About us
The company now known as Solon Glass Center Inc. was established in 1963. At that time its primary focus was the repair of broken window glass. Through the years, the uses for glass have evolved and Solon Glass Center has evolved with it. We are capable of producing and installing mirrored walls, quality table tops with precise fabrication and diamond polished edges, Basco shower doors, heavy glass Euro-frameless shower doors, as well as perform window and screen repairs, and many other items listed on our products page. During all this time we have held fast to the principles of treating our customers as we would expect to be treated and caring for their property as we would our own.

Solon Glass completed the job perfectly from beginning to end. The gentleman that came to the property to take the measurements, setting up the appointment for repair and the repairman were very professional. I am very pleased with the finished product. I will certainly use this company again.

Solon Glass showed exceptional expertise from start to finish. The salesman Scott provided two detailed quotes for two different options, one less expensive than the other. The work crew measured the windows while I was away, prepared the glass, and then installed the new storm windows in an efficient and friendly manner. I expected to be told that I needed new windows or a new storm-window system; instead, Solon Glass used their technical expertise to find a creative and aesthetically pleasing solution.

It went well. The process to quote was painless. Most of hte information was taken over the phone. The company sent out a representative to verify, which I didn't need to be present. The job date was scheduled and the work performed had taken a couple of hours.

I set up an appointment to be here between 10.00am and 11:00am, and they were here at 10:01am. They covered their shoes with protectors to keep my floors clean and went right to work. They were very neat and cleaned up. I am very pleased with their service and staff. They were very nice and courteous people. I will most definitely use them - great service!

They were on time careful had drop clothes to keep the carpet clean. Removed the old and cleaned up the area before installing the new track and glass.

I am very satisfied with Solon Glass. I chose them not only because their pricing was quite competitive, but also because the employees I spoke with were very knowledgeable. Very nice when I called to have someone come out and give me an estimate. The price was reasonable. They answered all of my questions and made sure I knew what the procedure would be like. They came out promptly on the scheduled date to repair the window and it is perfect. They also have a great showroom for anyone that can take the time to visit it.

We stopped by the showroom in Solon and met the staff, then arranged for a visit to measure the shower door dimensions. Wasn't too long after this we set up a date for install. Fantastic new shower door, and one year later we are still very happy with it and the installing company.

Excellent service in the showroom, followed up by a visit within a few days to our home to measure for the door. Within 10 days the door was ready for installation. They arrived promptly, installed the door on a shower stall, and within a few hours the job was complete. Very professional - very clean work. The door is beautiful and we're very pleased.

When I called for an estimate they came out the next day. When the work was done they were right on time. Very nice crew, very professional. Also very neat. The shower looks excellent and the window glass is perfect.
