Jeff and his crew were timely and professional. They completed the work on time and with little to no interruption to our family. When I had a question about something, he personally came out to look at what I was asking about.

They have very good workmanship. The guy that came out was detailed oriented making sure that we were satisfied with the work he did at the time. It's a beautiful deck. A couple of weeks after that there were some issues and he came out and fix it with no problem. We have our home on the market and I was trying to get some repairs done on the deck and I have been contacting them for repairs and they have not. They have only returned one call and he has not returned any of my 20 some calls and I have pretty much move on.

I had 4 bids on this job. While TruExteriors (owner is Jeff) was not the lowest, they matched the lowest bid. As I had used them previously on the roof installation, I decided to go with them for the fence.
Jeff walked me thru the entire process and kept me involved. He listened to my ideas of where I wanted the fence to run and had suggestions that actually turned out better. My lawn care guy needed a certain size gate to get his equipment in. Jeff's way of doing it was much more efficient and looks better than the other way would have. He explained how long it would take and what they would be doing each day of the project.
They arrived on time and got right to work. Everything went well. They cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day. We had a terrible storm one day and they made sure to come and cover everything. The fence was finished on time. And it's fantastic (I also had them stain it for only $250 extra...well worth it to me!)
TruExteriors does a lot of other things besides fences and roofs. I also used them to install a front door, repair the wood around and below the door and put in a storm door. They were about $500 less than the next bid on that.
I will definitely use them in the future. I'm surprised they don't have a huge presence on Angie's LIst. They do great work.

The conventional companies we have contacted seem to be limited in the kinds of jobs they will do. If your needs cannot be made to fit what they provide, they are not interested, Jeff, on the other hand, likes a challenge and likes learning new things and coming up with good ideas to solve the inevitable problems that come up when working on an old house. His attention to our needs due to allergies and sensitivities is remarkable and so appreciated!
When he discovered that major digging would need to be done, Jeff only charged us an additonal $800. This was for three people digging by hand in a 24 inch space all day! They also filled one huge flatbed trailer with dirt that they carried away, and two more with debris! Believe me, there is no way I would have done this job for what Jeff charged! It was a nasty nasty job, but we really needed it to be done and we are endlessly grateful that he and his crew - nice guys all - were willing to take it on!
The siding job was done in a couple of days. The crawl space job took four days of work - with two days in between for the Benefect to dry prior to the BIN sealer being applied.
NOTE: This is really TWO reviews in one! The format does not allow me to put in TWO dates; the siding work was done in May 2011 for $2205 and the crawl space work was done in May 2012 for $4000.

The overall experience with the company was good. There were issues so they came back and resolved them in a timely manner. They were quick to listen.

Called Jeff 4:35 on Friday. From my description of what we needed, his over-the-phone quote was $250, although he said that he could give a more accurate quote once he took a look. He was at my house in ten minutes to look at what we needed! (Luckily, he was nearby when I called.) He said he could do the work and probably could save us some money because he believed he had the aluminum pieces he'd need in his shop. Also that he could do the work the next day if we wanted. Just to call and let him know. We left him a phone message on Saturday morning and he called back shortly thereafter and said he could be here within the hour - which he was. He said the job would take no longer than an hour and he answered all our questions about what he planned to do...and he was done in about an hour. The trim looks good. We had two windows trimmed out two years ago and had to wait two months for someone to come out since people who know how to do aluminum siding work seem to be a dying breed, so we were elated not only with the quality of Jeff's work but the speed with which he got it done. Jeff was very personable, helpful, informative, and listened to and addressed our concerns very well.

They were timely and responsive! Great to work with! Quality work, quality people! Responded quickly to our phone call. They met with us very quickly for their estimate. After the adjusters came out, Castle was there soon after. Once we signed the check over, they stated delivering the materials the next day. Amazingly efficient! Our roof was done in about a day and they also fixed our siding. All I can say is THANK YOU to Castle!

This company did exactly as the owner had promised, a rare occurrence in this day and age. Thanks, Jeff!

The quality was excellent. We are going to use him again on our new home. He was good all around. It was well priced, and he was very trustworthy.

Jeff took ownership of the project and followed through. I am a home improvement contractor and I have referred Jeff to my customers. He hasn't let me down. Now that I've written this Jeff will probably be too busy to do the rest of my house and my office.
