Not once did anyone simply say, "I'm sorry you are experiencing problems with your mattress, let me see what I can do to help". After a discussion with a Sedlaks customer service rep earlier in the week, I received call back from her today telling me that, Jan Sedlak said they cannot do anything about the mattress but if I wanted to buy a new one, she would give me the sale price. Seriously??? Why would I want to purchase another of the same mattress I'm already having issues with? Sedlaks is clearly out of touch with their customers, in desperate need of customer service training and service recovery training. I will never shop in this store again and would never recommend it to anyone. They do not stand behind their products and do not treat their customers with the respect they deserve.

I purchased the couch and two chairs, expierence was good until 4 months after owning the furniture a black spot appeared on one of the chairs in the head area.
I was told it is from my husband's head touching the leather either because of 1) chemicals in his body 2) hairspray etc. 3) medication he may be taking
Then i was informed it was UNPROTECTED leather and the only way to prevent that from happening is not to let the body come in contact with the leather, that it could also start discoloring the arms also.
I was NEVER told that when I made the decision with a salesman on this furniture, I did not know there was protected or unprotected leather, who would ever buy this furniture if your body could not come in contact with it!
Sedlaks would not take the furniture back with a full refund. They did replace the piece of leather with a new one. Also replaced the seat cushion which within a few months went flat.
My husband now sits in the old fake leather recliner, and the new one sits there looking good. I tried to keep a blanket over the chair but it kept falling off so he does not sit in it.

They spend a great deal of time looking for the clock that matched our desires/the right style/right tone/and the right sound. I have been happy with this company. I have used them in the past and once again I have had great service.

The mattress purchase was fine. We knew we wanted higher quality mattresses and didn't want a fly by night place so went to Sedlak for Stearns & Foster brand. The sales person (Dick Pardee) was very helpful. Delivery was another matter. When taking a mattress and box spring to the basement the delivery people put holes in the underside of each when pivoting around the landing and hit the banister. They also broke the landing step in the process. And, their hands were dirty so they got the mattresses dirty. We made them wash their hands but it didn't help the one that was already dirty. The delivery people did not seem to care that they were providing poor service.

In June of 2006, I placed an order for a chair from Sedlak Interiors. I thoroughly questioned the salesman, Dick Pardee, who assured me that the chair I sat in would have the same quality as the chair I ordered. My head is not supported and my feet do not touch the ground, which I need. I don't want this chair, and I want a full refund for the price I paid for the chair. I have contacted the company and they want me to pay a restocking fee for them to take the chair back of approximately $300+.

WE HAD SEARCHED AND SEARCHED FOR THE RIGHT ENTERTAINMENT ARMOIRE FOR OUR LIVING ROOM AND WE FOUND IT AT SEDLAK. I LOVE THE FACT THAT THEIR SALESPEOPLE DO NOT WORK ON COMMISSION, SO THEY DON'T BUG YOU WHILE YOU'RE TRYING TO LOOK. THE PIECE WAS DELIVERED PROMPTLY AND ONE OF THEIR PEOPLE CAME OUT TO TOUCH UP A COUPLE OF SCUFFS.

THE ENTERTAINMENT CENTER WAS DELIVERED AND CARRIED DOWNSTAIRS. THE DELIVERYMEN WERE CAREFUL TO NOT DAMAGE THE WALLS, PANELING OR THE STEPS. MY IMPRESSION OF SOME OF THE SALES STAFF IS THAT THEY ARE STANDOFFISH - BUT BEING PERSISTENT WILL GET YOU WHAT YOU WANT AT THIS STORE.

I PURCHASED A BAR FROM THEM WHICH I ORDERED IN MAY. I RECEIVED IT IN DECEMBER AND IT WAS DAMAGED. THIS WAS ARGUABLY THE WORST SALES EXPERIENCE EVER.

THEY WOULDNT LET ME RETURN THE CHAIR BECAUSE IT WAS A "SPECIAL ORDER" EVEN THOUGH I BOUGHT THE FLOOR DEMO.
