basically they are stealing my $450! How thieves like them can stay in business is beyond me

This provider fist came out in March of 2015 and gave an estimate. They have yet to begin work on my property and refuse to give me a refund.

It was a great experience after many estimates I decided to go with The Third Estimate as they seemed to have the best value and most options for my budget. We did all the paperwork and they made the sunroom they came out and built the foundation for it and then installed the sunroom in just a couple days. They left my property spotless I was very impressed. We are already enjoying our new sunroom.

When I looked for a roofer on your site, Third Estimate Corp received the best reviews. As I read however, I saw that they use IKO shingles...the defective shingles we have now. Our insurance adjuster informed us that there is a class action suit against the manufacturer of these shingles. I'm not sure how they ended on your site, but I'm very disappointed,

I have always been very happy with the customer service that I received from their sales team. However, after the work was completed, it has been a different story. They ran out of trimming around the bottom of my home, and had to use a different trim to complete it. I would like this fixed. I have several things that need to be corrected, such as siding and an electrical cover that needs to be installed. Also, there are bees that are coming in under my door due to it being crooked. I have contacted them numerous times over the months to ask them to come and fix these small things, but no one has, and I am feeling very frustrated.

We will ask them to return our deposit and will post a follow up review. This type of last minute demand for additional money is a flat out unprofessional money grab. I have lost all faith in them as a company that I would do business with and feel that if we go forward with the work they will not do a good job and will keep asking us for more money.

We purchased this deal and made an appointment to get measured. The representative came out on November 4 to measure. We had standard sized windows and all 4 were the same size. We wanted one window to be triple paned instead of double paned so he told us it would be an additional $175 which we agreed to pay. We signed a contract and it states on the contract an estimated 4-5 weeks until they would start. After 4 weeks I called to check on the windows and was told that they were expecting them in any day and they would call to set up the appointment. I waited two more weeks and called again. Dave told that they weren't even ordered yet but he would come out to measure for them. I told him that someone had already measured but he said that they always have an initial and then final measurement. He apologized and said our order had fallen through the cracks. When Dave came out he told us that we could not get these windows in triple pane, that they are not even available that way. He also said because we had storm windows on there would be an additional $25 charge per window that he would waive for us due to the delay in our order. But then he said that because we had vinyl siding there would be an additional $70 charge per window to replace the exterior trim that they would have to remove during installation. I told him that we have had lots of windows installed in various houses and I had never heard of having to pay to finish off the trim around the windows. He said on the deal it said "standard wood common opening" in the description and that meant that the trim would be extra. I felt like this was a very deceptive way of upcharging once you have committed to the deal and our contract does not state any additional charges. I contacted Angie's List and they backed up the contractor but they did return our money.

Contractors were on time. Work was consistent. Excellent clean up after the work was completed.

went extremely well- they did a great job. It was spread very thick, I did not get any more weeds in that large bed.

In January there was a bad storm that blew siding off our house. After calling a couple of contractors who wanted money just to come out and assess our damages, I ran across an ad for the Third Estimate Company, whose slogan is “Get two estimates, then call us” so I did. They offered to come out free of charge to give us an estimate and to also provide a free inspection to the exterior of our home in case there were other damages from the storm. After inspecting our home they found other storm damage which also required us to have to replace the roof. Without their expertise we would have never known the extent of storm damage to our home. The Third Estimate Company worked with us and our insurance company to help get our house repaired. The representative Jim was great to work with. We felt comfortable with their seamless process and after checking them out; decided to go with them for the roof and siding replacement. Jim dropped off samples for the roof and siding and worked with us to select the best options for our home. Our house looks fantastic! The roof was completed in 1-day and the siding was completed in about 2-days. The work crew was professional, worked from sun-up to sundown, and cleaned up consistently as they performed the work. My neighbor was home during most of the work and complimented the work crew professionalism. We are also impressed by the details of the trim job they did around our water faucet, and light fixtures. We are completely happy with our new roof and siding, and recommend the Third Estimate Company. Angelia J. Webster

These people were so knowledgeable and friendly I would recommend them to anyone. We ended up finding someone more local who could do the job for less, but if you are local to these guys, give them a call. Wonderful people

We gave them a deposit on August 16th, and they have yet to do the work. I have trying to contact them every week for when the service will be, promising me every week, but they never show up. He sent me an e-mail promising me to show up last Thursday or Friday and still no one has shown up.

I bought the deal of 100 linear feet of gutter guard to do the front of my house. I was very pleased that they were also able to include the rear of the house with an additional payment. They did a fantastic job- cleaning out gutters that had supposedly just been cleaned out 2 weeks ago by another company. The gutter guard is very good quality, and I am hoping that it will last a long time. The 2 men were very professional and cleaned up everything. I would be happy to use them again.

Head of company came to house. Explained all details and we signed contract. Work was performed in a timely and very professional manner.

House is beautiful. Many compliments. Final clean up from yard took a couple calls.

MY WHOLE EXPERIENCE FROM START TO FINISH WAS A+. JAKE HODGESON WAS THE ESTIMATER WHO CAME OUT TO REVIEW WHAT I WANTED DONE AND GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE. HE WAS A PERFECT GENTLEMAN, WELL-SPOKEN, VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND VERY WILLING TO "GO THE EXTRA MILE". HE WAS THE ONLY ONE OF THREE COMPANIES I TALKED TO WHO ACTUALLY GOT ON A LADDER TO LOOK CAREFULLY AT THE PROBLEM. AS A RESULT, HE SAW PROBLEMS THE OTHER TWO DID NOT. HE ALSO TOOK THE TIME TO CLEAN OUT SOME DEBRIS IN ORDER TO HELP PREVENT ANOTHER INCIDENT BEFORE THE GUTTERS COULD BE REPLACED. HE TOLD ME IT WOULD TAKE 2 TO 3 WEEKS FOR THE WORK TO BE DONE. AT THE TWO WEEK MARK I CALLED TO FIND OUT WHEN THE INSTALLATION WAS GOING TO TAKE PLACE. THE GAL WHO TOOK MY CALL, GAVE ME "STEVE'S" VOICEMAIL AND I LEFT MY MESSAGE. THE VERY NEXT DAY THE INSTALLER CAME, HE AND I REVIEWED WHAT HAD TO BE DONE, HE MADE SUGGESTIONS WHICH WERE VERY HELPFUL AND COMPLETED THE WORK IN RECORD TIME. I WILL GO BACK TO THEM TO REPLACE ALL MT GUTTERS IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

Mike from Third Estimate came out to give us a estimate on our roof he seen are Aluminum siding had a lot of dings in it . Mike set up everything and handled everything with our insurance guy all we had to do was pick our color of our siding and roof and sign the insurance check Mike did the rest. Mike sent his first crew out to do our roof and they did a great job with in 6 hours we had a new roof on . Next came our siding the crew worked very hard did a good job cleaning everything up . We have one thing left waiting on a call back from Mike about our garage that was suppose to be capped off and they didn't get that done yet . Other than that we are very satisfied with this company . We have had a ton of compliments on the improvement of our property .Update : Third estimate came out and finished capping our garage off as promised very good job to all . We would recommend them and would use them again in the future if needed

They do roofing and gutters and they are also full contractors. We just had partial gutters put in on only one side of our house. They were prompt and they did an excellent job on installing the gutters. Our interactions with them were great and we did not have any problem with them at all. The gutters are working out great and they have been wonderful so far. Their price was also good. We would definitely use their services again in the future.

From start to finish everyone involved was very professional. Was completely satisfied, did a great job.

Delayed due to cold and snow. Did roof in1 and 1/2 days - gutters in 1 day. Maintained contact and performed work as weather allowed.

I was disappointed with the start date taking nearly 2 months after being told 4-5 weeks. In the end, work was great. EVerything looks great and we were impressed with the clean-up.

Everyone on time, very safe practices, friendly, and kept us informed twice a week on progression.

It went okayl. the roof was finished first. they did leave a gap where the garage met the house. and some damage was done. The foreman looked at it and went out to home depot to repair the problem. And then the problem was further taken care of with some trim. The roof took 2 days as it was a small crew. The cleanup the first day was shabby, the second day was done right. The next task was gutters with inserts, which the salesman agreed on.Now this is where things started to go wrong. Unfortunately the salesman lied and reneged on the inserts, but eventually agreed. Again the salesman agreed I was to get 100 dollars for each referral that work was done for. He reneged on this also, was very unprofessional arragant argumentative, not the way a customer was to be treated. I hung up on him. He really caused me a lot of anxiety. I wrote the owner about the situation and he responded positively, allowing me to get the bonuses which I gained for them very close to a dozen thus wipeing out my 500 debt and giving me a good commission which I havent got yet. I should have wrote him immediately. With that miserable salesman I would rate the company a C. But with the support of the owner I would rate them a B The gutter man was excellent.
