Description of Work: I wanted my furnace and air conditioner checked. Both systems are contained in one unit. Sals told me that temperature had to be atleast 60 degrees to check air conditioner, therefore nothing could be done at this time. They will be back on 5/1 and did not charge me for coming out this time.

Description of Work: I'd use them again. We had them replace our hot water tank when it busted. They came out the same day and beat everyone else I called on price and time. Very professional, answered all my questions.

Description of Work: I purchased Air Conditionnig and humidifer big deal. Contractor was able to complete the air conditioning install, but due to tight space in my basaement was unable to install humidifier. He recommended to contact angies list to process refund.

Description of Work: I purchased an Agnie's List Big Deal coupon for Sal's to install a new toilet in one of my bathrooms. Before they came out to do the installation, they called and said they were upgrading the toilet to another model as they felt the original toilet was not up to standards. The technician came at the appointed time and began the work immediately. I expected him to run into some unexpected problems as I was replacing a fifty year old toilet installed on a slab floor. He did and showed me what the problem was ( had to replace a seal which held the toilet in place), and we agreed on the work before he proceeded. He left to purchase some additional parts, returned and completed the installation. This additional work took nearly an added hour and cost approximately another $125.00. I was pleased that he took the time to do the the job right, instead of just installing the toilet as it had been and hoping that it would work. I am very pleased with the new toilet at both how well it flushes and the addtional savings to be gained from less wated used with each flush. I will certainly use Sal's again if the opportunity arises.

Description of Work: This was an Angie's list special . They serviced my ancient air conditioner. The young man was terrific even working outside during a thunder storm. I cautioned him about it, but he was determined to do the job. He did a fine job and the air conditioner now works much better.

Description of Work: Replaced original 1940's gas furnace in one day. Removed entire old furnace, installed programmable thermostat and put new furnace on a separate circuit breaker.

Description of Work: Scott came out and inspected my current furnace. He negotiated a bit on the price, which saved me about $500 compared to other prices. And it is the exact same furnace and humidifier as the others. He did not try to sell me anything I didn't need. The installers came out promptly and were very professional. Everything is working fine. I will sign up for a service contract.

Description of Work: They instaled a humidifier in my house. There was a small glitch in the instalation and it diod not work properally.we then had a comunication problem getting them back here to corect the problem but once I got in touch with their service manager it was taken care of .
