As we began this season we have implemented a couple new processes in our company and a couple people into newer roles as they continue to grow their skills. Unfortunately we made several mistakes in these new processes to cause this issue. In lawn care services there are enough variables that we cannot control due to weather, pests and diseases, therefore we do all we can to avoid preventable mistakes, sadly that did not happen here. "Thank you very much for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied. When looking through your account, I see that each year since 2014, we have treated the property for you with fewer treatments than we typically recommend to our customers. The program that we have applied for you is named our "DIY program". The program is intended to supplement the treatments that a customer is applying on their own; rather than as a stand-alone program. It can be very difficult to improve the condition of the lawn when it receives less nutrients than it truly needs. This is why we recommend a consistent program of visits spaced out every six-eight weeks throughout the growing season. This recommendation is relatively standard in the lawn care industry. We make an effort to detail all of our correspondence history to make sure we have notes to refer back to. In looking through this history, I see that our "proven program" has been recommended for these very reasons on a number of occasions throughout the past few seasons (3/21/2015, 2/9/2016, 7/27/2016, 1/23/2017, 2/18/2017). While I am sorry to hear that you feel as if we are trying to sell you more services than you need, I can assure you that this is not the case. Our goal is to deliver realistic expectations and pride ourselves on the ability to follow through on our promises. Having said this, our message has remained consistent - with a partial program, we can guarantee no more than partial results. I sincerely apologize if our most recent interaction came across as rude. Our intention is to provide realistic expectations for each and every one of our customers. Our recommendation of six visits throughout the season is based on what we have found to work best throughout our past 45+ years of experience in the lawn care industry.
