Answered call immediately and made appointment for a service call in a timely fashion.  Only charges if after evaluating can make repair.  Showed up in expected window and was pleasant and professional and very knowledgeable about his craft.  Had part he needed to make repair on hand. Also gave us excellent advice on how to properly care for our dishwasher.  Would not hesitate to use again.

Mark was great. He showed up within a half hour. He plugged in a part (I cant remember what it was) to see if it would run, but it didn't. He let us know that it would cost too much to fix ($600 for a new compressor) and that we needed a new refrigerator. There was no charge for the service. He was polite and professional. I will absolutely call him again when we need to service any of our appliances.

Mark was excellent and I'll gladly use him again and recommend him. He promptly returned my message, even though it was after normal business hours, and was here the next day. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem using a part he had in his truck.  The price was very fair. He was very friendly, but professional.

Using model info that I gave him, Mark did research and called me back right away to tell me how much the repair would most likely cost. I looked up how old our machine was and to me it was not worth the repair due to the age of our machine. He was very nice in recommending a model to us to purchase which we have done.

He came out the same day I called him and arrived about the time he estimated he would.  He checked for some simple reasons why it was not draining and ruling them out, he stated that most likely it was the drain pump and if so it would cost $250.  He asked how old my five year old washer machine was and asked if it was making noise when on the spin cycle.  I stated it was starting to my noise.  He informed me that this type of machine at about the five year mark, the bearing holding the drum starts to fail and that repair would cost over $500.  This would total the machine and I would be wasting money in repairing the machine.  He did not charge me for the service call and recommended which washing machine I should buy.  He was an excellent repairman who was honest and up front with you.  I highly recommend him.

Mark responded very quickly to my call for help on a Saturday morning.  A defective inlet valve in my washing machine had allowed the machine to fill with water and water had leaked into the basin below my machine as well.  Mark fortunately had the right part in his truck.  He came out to my house within 20 minutes and had the machine repaired within a half hour.  I could not have been happier with the service he provided or his professionalism.  My problem was satisfactorily resolved quickly and on a weekend.  I would definitely recommend his services and will contact him again in the future for any other appliance problems which arise.

Called due to a refrigerator not getting cold. They called back and responded right away. NO CHARGE! Great! Said the vent was blocked and if problem persists, call back. It did. I did, several times. No response at all. Called another Angie provider who came right out and diagnosed problem CORRECTLY. Fan not running. I guess you really do get what you pay for - NOTHING.

I called Monday evening after 7PM and left a message to call us regarding the dryer and the next morning Mark called to get more info about the dryer and set the appt.  He was able to get to us the same day at 3PM and called approximately 15minutes prior.  Since I removed the back of the dryer in my attempt to repair, I left it off thinking it would be helpful but found that the repair had to be accessed through the front.  He made sure he had the correct parts and after quoting a fair price that we agreed to, he went right to work removing the front panel, drum and other items to get to the heating element.  All parts went back together again and he even replaced the back panel that I had removed with no complaints. The dryer is working fine again.   Mark is pleasant to talk with and answered all of my questions while continuing to work on the dryer.  We would be happy to recommend him and will call him for any future appliance repairs.

My early morning voicemail was returned by Mark the same business day (within one hour).  He quickly assessed my clothes dryer noise issue and provided helpful troubleshooting recommendations. The extent of troubleshooting assistance provided by Mark was exceptional in my experience. He mention doing so to avert customer frustration from avoidable service calls.
Mark agreed to a service call to my home later that afternoon. Same day service is truly exceptional these days! I returned home shortly before Mark's scheduled arrival and quickly completed his recommended troubleshooting steps. He had suspected airflow blockage
and had directed me to check the dryer's outlets. A garment blocking the dryer's major airflow vent was discovered just moments before his arrival.
I showed Mark the garment blockage upon his arrival to my home. He used a special tool (far more effective than my tool) to quickly extract the lodged garment. The garments removal immediately repaired the dryer noise issue.  Mark had every right to charge for this service call but did not!  I believe this service call to embody the ideal standard for any appliance service provider.

Mark was very helpful both over the phone and at my home for the service call.  When what Mark suggested to resolve the problem didn?t work he made a service call within a day or two after I called.  Mark unblocked the drain hose in the back of refrigerator that was not draining properly, which solved the problem.  A day or so later my husband and I noticed that the refrigerator?s motor was much louder and ran for a long period of time. Mark came out shortly after I called. He was very thorough in checking out all the possibilities for the problem; the fan was stuck on something, which he corrected.
We have used Mark previously, he was recommended by an employee at the local Lowe's.  Mark would rather tell you that an appliance is beyond repair than have a customer spend money on something that won?t last.  My husband and I wouldn?t think of using another repairman with our appliances.

Another company had performed a service at my home.  They had to disconnect the stove but didn't tell me that they don't reconnect it.  I was four days without a stove.  Mark was on time, courteous, polite, fixed the problem and cleaned up after himself.  I will definitely use him again.  The first company paid the bill so I don't know the cost.

Mark sent out a  worker whom he had used in the past.  He chose this man, I'll call Ed, because he had a lot more experience dealing the older type (20 yrs old) of washing machine like we owned (Amanna).  Ed came as promised to look at the machine which was in the basement (we were in the kitchen).  He came back up after a short while and told us that the transmission was bad and that it would be more cost efficient to replace the machine than do a repair.  The repair would be around $300-$350, which I verified with others.  We asked him how much for his time and he said "Mike does not charge for service calls. But a tip would be fine"  When I asked him what a fair "tip" would be?   Ed said around $10, which I agree was reasonable.  I paid him cash and Ed packed up his tools and left.
The problem came when my husband came home that evening and I told him what Ed had said.  He went down to look at the machine and found that Ed has left it torn apart and it was missing the motor, the belt and some valves.  When I looked at what he was saying, it was obvious even to me that parts (and not small ones!!) had been removed as the connections were still hanging there!  Well to say the least, I was ticked off!!  The fact that Ed had essentially stolen from us then had the audacity to then ask for a cash tip on top of that!!  FYI, "Ed" has a small appliance repair shop on Turney Rd (Near Al-Kar Muffler) in Garfield Hts-- I would avoid it!
I contacted Mark's and spoke with Mark the owner, the next morning and told him what had happened.  Mark had already spoken with Ed, so he was aware of what the issue with the machine was.  But he obviously was not aware that Ed had "helped himself" to parts off our machine.  Mark was quite upset and offered to pay me the wholesale value of the missing parts (I received the check 2 days later) and said this was not the way he does business.  He was very apologetic and explained that they often "recycled" parts off machines that were going to be trashed, but always had the owners permission first and it was NOT their policy to remove any part without the owners knowledge or consent.  He wanted to know if I wanted Ed to bring the stolen parts back and I said No.  I told him that if Ed had asked, I would have checked with my husband and probably given him the parts, but for him to have just taken them like a thief was not kosher!!  Mark did tell me that this event helped him to come to a decision and he was terminating his relationship with Ed and would not longer be using him for any further calls.  I suspect that Ed saw theret was 2 handicapped women (me and my 90 yr old Mother in Law) in the house (I never mentioned my husband) and suspected we would never realize what he had done.  That almost even makes it worse!!  But Ed had a lot of guts to steal $100 worth of parts and then ask for a tip on top of that!
I truly believe that Mark the owner had NO idea that Ed was or had done what he did and that to steal older parts off a machine is NOT the way he does business.  Yes, if people donate their machines to him (in exchange for removing them), he does recycle usable parts off as a way to help people keep repair costs down, but that is done with their permission and knowledge, not in the back door way Ed did it.  So I would give Mark's Appliance another chance if I have need of appliance repair services again.  I found him to be truly upset at his employees actions and did a very acceptable and reasonable "apology" to us for what happened and did pay us the wholesale value of the parts taken.  That you do not see often and as I said, I got the check 2 days later in the mail, as promised!!  Now Ed, I would not allow him in my home again for fear of what else he may slip into his bag and help himself to without my knowledge. Since Mark is no longer using Ed's services that should not be an issue!
