About us

We are a full service company that has served all of the Columbus area since 2001. There are no jobs that are too big, or too small. We take pride in our quality workmanship while maintaining a clean working environment during all of our projects. Our estimates are priced by square footage and include all paint and materials. The only thing that homeowners are required to do is choose their colors. It’s that easy! We treat all of our clients, and their homes, with the utmost of respect. I explain the entire project from beginning to end so that the homeowner has no surprises. We are a very small company, are fully insured, and never sub-contract any of our work. Every job is different and requires a different approach, but the one thing that is consistent with each job, is customer satisfaction. This we guarantee! During the warmer months of the year, I offer exterior painting, deck staining, and power washing services, as well. Give us a call to schedule today!

I had Tingle Painting come and paint all baseboards, doors, stairs trim, fireplace from wood to white....Dave and Ray were extremely accomodating and did a fabulous job. They moved furniture and replaced. Cleaned up daily, Very professional and excellent workmanship. I would highly recommend and will use them again. Sammy my cat liked them too. Their pricing was very very reasonable, free quotes, you won't be disappointed!

Everything about working with Dave was a pleasure.   He is very responsive and professional. When I e-mailed him, he got back with me the same day and we made arrangements right away for him to come and do a quote. 
His price was reasonable so we scheduled a date for him to begin the job.   Eventhough he works alone, he still manages to get the job done in a reasonable amount of time.  Dave is quite personable and easy to get to know as well.  He sincerely wants to do a good job for the customer and it shows in his work.  I would most definitely recommend Tingle Painting to anyone needing painting done.

Dave was such a pleasure to work with from start to finish.   He was very professional and respectful of my home and belongings the entire time he was there.   The quality of his work is superior.   He works alone and therefore the job may take a little longer than some other painting contractors, but I assure you the finished product is as good or better than any other.

I've hired professional painters in the past, but none have done quite the job, at such a reasonable price as Tingle Painting.

Dave was extremely professional and easy to work with. I had received his name from a friend who had used him before. He came out to give us an estimate. We decided to do a small portion of the work he estimated, and he was able to quickly do the painting job in one day the next week. I would definitely use him again in the future. My only regret is that I don't have the budget for him to do my whole house!

Tingle painting did an excellent job, arrived on time and the paint perfectly matched the color we requested.  Now we can wash the walls in the kitchen and dining room if spills occur in those areas and the paint gets dirty, which happens with us having four dogs.  The job was done quickly and there wasn't much inconvenience to the access to the back yard where the dogs needed to be let out into.  I would definitely use Tingle painting again for future painting needs in our home.

Dave Tingle painted my two-story foyer and upstairs hallway.  From my initial telephone call to Dave requesting that he come to my home for an estimate to the end of the painting job, Dave was friendly, professional and engaging.  His work ethic is supreme; he showed up when he said he would and worked a full day.  The quality of his work is meticulous.  I asked Dave to also remove medicine cabinets from two of the bathrooms in my home and replace/repair the drywall.   Within the next two years, I will need the exterior trim of my home painted and I will hire Dave for that job.

Dave was prompt to respond by phone messages and e-mails.  He arrived on time for both giving an estimate and actually doing the work.  He did the work quickly and to our satisfaction.  He was neat, careful, and was very good to ask questions before and during the work about how we wanted it done.  He offered helpful suggestions.  The room was left in order with furniture in place.  He left the remaining paint for us.  Dave is also very friendly.  He gave an estimate of how long the work would take and completed it prior to his time limit.  I would use him again and recommend him to friends.

Dave Tingle first came out to our home to measure and look at what we needed to have done.  He promptly sent us an itemized quote on e-mail.  He certainly had a lot of jobs already lined up, but he came highly recommended by our remodeler, so we were willing to wait a few weeks for his services.  He scheduled us for three days, starting Monday morning, August 12th.  He came promptly at 8:15 A.M. and worked until around 3 P.M. each day.  He provided  the stain and poly.  We had given him a piece of our trim, and he precisely matched the stain to our wood flooring.   What a professional job he did!  His touch-up of the cut-ins along the ceiling was crisp and precise.  We love the beautiful stain on our new doors and window trim.  All-in-all, it was a pleasure to have him finish our new kitchen.  We've already asked him for a quote on our next job!

As always, Dave emailed ahead to confirm the date and time that he will arrive.  He arrived when scheduled, and painted the area as contracted.  He carefully covered the brick floor and furniture was very careful when moving furniture.  He did a very neat job painting and cutting in all the corners around the window trim.  He works very quietly and you would hardly know he is around.  At the end of each day, he places drop cloths, paint cans, ladders, etc in a corner or along a wall so they are out of the way in case we want to use the area.   He has done several jobs for us and we trust him enough to leave the house while he is working.  The job took a little longer than heanticipated.  However, he did not charge extra but instead apologized for taking a bit longer than expected.    We have recommended him to several friends and he has never let us down.  I would definitely use him again for future projects.
