Mr. Gibson's estimate said he would repair 9 windows with caulking as well as the back door, scrape areas where working, replace one front window bottom board, and apply wood filler to one hole in back window. His estimate was based on 8 hours work and the cost seemed reasonable to me, $250 for labor and $30 cash for material.
He said he couldn't get to the work until the end of August. The last week of August he called and asked me to wait until the second full week of September. When he called yet again to put the job off, I asked him to go ahead and get the work done because I was afraid the weather would turn bad. He agreed to come on Sep. 09, and said he would be there at 7:00 AM. He didn't arrive until almost 9:00 AM, but that was fine with me.
He proceeded to apply caulk around the windows, liberally. He slopped the caulk all over the brick, on all the windows. To replace the window sill on the front window he used a scrap piece of board that was not flat and was cut across the grain. Then he applied caulk, liberally, over the wood. He said slap some paint on the windows and no one will ever notice.
When I went to put the window screens back up, the screen would not fit on that window due to the odd shaped board and the amount of caulking.
He finished all the work in 3 1/2 hours instead of 8 hours, I assume because he needed to get back to other work. But he still charged me the full $250 he had estimated for 8 hours work. This made it a little over $70 per hour. Pretty good money for the work done. He did refund $13 of the $30 cash I had paid him, saying he had only used 2 tubes of caulk. I don't know what was paid for materials because he didn't offer a receipt. Surely he didn't pay anything for that scrap wood.
I had a string of lights along bushes at the side of the walk which he tripped over. The light at the end was laying on the ground after he left. The lights had stopped working.
I found a rusty razor blade in the front yard, and the knife for the razor blade on the ground by a window.
I had asked him to cut a small piece of 1/4 round to replace one I had lost in the kitchen. I supplied the long piece of new 1/4 round and he cut a tiny piece off for the replacement. Turned out the new 1/4 round was bigger than what was originally there. He cut another tiny piece for the opposite corner, said slap some paint on them and no one will ever know. Then he threw my original piece away. Then he took my remaining new 1/4 round with him. I called him the next day and he said he would bring it back but never did.
I had bought a quart of paint before I talked to Mr.Gibson. He said oh, no, that wouldn't be near enough. So I went ahead and bought another gallon of the paint. I used about 1/2 of the quart of paint, and never opened the gallon. I guess if he had done the painting and slopped as much paint on as he did caulk he may have needed the gallon. As it is I'm stuck with it.

It went well. Mr. Gibson is honest and trustworthy and will complete a job until you are happy with it. He is a little slow as he works by himself so don't be in a hurry. Other than that, he provided what we asked for.

I called him for an estimate for the and he show up on time and took his time and provide a fair and accurate estimate. Upon agreeing on the estimate, he return the following day on time and took his time and complete the job to my satisfaction. He exceeded my satisfaction. He seems very knowledgable in all areas from plumbing, electricial, drywall and handyman work. I would definitely hire him again for any job.

The provider provided a fair estimate to complete the jobs. He arrived on time the day he was scheduled to start the projects. The provider was professional and took his time to ensure the measurement were correct and as he cut an opening in the wall between the kitchen and dinning room, he continued to ensure the area was level on all sides. After the opening was cut out he knew exactly how much lumber was needed to frame the area. After he finished the bar, he immediately started on the next project. I was very impress with his work habits, the price and the quality of work. I looking forward to contacting the provider again for future projects.

He arrived on time the next day. He was very knowledgeable and took his time to complete the job right. He set the shower base in concrete and ensure it was level. He came back the next day after the concretes set and install the walls and drywall in the shower. He knew exactly what to do and gave me a few recommendation on other areas in the bathroom. I asked him to come back to work on other projects around the house.

I have had Tim do alot of work for me. He is very affordable, and takes detail in his work. He installed new 2 banister's for me and painted pretty much my whole house. he stained my deck, and I even rehired him to widen the doors on my new shed at our new house, as well has paint it. If you need someone to be honest, do a great job at an affordable price call TIM!!

Built a new wall in my basement and put flooring in my attic. He put up stereo speakers on my deck, as well as installed cabinets in my garage. He also assembled a TV stand for a new TV, plus hook up all the electronics. He moved electrical outlets for the TV, cable, and electricity. He charges a relatively fixed labor rate, about 22 dollars an hour. Then, he goes and picks up all the materials at Lowe's using a contractor's discount with the store. All in all a great value.
