We had a very large and complicated concrete pour that we struggled to find a contractor that we felt was qualified enough to complete. After many different calls and site surveys performed our board choose to use APEX. There office was always friendly and went over the call of duty to bring our project together. There in the field guys were top notch and had very nice equipment. Being in the world of construction I was pleasantly surprised by how professional everyone at this company was from the office to the guy in the hole. The concrete portion was performed in such a high caliber that I paid them also to do all our signage erection in the tristate area and excavation. We were sold on how good they were when Colin had our engineered drawings corrected because they were sufficient for the wind loads of our signage. Please save your money and just call the best before wasting your time with hours of unnecessary conversations.

We have been using Apex for decades now to pour our signage footers and foundations. If you are looking for top scale quality and professionalism I would just call them and not worry about getting quotes from anybody else. It always makes us laugh how effortless the team over there digs, pours, and builds the sign equipment we order. The best in the business.

This is my preferred team of contractors. I have so many projects and they always go over and beyond. Colin is knowledgeable in all areas of service and continues to exceed my expectations. Thank you for always providing great work.

Apex Construction LLC in Ross, OH is definitely not a company I will ever hire again. Colin Meinzer and his merry band of underachievers just stopped showing up for work and left our job completely unfinished. They won't return our calls and left our front yard a mess. They say they are "Cincinnati's Top Contracting Company" on their website, but that is laughable. Like many of the reviews here, our job started out fine. Colin was communicative and seemed trustworthy. He made us feel like we were a special project for him and that he really wanted us to be happy with the work. The quality of the work they did perform was pretty good for a while, but it got sloppier as they went. Initially, anything they got wrong, they either fixed, or promised they would fix by the time they were done. However, the completion date kept moving further and further out, and Colin even said he would refund us some money if it pushed out further. A few months beyond our original completion date, Colin and his team left the project abruptly and now won't return our calls. The odd thing is that the last day he was here, he was all smiles and said he'd see us the next week. After that, Apex Construction never showed up again and won't return our calls or messages. Definitely untrustworthy. Just really not worth a darn. He and his team are incredibly sub-par; really below average in terms of reliability. I've had unreliable contractors before (haven't we all), but this was a whole new level of unprofessionalism that I've never experienced. I would certainly NOT recommend Apex Construction LLC, and if you hire them, you're really rolling the dice on getting a completed job. They left a mess in the yard, a big mound of dirt that they promised they'd take care of, and incomplete work. Not just little stuff, but things like no railings on half of our porch and no gutters, which were all contracted. Railing posts that are installed are mounted about 5-10 degrees off. I don't even know how you can mount something that far off. None of our step treads are level either. These are all things we'll now have to find someone else to correct as they were done improperly by Colin Meinzer and Apex Construction LLC. Colin assured us we'd be happy with the work, and nothing would be a problem. He'd take care of everything, he said. Unfortunately he'll say anything to get you to trust him, even if it's a bold-faced lie. He has little to no integrity as far as I can tell, and he will say what you want to hear to make you feel comfortable enough to pay him. Thankfully we only paid him for phases of the project that were complete, but we will now have to pay someone else more than the budgeted last phase of the project to come in and cleanup his mess and fix the incorrect work he did. I would never recommend these con artists. They'll work on your project until they get someone else dangling some money in front of them and then they will leave you in the lurch.

Terrible experience. Project left unfinished despite payment in full. The entire bathroom is subjected to water damage as the silicone and caulking needs completely redone. We had our water heater serviced and the plumber made us aware the plumbing work was done improperly. Let Colin know and requested refunds for the plumbing work and the repairs plus cost of materials and labor to finish the project ourselves. He said he would refund us for the plumbing and other work, first by giving us a check for plumbing work then another to refund for the materials and labor in exchange for a positive review/deletion of a negative review. He gave us the money for plumbing but has gone back to ignoring us. Donâ t waste your money on something as valuable as your home.

I hired Apex Construction LLC to finish my larger basement. They were great to work with to make our vision come alive. What meant the world was there accommodations they made for our family constraints. Thank you for the high quality work and constant communication you offered my family. Highly recommend this team.

Colin and team was hired by my wife and I to remodel our master bathroom and spare bathroom. We found Colin through our realtor that we use for investment property's. After our first phone call he was responsive and came to our home with his project coordinator the next day. We were blown away by his customer testimony sheets and before & after pictures of his work. He did both bathrooms for us with no hidden costs or bs. His attention to detail and cleanliness was impeccable. We have recommended him to anybody who needs a contractor. I am so excited to be able to show off our large bathroom remodels. Colin was hired by us to dig a large foundation for our church advertisement sign. He dug and poured the foundation without our lawn being harmed in anyway. He installed all of the equipment and wired it to all specs. His work was top tier in my opinion. Now a days it is truly hard to find the type of installer/ excavator that he was for our familys church. What I enjoyed the most about hiring him was that he told us every part of the project in the best detail he could. We were never confused about what was going on from start to finish. Now we get to use our new sign to continue our churches legacy in our community with the help of Colin. God Bless

Collin, Logan, and team did a phenomenal job on our basement finishing/remodel. Their quality of work is top notch, and they were extremely respectful and flexible with our schedules and working from home. They were super clear and communicative, and provided an excellent service for a great price compared to competitive quotes we received. We could not be happier with how everything turned out. Our home was built 30+ years ago and the deck was built around the same time. After all those years our deck was beginning to be liability from a safety stand point. We hired Apex to structurally secure our old deck by installing new bracing and brackets. To bring our deck into the modern era we decided to use a trex composite decking from the flooring and aluminum/ composite hand rail. We chose Apex because of our initial free site survey. We felt that the man that came to do the quote for us truly cared about what he was doing for us. Our deck is very large and were worried about choosing a contractor after any different interviews. I highly recommend the team over at Apex you wont find more genuine people.

Built my 30x40 brick detached garage. Very happy with the end result. I have used many different local contractors at my home over years. I was never very happy with the manner they treated my house while on site. This group of young men gives me hope for the next generation of carpenters. I also cant thank you enough for making the donations to my grand daughters troop leadership program. God Bless

Apex was hired by our leadership team to remodel 12 bathrooms in total across 4 locations of our business. What can I say they showed up on time, were very organized about how to perform the tasks we asked , and most importantly communicated with us on every aspect of our bathroom remodels. I wish there was a way on this website to give them 6 stars for a review rating. The two men that came to my home to start the project were super polite and well mannered. They went straight to work after protecting my floors for the travel back in forth during the remodel in my upstairs master bathroom. They cleaned up better than I do everyday before leaving for the day. The finished product was just like the designer showed me during the staging portion of the job. They did a amazing job on my bathroom. I know that when y spare bath drive me nuts enough I will have them remodel it. I highly recommend the people at this company.

Our deck was constructed top notch from the ground up. We were very impressed by the guys knowledge of deck construction and what would be best for longevity. We chose Trex decking which is a high dollar endeavor so we wanted to be in the right hands during this process. We would recommend this company to anybody. If your looking for a considerate and detail oriented company look no further these are your guys.

We hired Colin in the spring of 2023 to completely remodel our two bathrooms, kitchen, and living room. We left the complete design up to there team because we are overwhelmed with the extent of how much had to be done. They brought in designers, and a blue print specialist to finalize all of the load bearing walls we were retrofitting. We felt like apart of there team because every design feature we would sign off on it before it would begin. We truly had a wonderful experience working with Apex. The rooms they remodeled are even more than we imagined and it is amazing to see our comments and vision come to life right in front of our eyes. Colin was at our project everyday making sure everything was running smoothly and would communicate with us every single day to keep us in the loop. All and all Apex was extremely up front about cost, time line, and anything we needed to upgrade. Our entire project went really well because of there high level of kindness and care. We would recommend this company to any others in search of a great company in our area. Thank you to all that help in this process. Our family is blessed to have such a nice place to call home now.

Our family hired Apex Construction to build a custom garage for our classic car collection. After almost a year of interviewing prospects for facilitating our large job we came to agreement to use Apex. We knew going into it that there would be alot of headaches and frustrations for something with this large of scope. But every hurdle that came we were put at ease because the professionals we hired exceeded our expectations we every turn of the project. Our garage was completed within budget and right on schedule for our large car meet. 2400 sqft is alot for a company to build without overages and they got it done. We now are in the process of having them remodel our master bathroom and cant be more thrilled to have them as our family contractor.

Apex remodeled our entire kitchen from top to bottom. Worked with us on design and spent hours with us to make sure we were comfortable with every aspect. We had no idea how many different options we had from colors, to grades of wood, and even the counter tops they have a supplier that hand crafted our top to our needs. Very impressed with there professionalism and always answered our calls/ emails. If you are out there looking for a quality contractor for an extremely fair price give these men a chance you wont be sorry!!

We hired Apex Construction to demolish our original 600 square ft deck attached to our home. We were struggling to find a reliable company that agreed to handle our construction needs for a fair price and in a timely manner. We were enthralled to have found such a friendly ran company to help us. We aren't much for design or construction so we were very happy that Apex was a huge help picking colors, design, and material selection. I highly recommend the boys over at Apex and will be using them in the future.

Were in and out of our house in 4 weeks finishing our 1600 square foot basement. Colin was a joy to work with from beginning to end. Apex took great care of our family home and we are super grateful for the quality of work and people that came to our home project. Would highly recommend this company to whom ever asks.

Colin and his team remodeled / built out our 2700 square foot basement. This buildout in our eyes was highly extensive from the large walk in shower to the custom bar designed by a family friend who is a interior designer. This team seemed to breeze through it in 4 weeks which was very surprising given the level of quality we received. We were quoted by several other companies and we choose Apex Construction because of there upfront costing and extreme professionalism. From the site survey to the final day we were happy with our choice. You truly just don't see Company's now a days treat there customers the way they treated us. I would recommend them to anyone.

We hired Colin at the beginning of spring 2023 for a kitchen and bathroom remodel. While the kitchen and bathroom needed fully gutted, both are of very small square footage. We had designed the kitchen however left the bathroom design in the hands of Colin. Everything started out great and Colin made it seem like he was going the extra mile for us and tried to be as personable as possible, albeit made misogynistic and racist remarks. I am not sure where things took a turn but once the true renovation started he and the crew were clearly burnt out on the project. The estimated date kept getting pushed back further and further, the bathroom getting no attention or progress despite all materials being readily available compared to the kitchen that we were waiting for cabinets and countertops, etc for. The entire bathroom is a huge disappointment and has been left incomplete after we made the mistake of trusting Colin enough to give him the final payment prior to finishing the project. When we picked out our kitchen countertop he instructed us to pick out a counter remnant for our bathroom vanity because the quality of the remnant would be much higher quality than one pre cut at Lowes or Home Depot. Months later we find out that he never got the remnant and made it sound as though it was not possible to use a remnant which was news to us. He had already gotten a vanity top which had pre drilled holes for the faucet, therefore we also could not get the faucet we wanted. It is clear he buys supplies in bulk and tries to steer you in that direction so he does not have to make a special purchase even if that is what you want. Our bathroom was his design in full however he failed to measure the space out properly and placed built in cabinets too close to the toilet, preventing the addition of cabinet doors (it was clear the doors are a must) as well as made a laundry chute that is a complete eyesore and unfinished. It is now nearly November and Colin refuses to return our calls and texts, making it clear he has no intention to finish the bathroom. All other work completed is extremely sloppy and looks like an amateur watched a few YouTube videos to diy a project rather a professional contractor. We definitely put too much trust in this company and in Colin. We are not the only ones considering the last review claims to follow a legal pursuit after a similar situation of being ignored. Also, Colin admitted that he was being sued by a different client/tenant of his rental property. No shocker that this company is facing multiple lawsuits and will surely face more in the future.

I hired Cullen to do some work on my garage door. I paid him over $5000 which was 1/3 of my estimate. After he cashed my check, I have not heard from him. It has been over a month since the project was supposed to start. He has not shown up, he will not return my phone calls,. I am seeking an attorney to sue him in court for my deposit.

Colin and his team removed the top level of a two level bar in our kitchen, and they installed a new sink and granite countertops all around. They were professional, friendly, responsive to our calls, and we were extremely pleased with the quality of their work. Their pricing was fair and we felt like we definitely got our moneyâ s worth. We will be calling them for any future projects we might have. Highly recommend.

The quality of service and customer interaction was fantastic... Colin, Nick, Logan and the crew are a great team and took great care of my family and home... highly recommend.
