Mark's Appliance Service

Mark was very responsive. He returned my phone call within 30 minutes. He took the time to explain a few things I could try to clear the drain line myself to avoid a service call. I wasn't able to clear the line, so I set up an appointment with him. He arrived on time and quickly fixed the drain line. He cleaned up after himself. I was very please with this experience. I will definitely use him again.

He came soon after calling & was very professional, repaired machine and gave me tip helpful tips too. I would Absolutely tell everyone who needs repairs to call Mark .

It's an old but reliable washer and working like a charm again

I called Mark on 1/3/17 for an ice maker that wasn't functioning, and we set an appointment for the next day. After looking at it he said he would need to replace a part and he would call with the cost. On 1/13 I left a message. He left a message back in which he asked what type of refrigerator it was (sounding like he forgot that he already looked at it). I returned his call and left another message. As of 2/8 he has yet to return the call. I assume he isn't interested in doing the work. I have to find someone else.

There was no gas to one of my Thermador  gas top burners.  He had me turn it on and light it with a match and the thing worked.  It hasn't worked in years and it may have fixed itself but he could have come out and charged me to 'fix' it.

My disposal didn't work and I explained it was like there was no power to it, no grinding noise.  I had used the 'key' and turned it and that did not help.  Over the phone he told me about the reset button.  He said if it clicks when pushed in, try it and that fixed it.  He did say if it keeps needing to be reset, I may need a new disposal.

Mark's came highly recommended from a friend and I would tell everyone to call Mark's.  The call lasted under one minute and both of my problems were fixed at no charge.   Call Mark's of Northfield for service.

They were a good company but I I didn?t use them because I got a better estimate from a different company. They were very responsive.

Came when he said he would-told me what was wrong how much it would cost went straight to work.

Great, he arrived on time, diagnosed the problem as the pump was jammed by some fleece stuffing, and removed it. Machine working fine, and he made recommendations for using a lower sudsing detergent

I called Mark because the dishwasher was running but was not performing well (soap did not dissolve). I had previously hired someone from a different company for the same problem, but could not get them this time. It turns out it is a good thing I didn't because Mark was excellent and he diagnosed the problem to be that the previous person did not put the dishwasher back together correctly. He was very quick to respond to my call, was punctual, polite, extremely knowledgeable and skilled. Dishwasher is working great now, and he charged less than the previous people did. Highly recommend!

Mark is a very knowledgeable and courteous professional. He was very helpful to me. He was here at my door at the time he said he would. He identified the problem during our conversation on the phone and fixed it with no added issues.

Mark was the consummate professional. We never got the impression he was just trying to make money. He was trying to fix our problem and keep the cost as low as possible. I would definitely suggest Mark to anyone that needs service on their appliances.

Mark was able to schedule an appointment for the day after I telephoned. He called me to let me know before he came to ensure I was home. He was able to diagnose and correct the problem within 1/2 hour. Because it could have been another issue, he left a bill with me and told me to use the dryer for a few loads of laundry. If the dryer was working well (which it was), I was to send him the check; otherwise, I was to call him so that he could return to my home.

We called and he returned the call the next day which was perfectly acceptable to us because we were not in a hurry to get the job completed.  He set up an acceptable time for both of us and came at the agreed to time.  He was very knowledgeable about the equipment and the typical problems which made troubleshooting very simple for him.  He had the part on the truck/van and the entire job took about 15-20 minutes from start to finish.  The price was very reasonable.  He also waited for me to clean the portion of the oven that he exposed doing the job.  He was very patient  while waiting.  He took the time to write up the invoice so he did not waste any time what so ever.  He did advise on some simple things to do to keep the appliance in good operating shape and a surge protector that protects the "computer" board.  He does not sell the protectors, so it seemed to be an honest attempt to protect the consumer and the equipment.
