The project was completed on time and Jim showed up ahead of schedule each day.

I hired Jim off Angi list to remodel two bathrooms. One was to replace a shower tub combo and in our kid's bathroom and the other was to replace a shower in our master bath. Both jobs turned out amazing, better than our expectations. I include pictures so you can see the detail and expertise he did with both jobs. I was so pleased he did several other jobs that I have been wanting to do as well. I would highly recommend his work and his professionalism. I hope this helps you make your decision to use this company. If you need a recommendation, I will gladly answer any questions or concerns. We have several other projects I am looking to have done by Jim as well.

I have never had a contractor that paid so much attention to detail! He was very thorough with his work! He alerted me to more problems from in and out of the house that pertained to our kitchen remodel! Jim was very professional and understanding about our budget! Jim and his team did a good job on our tiled shower/tub combo project. While the shower is not the work of a perfectionist, communication, integrity and hard work are clear strengths of this team. Jim has good ideas and knows what he’s talking about. His experience made this project easy to conceive and understand from a client’s perspective. Thanks Jim, for your work on our bathroom!

We hired 911 Handyman after requesting a quote via Angi. Our initial conversation with Jim Lininger included details of what materials we had already purchased ourselves…tile, grout, shower niches and a new exhaust fan that we asked he install. We also asked him to repair a damaged area near the shower. He agreed to everything and gave us a quote of $6500-7000 plus materials. After a total price tag of nearly $8000, we’re left with a non-plumb tiled wall edge right next to the plumb shower frame. When I first pointed it out, Jim blamed our wall for being "crooked". When I commented a second time, he didn't say anything. The damaged area continues to have a large hole in it, although he told me it was fixed. The exhaust fan was never installed. Near the middle of the remodel period, Jim informed us he would have someone else do it. On the last day, he told me WE would need to pay that person separately...an additional $100-200. Instead, we just installed it ourselves. There continues to be a full Bagster on our sidewalk, which we must now pay an additional $200 (give or take) to have it picked up. After the job was done/check written, we texted Jim to ask about it. His response: “… why would I pay for your garbage.” Positives: Jim was a really nice guy, as were his workers, and I wanted to be able to give him an excellent review. They always showed up when they said they would, and texted if they were going to be late. Other Negatives: NO CONTRACT! In this case, this was a big lesson learned on our part. Also, they do not accept credit cards…which wouldn’t have been a big deal had we known upfront.

Main concern was a leak in the shower pipe and tiles around the bath tub. Requested new pipes be installed. I don't believe that was done. Had to come fix twice, when it should have been the first thing fixed. After the bathroom was "done", had someone else come install new pipes and caulk around tub. Will still need to re-paint tub due to gouging from tiles taken down during fixes. A five day redo took 4 weeks - three days in hotel. We liked Jim and thought he would be the best based on his comments and price. Very disappointed in the bathtub area - the other areas look good.

Jim did a great job installing our freestanding bathtub. He was able to cut a hole in the floor smaller than we originally expected, and get the plumbing hooked up without needing additional damage to our tiles. He finished the entire job in one day which was impressive. We ran into a minor issue with the faucet leaking after Jim had left. When I called him he was kind enough to immediately come back. We discovered it was due to a defective water line connection supplied by the manufacturer. He then made a trip to HomeDepot to get new parts and had the issue resolved within a little over an hour! That's world class service right there, most companies would say 'Sorry, we'll come back tomorrow'. We have a toddler and having to leave our water shut off overnight would have been a huge pain. Jim was very professional and easy to get along with throughout the whole process. I would absolutely hire him again.

They cleaned up very well leaving no mess for me, were very courteous and professional. I will recommend and use them, again.
