They were out and performed services exactly as described. Just wish it were a little less expensive.

They did a very good job the first time I used them (June 2014). I tried calling them back this year (2016) to hire them again but always went to voicemail. So I emailed them and left a voice mail message with my address and contact information and never received any reply. I find it ironic that they sent me 2 pieces of mail advertising their services and yet cannot return a phone call or reply to an email. So they lost my business.

The workmanship was wonderful. The teams arrived and completed their work quickly and professionally. The only complaint I had was the limited communication that occurred. With all the time the teams were working I had to take time off from work. The concrete work was done in two parts. That was not communicated to me so when the concrete tear out happened and no one returned to finish the job I had to call to find out what was happening. I was told the pouring of the concrete would happen the next day. I do not understand why either the tear out team could not tell me or the account manager could not tell me. The next day the concrete was poured. When it came time for the asphalt, I was waiting again as the asphalt team did not arrive until later in the day. That was not communicated to me and when they did show up I could have worked a half day and then come home. When I called the company I was told that another job was scheduled for earlier that day. If this was already known, I wish I would have been told so I could have planned my day better. I did talk to the account manager about my concerns and he said he would take care of it. Even knowing all of this I would still do business with AmeriCoat again as the driveway work was done wonderfully. I now know to ask better questions next time.

Americoat called me in April 2016 to schedule driveway seal coat service at my home. I said OK. In the past 5 months since April, this company cancelled 4 scheduled appointments to provide the service citing weather as the reason. However, not one day that they cancelled did it rain. I feel totally jacked around by Americaot and frankly wonder how they remain in business.. Probably my worst experience with a contractor in my 35 years as a homeowner. My advice....STAY AWAY!

prompt polite and professional on arrival.  absent the damage to my home it would have been a B or B+ job...not an A given they hot mopped some gravel from off the driveway back on to driveway and left it....mopped 2nd coat over it so now gravel chunks glued to prior smooth driveway...but as these kind of providers go......was a B.

EXCEPT...even though I talked to crew before they started and told them on site that I was home and to ring doorbell if any issues...AND that the home office has my cell phone number....AND they splashed an 8' wide by 2' high swath of black tar across my light stone colored NEW garage door AND across my immaculate faux stone front of house while hot mopping...which they 100% would have seen and known given that is the direction they were facing and when hot mopping tar 6" from a garage door and zero inches from stone front of house...one would be looking at it and going slow and careful...right?  no doorbell ran, no phone call now half a day later.

I called the company main number, I emailed them....nobody has called me so far.  They are responsible to clean it all off with a color safe cleaner to not damage vinyl garage door and not to damage faux stone front of house.....my house is for sale, being shown in 3 days and now looks bad....so damages need fixed today or tomorrow.

Must be something they have encountered before and they must have a 'call joe' protocol when this type damage occurs for immediate fix/cleaning.....so far zero response but I will keep calling.  I will update this with result but for now..do not use them.

Well they had a problem with their truck it broke down in front of our home and it took a while before the company to get somebody out there to dig the poor gentleman out, the person who was doing the drive way it was really  not his fault, it's just the company didn't have a way to get out  their immediately and they didn't send anyone for the job to get finish so they had to come back and finish it, so instead of being a simple one time in the afternoon kind of deal it was two days.

Our driveway was the last one installed. I don't know if they were too tired or the asphalt got too cool, but our driveway is not leveled. There are areas that are slightly higher than other areas and they shouldn't be. After first winter the driveway had cracks - we sealed it over the summer. I first contacted the company last November and asked them to take a look at the cracks. I spoke with the representative who said that somebody will come out within a week and will do an evaluation. I have not heard from them for several months. I called at least three times and left messages but nobody got back to me.
In the spring of this year I received an e-mail asking me to leave a feedback on this site. I replied to that e-mail stating that I had an issue and I have not been able to get anybody to get back to me. I got a phone call with apologies and I was assured that they will speak with a manger. It took another several weeks and me sending e-mails and making phone calls until finally one of the technicians called me and explained that there is nothing wrong with my driveway. The cracks are just the way it settles and I shouldn't compare my driveway to my neighbors (none of the other three driveways have the same large cracks that I have and their driveways are much better leveled). He said that  basically I need to keep sealing it with a double coat and give him a call when I am ready to do that.

Service had always been good. Several of my neighbors have switched to Americoat because they could see the difference in the quality. Price very competitive too.

They don't try to up-sell things you don't need. For example, I've asked before if I need a double coat and they generally say no.

I did get a double coat a few years ago and was impressed. The apply one coat and leave. After several hours (or the next day or two) they return to apply the second coat.

I called their office in late October to have our driveway sealed. Typically, our driveway is sealed by this company earlier in the season.  Due to a small house fire, the application was put off for several months. The person I called said they could come out the next day and still offer me the neighborhood discount.

I've been using Americoat for many (7-8?) years and they always do a great job.  Their phone staff is very friendly and courteous as well.  I plan to continue using them for my annual driveway sealing.

I've used American for a number of years. As a result when my neiibor did not he had to repave, and while min show some wear it is a long way from needing to be repaved. I appreciate that they contact me early each year to schedule, so I don't forget.

In my entire life I've never experienced such all-around poor service as I did recently with Americoat, a company I've hired 5-6 times since 2004. If you wanted to develop a model on how not to run a business, start with Americoat and you 'll be fully satisfied with the result.
10/12/2015:  The worker came in afternoon towards the end of the day, as requested, and without cleaning the driveway or trimming the edge, which is what's been done in the past and the standard procedure as told to me later by others from this company, he put one coat on the driveway. Later he went across the street to do a neighbor's driveway, and then later he put up the posts and tape and signs to block off the end of the driveway, a sure sign that he believed he'd finished the job. Then he left. My wife was home and witnessed all of the above.
10/16/2015: I inspected the driveway and saw many areas--10 or more--where the coating didn't cover the driveway. In addition, there were many areas where the coating was so thin you could see the discolored old surface beneath it.
10/17 & 10/18/2015: I sent emails with photos to the company's website email address. The photos showed several spots with bad coverage and several areas where, for no additional charge, the worked applied sealant to cinderblock and garage wood trim several inches above the driveway surface. In both messages I requested the company to contact me.
10/22/2015: I called the company, was unable to speak with anyone and left a message about the above.
10/27/2015: I received what was called a "routine" follow up call from Americoat to ask if I was satisfied with the 10/12 service. The caller claimed he had no idea about the matter described above, the information sent to the email, the message left, etc. I explained every detail including the damage. He agreed to send over the repair team on 10/30 to fix the problems.
10/30/2015: The repair team arrived and immediately said, "We're hear to do the 2nd Coat". After handing me a bill dated that day, one of them claimed to have no knowledge of all of the problems related above. In addition, I was told the company would be able to repair the damage done to my cinderblock and trim, but arrangements would have to be made with that team -- and they would not be able to do the 2nd coat until those repairs were arranged and completed. Annoyed, I refused to allow them to repair the damage and told them to do the 2nd coat. I also told them I expected to get a call from the management so we could discuss the damage and bill.
After telling me that the first worker had coated debris and not trimmed the edge, these two edge trimmed, cleaned off debris and put down one coat. Before leaving they told me they spoke with their manager and were told to take photos and tell me I would get a call from someone as I requested. They finished the job and left, and later someone came by and appeared to inspect the work.
I paid my bill seeing value in never having anything to do with this company again. Today is 11/13/2015 and I'm still waiting for someone to call me. Of course, I never really expected anyone would.
So, remember -
If you want to spend 18 days getting your driveway sealed, hire this company.
If you want to contact a customer service desk by voicemail to get no response, hire this company.
If you want to send photographic details about poor service to an email address listed on a website as a way to contact the  company and which will be unknown to anyone you will later  speak with, hire this  company.
If you want to receive phone calls following up on service from people who have no clue about your past complaints, hire this
 company.
If you want driveway sealant applied to your cinderblock wall and garage door trim, for no charge, hire this company.
If you want to delay getting the original service completed 18 days later so you can first get the damage repaired, hire this  company - but be sure not to tell them about the damage or send them photos of it so it can be repaired expeditiously and
 conveniently.
