"Thanks very much for the nice review. We appreciate your business."
"Thanks very much for all three of your jobs. We really appreciate your business."
"First I would like to thank the customer for their business we appreciate it very much. At the same time I'm very sorry that they perceived it as a bad experience with our company and I apologize. Our number one goal is to always make sure our customers are happy. After reading this review I have to admit I was very surprised. After discussing the project with our painters who performed the work the only complaint they heard while doing the job was that the price was too high. We agreed on a price the day I did the estimate and that's the price we charged. The customer provided the paint and requested a one coat job. Because of one of the existing colors, I mentioned that a few areas will probably need two coats as stated in the estimate. As it turns out because of the paint and colors the customer provided we had to apply two coats on all of the walls throughout and did not ask for a price adjustment, which we think is more than fair. The job was not started on the agreed date do to other exterior and interior jobs scheduled before hand delayed due to a large amount of rain in July. We do our best to keep our schedule but some times it's a big challenge and we take responsibility for the later start date. After discussing the project with our painters the prep work and repairs were completed as stated in the estimate the same way we do on all of our jobs. However we did not dust or wipe down the walls. This is something that we do if it is needed as stated in the estimate. During all of our jobs we perform a day by day debrief with our painters to make sure we address any problems or customer concerns. During this two day project the customer didn't express any issues or concerns. At the end of the job we ask the customer to do a walk through to make sure they're happy with the work performed and give us the opportunity to address any problem areas. When the customer is satisfied we ask them to sign the work order stating they are happy with and accept the work. This customer signed the work order stating they were happy with the job. A few days later I received a call from the customer asking if we would come out and remove her bath cabinets and paint behind them. I agreed and we came out and performed the additional work as requested. During this phone call I asked the customer how the job went and was told everything was good. There was no mention of any problems or issues with our work until we received this review. Had we known the customer wasn't happy we surely would have addressed this during our second trip out or anytime after the completion of the job. In 2014 we will be celebrating our 20th year in business. We are not perfect and from time to time make mistakes but as a rule we always try to fix them. Our number on goal as a company is to do a good job and provide the best service possible."
"I am very sorry to hear that [member name removed] was not happy with the work we performed at his home in Vandalia, OH. We take all reviews and our work very seriously as our reputation is on the line. I don't recall meeting or talking to [member name removed] before or during the work, as I worked with his wife Bethany throughout the process who by the way was great to work with. After finishing the job Bethany called and said there was some things she was not happy with. We sent our painter Jon Martin to the house to work on the areas at no cost. Bethany approved the touch ups and signed off on the job at that point. As far as we knew everything was good and I didn't realize there was a problem until 6 months later when we received this review. As a company we may mistakes like everyone else and always try to fix problems within reason to make our customers happy. Had I know there was still issues over the last 6 months we would have sent someout to address their concerns. I feel like we do a great job and take pride in our work, in fact we won the Angie's List Service Award for 2012 which we are very proud of."
"Thank you so much for all of your work we appreciate it very much."
"I'm very sorry Member's are un-happy with our service. After asking permission I always take pictures of prospective jobs so I can review them for the estimate and show the job to our painters before they go out to perform the work so they are familiar with what needes to be done. I also think this rating is very un-fair as we haven't performed any work for the customer. This estimate did take longer than most for two reasons. 1) Member wanted to remove wall covering from the foyer and stairway down area and get a price to repair the walls. We agreed that she would call me when this was done and I would make a second trip to look at the walls after the wall covering was removed to see what needed done to the walls and give her a estimate after the second trip to her home. I did not hear back from her until the 17th or 18th and this still wasn't done. She then asked me to omit that part of the job and give her a estimate for the rest of the project. 2) The carpentry work they wanted done was pretty extensive and takes time to get a accurate estimate as I needed to meet with our carpenter to assess the project. I now have a estimate together on 7/23 but will not be submitting it after reading this report. I feel like I did all that we agreed to do, offered to make a second trip to the house and don't deserve this report. Also all of our other reports are A rated. At U S Pro Painters we always provided excellent qualit and customer service as all of our ratings reflect."
