Pete came out and installed the fan, but didn't have the thermostat with him. He said he would have to run back to the shop to get it, and that he would be back the same day. I never heard anything from him after that. I later found that he had installed a USED fan instead of the new one he charged me for. I called and called until his number seemed to be disconnected, so I tried to track him down. I tracked down his shop address and went trying to look for him. When I was finally able to locate him, he admitted to installing a used fan, and claimed that the thermostat was on order and would be installed as soon as he got it. I didn't see or hear anything for another 2 months, so I went looking for him again. He dodged me up until this morning, when he began to curse at and insult me. He never gave me any sort of an invoice for what he did do, and he certainly isn't willing to make it right. I just want to make sure that nobody else has to go through what I did, because this job was a total loss. I had to hire someone else to repair what he did and didn't do.
Description of Work: I hired Pete Hackworth to replace a fan and thermostat on my heating system in November of 2013.
