Jason at Northfield took my call, gave me an estimate over the phone, scheduled me in for same day service and, when I got there, had the work completed in 2 hours so I could get going again. On top of it, they gave me a 12 month, 12,000 mile warranty on the job as well as free roadside assistance card

They are very fair. They don't recommend repairs that don't need to be done.

They have what I call like a membership club or something. So, you are entitled to some free services occasionally like a free oil change or something. I just take the car there and pick it up. My interaction with them has been wonderful. They are very customer-service oriented. They complete the work promptly. Their price is average. I do not feel like they are gouging you.

He's absolutely someone you can trust. They did a great job. We buy all our tires there. They have the best tires at the best prices. No one's close. I would absolutely recommend them to others.

We trust them. We had a truck that needed a tie rod that was going bad and that it would need to be replaced. It did not need to be replace right away. I will use them again.

They needed 4 hours to complete a 2 hour front brake job.  They told me that the wrong part was received, but they didn't assign responsibility (blame).  How can you order the wrong part when you have the car and, of course, the VIN?
I received a 10% percent for the long delay but that wasn't much for the hours I wasted.

I called several tire shops to discuss price and brands. Steve at Northfield tire was the most helpful in talking me through the various brands/models he would recommend and giving reasons why. I did some more research on my own and decided his choice would be the best for us. I scheduled an appointment and took the car in for the installation. I left the car there all day, the called when it was ready, and we picked it up. Tires are great, no problems so far.

We have been taking our car there for a couple of years. They have been in business for a long time. They do a great job maintenance, and go extremely far above and beyond expectations for customer service.

Excellent.  Called and spoke to a service rep and he helped me find the best tire for my car.  Made the appt and went in for the service.  I waited in their showroom until they were done.

My overall scores noted above are based on multiple expiences with this provider. I have had purchased my tires here about a year earlier and was amazed that they were able to provide me with a name brand set of tires with road hazard for less than I could buy them on the internet!

On my recent visit I had my oil changed, tires rotated and a diagnostic check because my check engine light was on. With respect to the services provided, one of my tires was actually not put on all the way. Fortunately I was aware that something was not right and brought it back the next day. No damages were caused, but it is scary to think my wheel could have come off while I was driving with my family in the car.

Additionally the diagnostic check found that a sensor was bad which controls the flow of air. I was quoted $180.00 to replace this sensor. Because I am somewhat mechanically inclined I called the Ford Dealer and found out I could buy the part for $36.00. I opted to replace it myself. The sensor sat on top of the engine and to me less than 5 minutes start to finish to replace.

I would definately return to this retailer for tires and general service. But take caution when it comes to other repairs. The mark ups may be resonable for the auto industry, but seem high.

I had alignment, oil change, and some other work done that was suggested. I left the car and went back that evening to pick the car up. Before I had the alignment done the car would pull to the left. The car was still pulling to the left when I picked it up. They also did some work on the suspension which I approved. When I took the car in the engine was also running rough. They never mentioned that to me. Instead a lot of other items were brought to my attention instead. Among those items I was told that it needed a new battery. I later took it to a place that specializes in batteries where I was told the battery was ok. I took the car back about a week later to have the alignment addressed and it was realized that a tire that had a leak was causing the car to pull left. I had them repair the tire and that did correct the problem along with them rotating the tires. They were nice enough to take a coupon that I found later after having the initial work done that took off an additional ten dollars.

Needed new tires for a 1981 Mercedes 300D. They were knowledgeable and made a recommendation for good, all-season tires. We purchased 2 tires. They quote a price per tire that is inclusive of all mounting, balancing and disposal fees, so you are quoted the final price per tire and the only additional charge at checkout is sales tax. Included in their quoted price for tires is a 3 year road hazard insurance and free lifetime balance and tire rotation.

Called for the size of tire that I needed and they had them in house in 3 hours. Went to store and had them mounted and all problems explained (bent rim, not their fault) and out the door in less than an hour for $100.00 less than anyone else.

After searching Angies list and the web (for prices) I called 2 area tire dealers. Northfield Tire offered the best price as well as a rebate and had the best Angies List rating. My Initial call was answered quickly, the tires were located and ordered for the next day. Installation took approxamatly 45 minutes.

The initial phone call was good. The person I spoke to recommended some great tires. I also told him I wanted the oil change, brakes checked and alignment. I dropped the car off on a Thursday evening during business hours. When I dropped it off, the sheet that had been prepared over the phone didn't include anything but the tires - so I had to re-list all the services I wanted done. I don't know if I didn't re-tell the guy at the desk that I wanted an alignment or if he just ignored it, but I ended up not getting an alignment (everything else was done). This didn't make me happy because now I have to make another appointment and drop my car off for another day just to have that done. It seems like there's a lack of communication between the folks working at the desk.

We dropped the car off after the battery died and someone had to jump the battery. They confirmed the problem was the battery and replaced the battery and fixed our hood latch. They called me with an estimate to approve and had the car done the same day as they promised.

This is an exceptional company. They are very honest. I recently took my car in thinking it needed a tune up and they called me back and told me that all it needed was 2 spark plugs changed. They only do things that are needed and are very honest, I have recommended them to my family and they have had a good experience as well.

I called at 7AM on Saturday to see if I could get the brakes done that day and still be able to get to my appointments. When I got there around 7:30AM there were already a number of customers whose vehicles they were already working on, but my car was still in at 7:26am and out at 9:51am. When the mechanic talked to me to let me know what they had found, he gave a good explanation about the status of the brakes and also told me how much wear the front brakes had, which he said didn't need to be replaced at this time. I don't know too much about prices, but when I had the same work done a few years ago at a dealership, it cost $300.28, so I think the price was pretty good. Everyone was pleasant and helpful.

ON TIME, WITHIN OR BELOW ESTIMATE, EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION AND EXPERTISE. FULL GUARANTEE ON NON-OEM PARTS, TOLD ME THEY COULD PROVIDE EITHER, BUT THAT THEY HAD NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEM WITH THE GENERIC. SAVED ME ABOUT $100. I HAVE USED THIS COMPANY FOR TIRES, BRAKES, AND EXHAUST (AND SOME MISCELLANEOUS LITTLE STUFF) AND HAVE BEEN ABSOLUTELY THRILLED EVERY TIME WITH THE LEVEL OF SERVICE AND THE PRICES. WHEN YOU BUY TIRES, THE PRICE INCLUDES ALL THE ''EXTRAS'' INCLUDING FREE ROTATIONS. GREAT EXPERIENCE AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.
