There was an issue after removing the old mural; the wall had to be painted so marks wouldn't bleed through. They were very quick and came back to finish the job the same day after the paint dried.

These guys were super!  Very professional and the quality of their work is superb.  Visitors to my home even comment on the quality of the paint job. In the family room there are 12' vaulted ceilings!  The cabinets turned out gorgeous!  All involved were professional, on-time and pleasant.  They cleaned up beautifully, too.

The Operations Manager (Bill Denlinger) was out to look over the job very soon after contacted.  Since it involved so much replacement and repair of siding boards, he came back with the gentleman that would do the work (Andy).  We agreed on a price for the job with our supplying the replacement boards (we wanted to use material we had bought locally in the past).
Andy did an excellent job of repairing and replacing our bad siding boards.  His attention to detail was better than I expected, and he went "above and beyond" with some of his work.  His skills were excellent and we asked to do a few additional items that we knew needed done.
The pressure wash team came in on a rainy day -- why not -- and completely washed the siding and all parts that were to be painted in a short amount of time.
Chuck and Randy followed up with the painting of the entire exterior of the house.  This consisted of mostly the siding, but also included doors, some window frames, and all trim.
All crews were prompt and worked hard.  If it was a day they could not work because of weather, we got a call from Bill Denlinger saying so.  Bill was out to check on the progress and to make sure we were satisfied with the work being done.  And we were.
While this was not the lowest estimate for all of the work, we felt that US Pro Painters would do the best overall job for us.  We are completely satisfied with the job done -- it looks like a new house!  We would definitely recommend them for a similar job, and if we had to do it all over again, we would use US Pro Painters.

The sales rep responded promptly and was at my home with a few days for an estimate.  He was very knowledgeable and professional and provided the estimate in the time frame promised.  The job was scheduled for mid-October, but they were able to start a week earlier than scheduled.  Painters were professional - polite and courteous and easy to work with.

they called back and were very available to answer all my questions. It was going to be too expensive for me too do as I originally wanted, so Bill was very helpful in suggesting acceptable alternatives. They showed up on schedule. I was very comfortable having their painters in my home. They did a great job and cleaned up . I appreciated their professionalism, as I had called other people for estimates who either never called back the ones that did acted like the job was too small to bother with. I will definitely use US Pro Painters again in the future.

I called for the estimate and Bill came over as agreed. He gave me an estimate of 1565.00 to paint, and I furnished the paint for $265.00 totaling the amount to 1825.00. The estimate was provided on 07/29/2013, but Bill could not schedule the job until August 26, due to he said they were busy until then. The agreement was for August 26, 27, and finish on the 28th. He called on the afternoon of the 23rd of August to say they were still busy and he would have to reschedule. I had arranged for time off work, so the late notice was not convenient because I work at home. It was rescheduled for Friday, September 9th. FROM THE TIME I RECEIVED THE ESTIMATE IT WAS 6 WEEKS UNTIL THEY STARTED THE JOB.
The remainder of the job went as follows: Prep work CONTRACTED AND PAID FOR  was as follows: 1. Wipe down and dust all surfaces to be painted as needed. THIS WAS NOT DONE IN ANY ROOM. 2. Fill nail holes, make minor repairs, and caulk all cracks if needed. This was done on the first day when they were doing the living room and hallway and the ceilings. THEY DID ABOUT 50% OF WHAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE. What is worse is some of the nail holes they FILLED IN were NOT sanded down and are lumps.  Other places were just not done. 3. Repair the ceiling in the hall bath and prep to paint. THIS WAS DONE HOWEVER I SHOULD HAVE HAD THEN PROVIDE DETAILS OF WHAT EXACTLY THIS WOULD BE. 4. Repair various nail pops. AGAIN I SHOULD HAVE ASKED FOR WRITTEN DETAILS OF WHAT THIS MEANS BECAUSE THE WORK IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. They did take a light down from the kitchen ceiling, which took about 5 minutes, and they did some caulking in the kitchen, and in the bathrooms, but it doesn't look professional either.
The PAINTING 1.) Apply one coat of customer provided paint. Some surfaces may require two coats. THIS HAPPENED, HOWEVER, I COULD HAVE HIRED ANY JOE/PAINTER TO APPLY PAINT TO THE WALLS AND CEILINGS FOR WAY LESS THAN WHAT I WAS CHARGED; and, I was provided two painters on the 9th, from 8:30am to 4:30pm, and one painter on the 12th from 8:05am to 4:45pm. The other painter arrived at 10:30 and worked until 4:45pm as well. They were rushing to complete my job because another job had been scheduled for the next day. SO, I WAS CHARGED FOR A 2+ DAY JOB BUT RECEIVED LESS THAN 2. Also, I showed the one painter, John, my cabinets in the bathroom and the fact that someone had painted around it and you could still see the unpainted wall. He replied, "Oh, we're better than that!" Well, it TURNS OUT THEY'RE NOT because they did not do this. I HAD TO CALL AND ASK THAT THEY COME OUT AND DO THIS. When the two men came on Friday  to remove the cabinets and paint, One was a TRAINEE. (At this point they had already cashed my check.) Later, I noticed that the  cabinet they removed in the hallway bathroom had scratched the wall in two places that  I will have to touch it up. THIS IS NOT PROFESSIONAL. (Note: I had EVERYTHING out of EVERY ROOM including some furniture from the living room and EVERY PIECE OF FURNITURE from my son's room)
Upon the paint drying and cleaning up, I was VERY DISAPPOINTED. There was splattering of paint in my master bathroom on the vanity, floor, toilet cover and seat cover, and the towel racks. Also, the same in my other bathroom but to a lesser degree. And this was THE SAME COLOR PAINT AS THEY PAINTED WITH; and to note that these colors have NEVER been used before in my home so it was this painter and not someone else. In my kitchen there were paint splatter on the laminate floor (AND I'M STILL CLEANING THIS OFF). There was paint from the hallway bathroom on the handle of my oven door and a drip on the floor. A drip of blue paint from my living room was dried on my area rug in my kitchen. I had to take a pair of fingernail clippers and clip it off. In fact, I'm not able to get the paint off my towel racks in either bathroom and will have to replace those at MY OWN ADDITIONAL EXPENSE.
Bottom line is I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM OR REHIRE THEM. No one called to follow up after the job was done because THEY KNOW WHAT THEY DID. .......I DIDN'T HIRE AND PAY YOU FOR A "GOOD ENOUGH" JOB, I HIRED YOU AND  PAID FOR A PROFESSIONAL JOB.
In conclusion, the job was mediocre at best. The work was rushed so they made a mess with paint splatter, they did not do a professional job, or all the contracted work. After 6 weeks of waiting for them, I deserved better for what I paid for. Again, I could have hired ANYONE to do the work they did at a lot less cost, AND,  for the work done (or not done), AND  the paint mess; I would NOT REHIRE OR RECOMMEND THEM. They should even return some of my money.

Additional note: I read the reviews from 2012, which were good. There was a bad review that Bill stated was unfair like someone who was difficult to please and wanted more that what was contracted. I believed this because I too work with people and provide the same service to everyone regardless. I regret this decision. Either I was wrong or they are not the same company in 2013 as they were in 2012.

Response from U S Pro Painters LLC

"First I would like to thank the customer for their business we appreciate it very much. At the same time I'm very sorry that they perceived it as a bad experience with our company and I apologize. Our number one goal is to always make sure our customers are happy. After reading this review I have to admit I was very surprised. After discussing the project with our painters who performed the work the only complaint they heard while doing the job was that the price was too high. We agreed on a price the day I did the estimate and that's the price we charged. The customer provided the paint and requested a one coat job. Because of one of the existing colors, I mentioned that a few areas will probably need two coats as stated in the estimate. As it turns out because of the paint and colors the customer provided we had to apply two coats on all of the walls throughout and did not ask for a price adjustment, which we think is more than fair. The job was not started on the agreed date do to other exterior and interior jobs scheduled before hand delayed due to a large amount of rain in July. We do our best to keep our schedule but some times it's a big challenge and we take responsibility for the later start date. After discussing the project with our painters the prep work and repairs were completed as stated in the estimate the same way we do on all of our jobs. However we did not dust or wipe down the walls. This is something that we do if it is needed as stated in the estimate. During all of our jobs we perform a day by day debrief with our painters to make sure we address any problems or customer concerns. During this two day project the customer didn't express any issues or concerns. At the end of the job we ask the customer to do a walk through to make sure they're happy with the work performed and give us the opportunity to address any problem areas. When the customer is satisfied we ask them to sign the work order stating they are happy with and accept the work. This customer signed the work order stating they were happy with the job. A few days later I received a call from the customer asking if we would come out and remove her bath cabinets and paint behind them. I agreed and we came out and performed the additional work as requested. During this phone call I asked the customer how the job went and was told everything was good. There was no mention of any problems or issues with our work until we received this review. Had we known the customer wasn't happy we surely would have addressed this during our second trip out or anytime after the completion of the job. In 2014 we will be celebrating our 20th year in business. We are not perfect and from time to time make mistakes but as a rule we always try to fix them. Our number on goal as a company is to do a good job and provide the best service possible."

Bill. D was quick to set up estimate and start work. The price was decent and was happy that he was able to start work fast. There were specific imperfections in the walls that we wanted fixed and these were voiced before the job started. Once work began they moved quick, I had to contact the company multiple times though regarding these imperfections that had still not been fixed. Once calling about these communication started to decline. I voiced my concerns to Bill. D who assured me that he would personally review the work before being complete. Once the workers were done I never got a phone call or email stating that they had completed work. I had to call them to ask if they were done. The house that they painted is empty being fixed to sell. The longer that I work in there the more that I see that is sloppy work.Corners in rooms can clearly see the previous colors, as well as by the bottom trim. I have found 3 spots that were patched for holes, but then were never painted. The kitchen that was a green color it was supposed to be primed prior to being painted, but there are multiple areas you can see the green underneath the new paint. I ended up having to buy additional paint to due to multiple touch up painting. When paying this amount of money one would expect to not have to touch up any paint. I would suggest if using this company to throughly check the paint job before paying. Pay attention to corners, anything by trim work, and any parts of the walls that have been patched. Also make sure that any areas that have dark colors underneath that they are primed before painting over.

"I am very sorry to hear that [member name removed] was not happy with the work we performed at his home in Vandalia, OH. We take all reviews and our work very seriously as our reputation is on the line. I don't recall meeting or talking to [member name removed] before or during the work, as I worked with his wife Bethany throughout the process who by the way was great to work with. After finishing the job Bethany called and said there was some things she was not happy with. We sent our painter Jon Martin to the house to work on the areas at no cost. Bethany approved the touch ups and signed off on the job at that point. As far as we knew everything was good and I didn't realize there was a problem until 6 months later when we received this review. As a company we may mistakes like everyone else and always try to fix problems within reason to make our customers happy. Had I know there was still issues over the last 6 months we would have sent someout to address their concerns. I feel like we do a great job and take pride in our work, in fact we won the Angie's List Service Award for 2012 which we are very proud of."

In addition to being the lowest bidder on the job, US Pro also had the fastest and least intrusive time estimate for completion of the
work.   Once we accepted their estimate, they quickly began work, and completed it promptly and well.  Although there were as many as 4 painters engaged at any one time, they worked quietly and efficiently, were courteous, and cleaned up at the end of the day each of the four days they took to complete the job.
We wer very satisfied with the entire process, and would not only recommend US Pro, but will contact them again for myself if the need
arises.

The project started out GREAT and on task.  It was being done in coordination with the removal of carpet for laminate flooring and the house was a chaotic mess that the guys managed to dance around and thru without a hitch.  The color they helped me select was absolutely stunning with the new laminate floor and all went well until we got to the Master Bedroom where it was discovered that the foundation had been cracked/leaking for an indeterminant time.  Issues with the condo association arose and were quite protracted over responsibility for fixing this crack until they finally manipulated me into paying for opening the drywall from the inside to access the crack.  US Pro painters ALSO did THAT job which you can't even TELL was ever done!  Opted to go ahead and have the closet painted at that time which looked so professional that I also decided to have the remaining closets painted!  That will happen on 2/12/13 and I'll have a finished project... and it's just SO stunning.... which I couldn't have done without this company and their flexibility and professionalism!  Thanks, US Pro Painters!

Overall, US Pro Painters were professional, quality, and responsive.
I first called and left a message to obtain an estimate.  They called me back the same day and set up a time to conduct the estimate. When Bill came to my house, he was courteous, efficient, and able to give me an estimate right on the spot.  He later emailed me a printed copy.
The painting team arrived on time on the day of painting and quickly got to work.  They were careful with my furniture and belongings that they had to move to paint.  Every day, they would move the furniture to the center of the room and put it back at the end of the day.  I could use my master bedroom normally during the 3 days they were at my house.  They were neat and clean with the paint.
The work they did was very high quality.  The paint is even, the lines on the ceiling and boarders are clean, and trim looks as if it were always white - very smooth.  There are no brush strokes or roller marks.
The crew in my house were responsive to any questions I had and took my concerns seriously.  For example, I didn't understand what their workflow was going to be in order to get it all completed within 3 days.  Steve took the time to explain to me what they were going to do, and the order in which they were going to complete it.  Steve also would confirm the colors or areas I wanted painting before applying paint to minimize errors.  I appreciated his attentiveness.
When they left, my room looked great.  The painters did a great job at cleaning up after themselves.  The team swooped in, got the job done, and left the rooms tidy.
If I have more painting, I will use Pro Painters.

When I called for an estimate, they were professional, and came out the next day.  After measuring the rooms to be painted, they gave me a written estimate right then.  They were able to start the job the day I needed them to, and finished ahead of schedule even though I added the basement to the project halfway through the original job.  I added the basement because I was so impressed with their work on the main floor.  The painters came each day either on time or a little early, and worked hard every day.  They were pleasant and professional, and after the job was through, left the house neat and put back together.  I am pretty picky, and I couldn't find anything I needed them to correct.  I would definitely use them again, and would highly recommend them to others.

The owner, Bill Denlinger, showed up and gave me a quote.  I agreed and they showed up when promised and began right away.  Did a very nice job on the exterior and moved to the interior.  The owner warned me in advance they they may have to apply a second coat to cover spots and theis did happen and was added to the bill.  The painters moved furniture and breakables out of the way and covered the rest - in the end, everything was fine.  The crew might have cleaned up and replaced items removed during painting bit better in spots, but overall I was very pleased.  Again,we retained same colors inside.
I liked the fact that they had bonded and background checked employee (no subs) since I ws not able to be there with them during most of the job.  A professional job, friendly crew and a good experience overall.

We had someone out to give us an estimate two weeks ago (today is 7/19/12) for ceiling repair and painting, as well as installing wall trim. The man was here for about twenty minutes taking pictures of everything, which I thought was strange. I didn't hear back from him so I call him on Monday or Tuesday the following week and he claimed to be working on my estimate. I have not heard back from the company and will not be calling them again. I also will not be using the company for any services now, or in the future. I cannot believe how incredibly unprofessional this company is, and am concerned about where the photos of the interior of my home are now.
Response from U S Pro Painters LLC

"I'm very sorry Member's are un-happy with our service. After asking permission I always take pictures of prospective jobs so I can review them for the estimate and show the job to our painters before they go out to perform the work so they are familiar with what needes to be done. I also think this rating is very un-fair as we haven't performed any work for the customer. This estimate did take longer than most for two reasons. 1) Member wanted to remove wall covering from the foyer and stairway down area and get a price to repair the walls. We agreed that she would call me when this was done and I would make a second trip to look at the walls after the wall covering was removed to see what needed done to the walls and give her a estimate after the second trip to her home. I did not hear back from her until the 17th or 18th and this still wasn't done. She then asked me to omit that part of the job and give her a estimate for the rest of the project. 2) The carpentry work they wanted done was pretty extensive and takes time to get a accurate estimate as I needed to meet with our carpenter to assess the project. I now have a estimate together on 7/23 but will not be submitting it after reading this report. I feel like I did all that we agreed to do, offered to make a second trip to the house and don't deserve this report. Also all of our other reports are A rated. At U S Pro Painters we always provided excellent qualit and customer service as all of our ratings reflect."

Bill D. came to our home to review what we wanted done and to provide an estimate at an agreed upon date/time which was only two days after my initial call in April.  All areas were measured and we were satisfied with the estimate which also included the paint for all of the areas. I did inform Bill that I wanted the work done the first week in May and that was when they did the work.  I liked the idea that I could go anywhere and gather paint samples and just let them know what I wanted and for which rooms and they picked up the paint. The painters arrived on time as scheduled and were very professional.  They moved all necessary furniture and covered the  furniture and carpeting. They completed the job in two days giving all areas two coats.  A few days after completion of  the job, I noticed a couple of  minor areas in my kitchen that needed to be touched up.  I contacted Bill and a time was arranged for  a return visit to do the touch ups.  The concerns were minimal and it only took about 15 minutes.  We were very satisfied with the entire process and the professional manner of all the staff with whom we came in contact.

We called US. Pro Painters on a Monday afternoon and they scheduled an appointment to see what we wanted done and provide a estimate on Wednesday. We were pleased to learn that they would be able to begin the job on the following Monday, arriving by 8:00 or 8:30. Mike and Chuck arrived about 8:30 am. on Monday 2/13/12. They spent the morning doing a thorough job of preparing the walls. The dining room had dated wallpaper above the chair rail. They carefully cut out any bubbles and smoothed out the wall. They applied primer and two coats of paint, which covered the wallpaper completely. The painters did a very professional job on all of the rooms and left the work area clean when they left. They were both polite and professional.

We would certainly use US Pro Painters for future painting needs.
