Description of Work: I belonged to this gym before I moved to Lancaster, OH. I liked it but not a lot of bells and whistles.

+ -1 moreLOVE this gym!! It's very much like "Average Joe's" from Dodgeball, but the quality and price can't be beat! The classes are included with a very reasonable membership as well as tanning and use of all their equipment. I pay about $20 a month and everything is included! If you're looking for a place to work out without being intimidated or self-conscience, this is a great place. Your membership also gets you in to their other locations which offer additional classes and services. I looked hard for the right gym and am glad I've picked this one. By the way, their classes are awesome. Everyone's really supportive and it's very easy to just be yourself, not matter your size, shape, weight, whatever. Everyone's there to get healthy and have fun and that's all that matters.

Description of Work: Aspen is an utterly horrible gym to work with. My wife was initially able to sign both of us up for the $10 a month program. I went to the Lewis Center location for about 3 months, all the while being told that the TVs would be installed next week. The equipment is all stacked on top of each other and if there are more than a few people working out at once it's impossible to get on the equipment. When we finally decided to cancel they would not let my wife cancel for me even though she signed me up. They then antagonized her and forced her to go through the cancelation paperwork twice. A horrible company to do business with. Never again.

+ -1 moreI really enjoy Aspen Fitness Clubs . It has a lot of machines to choose from. The staff is very professional and polite. The membership is very reasonably priced. The club is very clean and well maintained. Sometimes I utilize the classes and they are extremely effective. I am very pleased with the club overall. I would and have recommended their services.

+ 0 moreThe add was the classic bait and switch. If they were deceptive on that I can’t trust them on other things or with my credit card number.
Description of Work: I got an add from Aspin Fitness Center advertising I could join the gym for a $10 enrollment fee and $10.00 per month. Actually it cost $80.00 to join because of a hidden, "Processing Fee." Also there are long term commitments. For example if you are ill or injured you can't just quite for a month or two you have to bring in a doctor’s note.
