The furniture was delivered to our home. The delivery crew smashed the window on our screen door. We had to have it replaced. After a few days, we realized that this was not the high quality furniture we sat on in the store. This furniture had no support and you felt like you were sitting on the floor. I called the store and they said we handle all service requests thru US Quality Furniture. We called and made an appt with them to come see our furntiure. We could not get an appt. until May 1st. The man came out to the house and said," it really does go down far doesn't it." Once we left, we heard nothing from Ashley furniture. We once again called the store and found out that the service person had written that there was nothing wrong with the furniture, we just needed to change the position of the cushions more often...what ? So we called and I told them I wanted my money back or to be allowed to come in and get something else. I was told to talk to the manager who wasn't in at the time. After no response from the store, we went into the store. The manager told us what the service person had said. I told her that is unacceptable. She said they could replace the cushions. I asked if they could guarantee the quality of the cushions. How do I know that I would be getting better cushions. She said she could not guarantee that. I told her that I would rather get my money back or trade for another piece of furntiture. She then told me that Ashley will be upgrading their cushions and bases to a better quality. I was then told that she did not have authority to do anything else and would contact her supervisor, then she would call me on Tuesday....Surprise - Surprise -- its Wednesday and I still did not hear from her. So I called the store and was told that the manager was unable to come in on Tuesday. I said, couldn't she have asked someone else to call me. She admitted that she probably could have. She told me to call the service dept. I told her I already had gone that route. SO HERE WE ARE 4 MONTHS LATER WITH TERRIBLE FURNITURE. STILL TRYING TO RESOLVE THIS!! I have pictures that show someone sitting on one cushion and there is a large difference between the other cushions because you sink so far down.
