When my 17 year old Maytag washer started making the noise of doom I chose Mark's Appliance Service based strictly on his reviews, not where he fell in the list of available service providers, and he didn't disappoint! First off, he assured me there'd be no charge for a service call if I decided to buy new rather than repair a 17 year old machine. That doesn't always happen. Mark arrived when he said he would, he listened to the noise and In less than 30 seconds told me that my washer needed a new water pump. We spent a bit of time discussing new versus repair and I was persuaded that my 17 year old Maytag was worth the investment given the junky washers that are sold nowadays. (He recommended front loading Speed Queen washers but they're way outside my budget.) Mark ordered my new water pump and within a day or so after he got it he installed and tested it. Success ... no more noise!! Total cost: $200, which seems very reasonable to me, and it includes a 1-year guarantee on parts and labor. If you're lucky enough to live in Mark's admittedly limited service area (northeast Summit County) I highly recommend Mark's Appliance Service!

Mark diagnosed the nose from the dryer as a bad idler pulley. He had a replacement part on his truck and the repair only took about 30 minutes. Great service!

Due to the age of my washer and heavy use, I wasn't sure if I would repair my washer or buy a new one. The cost to repair was VERY reasonable and lower than expected. I opted to have unit fixed. I, also, got work quoted for future dryer repair (belt replacement, etc.). When needed, I will not hesitate to use Mark's Appliance for all appliance repairs.

He was fantastic! I would recommend him to everyone I know. I called Total Appliance (local business) and they would not even come out to look at it once I told them it was a Samsung Stove. **Special note: Buyers beware. I had no idea how inferior the Samsung appliances are. (electronics are fine... appliances... are junk!) Anyway... Mark at least said he would try and put an ignitor in as he felt from all indications that was the problem. I told he I was willing to let him try and if it did not solve the problem I would not hold him responsible. So far... so good. It has been working perfectly! He was professional, cheerful, and very nice. Did not charge unreasonable amount. I would use him again for anything. Thanks Mark!

Mark is ALWAYS helpful and efficient. Gives an honest opinion of the options, makes a recommendation then gets the job done. Our first choice when we have a problem.

We had two issues with our refrigerator and dryer. They both turned out to be minor problems that were easily fixed. Mark's Appliance was wonderful

Great. Mark was great to work with. Our washer was 17 yrs old and Mark couldn't guarantee it would work smoothly or for how long so he only charged us half price. We would definitely hire him again.

Mark was great. He arrived exactly on time. He was honest about it not being worth repairing bc of the sealed system leaking. The other big box retailer repair centers wanted $125 just to check it out. The fact that he doesn't rip you off with a service call to tell you what's wrong is amazing. I will absolutely use him in the future!

Mark said he needed to order a part for my freezer, would take a few days. 10 days later with no word from him, I called Mark and had to remind him who I was and the repair, he gave the excuse he never heard from his supplier and would get back to me. Weeks later still no response, I will find someone else. Don't waste your time!

I called Mark for a repair on a clothes washer. After discussing the issues, he advised me that while it could be repaired, there would likely be more expensive repairs in the near future. The combined costs of this immediate repair and likely expensive future repairs made it clear that it was time to buy a new washer. Mark made no money off of my request for a service call, and in fact lost business on the future expensive repairs to this washer. So, while there was no money that changed hands today, Mark made a lifelong customer when I do need service. This is customer service, and will not be forgotten! Thanks Mark!

Very well. Mark diagnosed and fixed it quickly. Neat and very professional. our ice maker wasn't working. Instead of taking an opportunity to make more money he asked us to try a simple fix. Honest and reasonably priced.

Mark called me and was able to come to the house the same day - right within the window he estimated. He initially offered some over the phone tips/diagnostic, which was great, but ultimately he needed to come to the house. Nice guy, professional, quickly assessed our problem, which was really cost prohibitive to repair and it was recommended we replace the nearly 10 year old washer. There was no repair and he did not charge for the service call. Will definitely be calling with my next appliance issue. He also likes dogs! Thank you, Mark!

Mark exceeded my expectations. He was very responsive to my initial call and was able to come out the same day. He really helped me in a jam. All I can tell you is that you need to call him if you are need of a repair. Don't look elsewhere as you will not find a more professional, trustworthy or helpful contractor. If you want peace of mind and good value for your money, call him. I couldn't be happier. Not only will I call Mark for all my future repairs, I plan to refer him to everyone I know! FIXED! He scheduled a prompt service visit, showed up when promised, diagnosed the problem, and returned the same day to install the necessary part -- and even ran a test wash. Everything was prompt, polite, neat and tidy. All good.

Mark was at my house two days after initially getting in touch with him to take a look at problems I was having with my washer and dryer. Long story short, my washer and dryer we're unable to replicate the problems they were having when Mark came over. Despite this, Mark took the time to make sure everything was running smoothly while he was here, and did not charge to take a look at the issues. He told me to give him a call again if the issues come back after he leaves. Due to his professionalism and courtesy, I absolutely will if I need to.
