doing some work for the city of Shaker Heights. They were able to get there in a few days and give me a quote and do the work at the same time which was great as I was really in a pinch. Unbelievable service! Job was done perfectly and all the debris cleaned up and was able to do this on a day's notice for a reasonable price! Will definitely use again!

They were pretty good, but I've called since to have them come out and he never showed. Cartwright was cheaper than competitors by about $100. I'm going to try to get them to come back out again but also get some other ones to compare.

John responded within a couple hours of my call and set up a time to come out and give me an estimate (within a couple days) and did the work within a week. He was prompt, had several workers with him, and they accomplished everything in a very short time. They were very neat, protecting my other shrubs and flowers, and cleaned up everything. John ended up charging me even a little less than he had quoted.

Wanted very large white oak tree cut down because large branches were falling off and I thought it was dying. Ralph confirmed what other contractors said, the tree was healthy and all it needed was to prune out the dead wood. The dead wood falling is a natural shedding process. I object to providing the quote because of the subjectivity of the job based on varying factors unique to each tree and situations. Quotes obtained from 2 other companies. The contractor who landed the job was based on cost only since all three companies would have been a good choice. I am sure the lowest quote was based on the fact that I am a current seasonal customer for other lawn and tree services by that same company.
