There is a young girl who works there as a coordinator. She made more than a few mistakes regarding documents that we had given her more than once. She would call asking for documents we'd already provided causing us to get frustrated and she sent an email to us, which I believe was meant for her boss, telling him she thinks we're upset with her. Yet her boss, the loan officer, never stepped in to help the situation. Long story short someone at Rapid put the wrong insurance company on our closing documents. The lady at All State Title said she would correct it but never did and the title company paid the wrong insurer. I contacted my relator to find out what happened and how to fix it. I then resent an email to the loan officer at Rapid and my relator clearly showing which insurer I had requested a few week prior to closing. Eventually we had to call the insurance company and fix the problem ourselves. So I'm very upset that no one at Rapid tried to own up to their mistake and take responsibility for it. Mistakes happen, that's understandable. But at no time did the loan officer at Rapid attempt to contact me, apologize, or correct the mistake. Very unprofessional. They closed the loan then never gave a you know what about us.
Description of Work: At first the loan officer was responsive and friendly. However they made a mistake that caused us a big headache after closing and never attempted apologize, explain what happened, or correct it.

It started in November 2013, a simple refinance, No credit check, No appraisal needed. What should have taken 4-6 weeks at the most took 6 months. Every document requested was given to then immediately, yet every month there was another delay preventing the close of the loan. First, my original loan was sold effective 12/01/2013, so the delay was confirming the loan, balance and payment history. I understand this delay. Second, my application was moved to another processor in January 2014, really? Third, the property taxes had to be paid by the current mortgage company, so February closing could not happen. Fourth, "current mortgage company" was not responding to requests for payoff information, I was told the close would happen, even got the cashier check, and then was told it was too late in the month, no close. Fifth, again the mortgage company was being blamed, so I got involved this time. Received the payoff information, re-certified bank account and payment history using a third party, got another cashiers check, and no close. Not enough days left in the month. Finally I told them they had until the 15th of May or I was taking my business elsewhere. Guess what, finally closed on the 15th. Agreed upon time was changed 3 hours before the close, good thing I am flexible. Communication was the worst. If I didn't contact them, I didn't hear from them at all. Don't be fooled by their name, There is nothing "Rapid" about this company.
