The crew completed our total roof replacement in two days. The workers were professional, neat and courteous. They were punctual and cleaned up thoroughly after themselves. They worked non-stop both days. We went with GAF HD Timberline shingles in Mission Brown and the roof looks fabulous. We are extremely pleased with the entire job/process from beginning to end and cannot recommend Thaxton roofers highly enough. A+++++ Thank you for the excellent service!

Working with Thaxton Roofing was a great process from start to finish. Mike was fantastic to work with. He knew we had severe wind damage from a big storm and did not try to take advantage of that like some of the other storm chasers that gave me quotes. He also new that my insurance refused to cover the work because my existing roof was past 10 years and worked with me to work within my budget, knowing that I had to come out of pocket the entire expense. His quote came in well below the others and his included a new Velux skylight with installation. I really appreciated his explanation of the process and his honesty about the things that we may have to take care of from the install (like have our satellite dish reinstalled or the cost of potential plywood replacement). He was very timely in his communication. The work they did was high quality. They completed the 2 day scheduled job in one day (which seemed to be the norm on our condo units) but his crew stayed until sun down to finish (and they did two units at once, mine and my neighbors). They also left the place as they found it and the new roof looks fantastic and there were no surprises with the invoice. It's nice to do business with people who stay true to their word and you can tell are not trying to screw you over to make an extra buck. If only Mike worked for my insurance company :)

I contacted Thaxton Roofers and was called back the following day. I arranged for the contractor to come and check out my roof several days later. The crew arrived as scheduled and diagnosed the cause of my roof leak. The contractor was able to work me into his schedule and perform the repairs the same day. I am extremely pleased as the repairs are totally blended with my existing roof shingles.

They did an awesome, awesome job. They fit us in their schedule so we didn't have to wait. When you have a leaky roof, you do not want to go through the winter with everything. They are very affordable and they didn't gouge us for things that we didn't need to have done. They also recommended a really good painter. They were very understanding as far as us paying them

They were very good. They actually moved us up to do part of it where we had a current problem. They did the rest of the work when we came up in their schedule. I thought it was really nice that they pushed up in their schedule when we had a leaking problem. They completely cleaned up after themselves.

It was a pleasure to work with Mike and Al. I was concerned about icing problems because the roof has a 24 inch overhang. Al suggested two 3 foot layer of iceguard to meet code requirements. I also was concerned about snow and debris present in the attic from the old ridge vent. I requested that Al check out the snow country ridge vent instead of his standard ridge vent. Al checked it out and snow country ridge vent was acceptable to him. We updated and signed the contract. Weather was cooperative. My turn came up their schedule.
Material was delivered the day before they started. The first day they tore off and re-roofed the upper roof of our colonial. On the second day, they tore off and reroofed the lower roof of the colonial and the attached garage roof. When they finished each day, the material was hauled away and the yard cleaned. You cound hardly tell they had been there after the clean up on the second day. Roof looks great and I am well pleased with their work.

I had a tree limb fall on the roof and they responded very quickly. They came out that exact morning and fixed it. They have been very responsive to me.

My roof had been leaking for several years. I had the original roofers out several times to try to repair it without success. I called Mike Thaxton late March. He gave me an estimate and explained the work could not be done until the temperature got warmer due to concrete work needed for the top wash. A few weeks later, when the temperature had improved but the rains wouldn't stop, Mike made a point of stopping over to tell me he had not forgotten about the work. I was very impressed by this. As soon as the weather permitted, Mike and his crew completed the work. If I hadn't been home at the time the work was completed, I wouldn't have known they were there. There wasn't a scrap of material or a nail on the ground. They did a wonderful job!

They were recommended to us. They did a great job and cleaned everything up spotless. They are very knowledgeable and work efficiently. The roof looks great.
