Paid $460 some dollars to have my coolant system checked and "fixed". Drove 5 miles down the road only to have antifreeze spewing out all over.  Bought more antifreeze and filled and drive my car to another care repair shop. Paid to have the thermostat housing replaced and MORE antifreeze put in.  3 weeks ago Jimyz's agreed to refund the cost of antifreeze and a pressure check.  Called 3 times since the only to be told "the check is in the mail".  May need an attorney for this one as I am on a fixed income and this whole experience has been a nightmare!

We were kept informed, service was great. Would have them service our vehicles again.

My various encounters from beginning to end  was a welcoming and friendly interchange. I will definitely recommend this provider automotive shop and return for future services.

They have always done fantastic work on our cars. He is fantastic because a couple of times he had looked at us and he said that he can do it but if our car is still under warranty for it, we have to check on them first and then bring the car back there if it doesn't need to be done. We have always been extremely happy with his prices. They have always taken us on the spur of the moment. It is a fantastic company. It is a small hometown garage. When he has the oil changes, he sometimes has the coupons out, and he has actually checked them and got different parts for our cars. He gives an estimate when we go in so the price just depends on what we are having done, but we haven't ever been unhappy with his prices. I've always thought that they were great. He always tries to give us the best price that he possibly could. They had it done any time that we needed it done, and they did it in perfect time frame. When they told us it was going to be ready, it was always ready.

The dealer completed the repair for $600 but warned me about possible future failure due to the damage caused by the JimyZ mechanic.

I called Jimyz Automotive the morning after Thanksgiving as a result of a Better Business Bureau high rating to have a chip in my windshield (which occurred on Thanksgiving Day) repaired. First, Jimyz was the ONLY business to answer the phone and call me back to verify an appointment. The receptionist was so nice and understanding. She even called me back to let me know that if a non-perishable was brought in for families in need, I would get a and quot;lottery ticketand quot; and had the chance to win money off of the work to my Jeep. I was able to drop off my car with no problem, the receptionist came out, looked at my car, and told me she'd call when the work was complete. I ended up getting a chance to meet the owner, who seems like an all around good guy running a really solid business. I even won $10 off of my bill AND the work was even better than work I've had done in Cleveland - for LESS!! While I am not from the Streetsboro area, I have told family who lives nearby that if they ever need high quality work done to their cars by a professional - go to Jimyz!

I stopped at Jimyz to request estimates on various things I needed done on my Camry. He and his staff were very cordial, jumped right on the estimate, and were professional in every way. One of the items needing work was quoted as needing a much more involved repair than I felt was necessary, but overall I was happy with his mechanic's feedback. The reason I didn't get the work done there in the end was price. As my husband and I both work as couriers, we literally spend 1/3 of our income on our transportation and price-shopping is absolutely necessary. I wish I could have established a relationship with them as they are much more conveniently located than my usual mechanic and provide loaner cars. If it wasn't for the dollars/cents aspect, I would definitely give them a try.

It was a very good experience. I was impressed the whole way through. I used to do all the work myself but I don't have time anymore so I take my cars in when they need something. They actually called to let me know where things were if there were behind. There was a part they needed and they went out and got it instead of waiting for the delivery truck so I could get out on the road sooner, which I really appreciated. They sent a thank you note and survey afterwards, which surprised me. They gave me a loaner car because it went over; it wasn't the nicest car in the world but it got my wife to Cleveland and back which she needed. For the little tiny job they really pulled out the stops and I appreciated it. I will definitely go back.

I just thought Jim didn't read the email carefully. If he wanted my business, he could have called to obtain clarity.

I spent close to $1600 on 2 cars. Jimmy is very, very nice and very personable and does stand behind his work. With my car there was a problem with the power locks and they were sticking and he took it back in. There was absolutely no problem what so ever and he just went ahead and fixed it again for me and everything was fine. He did what he said he was going to do, did not overcharge me and did not do any other work that wasn’t authorized. The one situation I had he took care of immediately and he was very kind.

Jimmy took care of my daughter's vehicle. She was supposed to drop it off because the work was scheduled for the next day. Since she had no other vehicle, and I had to travel from Cuyahoga Falls to pick her up and pay for the service, he squeezed her in at the end of the day so we would only have to make one trip. He did this without asking. That's what I call bending over backwards! The estimate was lower than I expected as well for the brakes, so overall I have nothing negative to say about the service we got there.

My truck was running rough and I called Jim. He told me to drop off the truck so he could look at it. Jim had it ready for me later in the day. Runs great now.
