Description of Work: After sweating through two unexpected heat spells in May, our air conditioning unit seemed to not be cooling our home. I called approx. 5 different services with little luck. I was told by all providers that I would have to wait another week before any provider could come out. Finally, I contacted Sal's Heating in Broadview Heights. After pleading with the receptionist, they worked me in the very next day. I expected them to arrive after 3:00 that afternoon, after I returned home from work. I unexpectedly received a call saying they could be out that morning. After contacting my daughter, she was able to meet the Sal's representative to let him in the home. Unfortunately, my daughter had to leave soon after the serviceman arrived. I talked with the serviceman and decided I would have to trust him to work in our home without supervision. The serviceman performed his work, fixed the problem, and called me throughout with updates. When the work was completed, he even walked around my house and closed all my windows! I was so impressed with him and his professionalism! I will definitely use Sal's Heating again!

Member, I have personally called to apologize and left multiple messages to correct and explain what happened in this case. When we reached you after a few days not a week, you asked for a Saturday appointment for a FREE estimate. Shelby, explained that we do not because we are with our families after a extremely long week and evenings. Also in order to keep prices competitive, we can not pay overtime to perform a FREE estimate on Saturday. This however does not excuse her error of not calling back in a timely fashion. The reason this happened was the extreme hot weather event week and demand for service, caused the note to get lost on her desk. Still no excuse. I would appreciate a call back as you did from us to personally apologize. It has been 5 days now. I await your phone call or I will continue to call until we reach you. Thanks! Sal

The first visit overall did not go good due to bad weather plus both the technician and myself were out of patience/in a bad mood. Description of Work: This was a "Big Deal" furnace inspection & tune up. I signed up for it because I was very pleased with their previous A/C inspection & tune up (another Big Deal) in April. Again, they were prompt (called about 1/2 hour before arrival), did the inspection & cleaned the furnace and reviewed all with me, and gave me recommendations (but no sales pitch) on possible future needs.

I have spoken to this Member on three occasions after this report. We called multiple times with NO connection before this report. He purchased this in 2011. I finally reached him personally and he told me he was a person that traveled and he wanted the service and would call us when he was ready. Why was this not done to begin with? I offered his money back, he declined but said he would remove this report and then report back when we did the service. We called a week or two later says he had the service done by another company and would like his money back. This will be fine but we really need this report updated before that can happen. I called him again today and he said he was going to delete this report. It is still up here on 4/15/13. When the work is not done I am still is disbelief that any grade can be given. Yet here it is a BIG fat F for all to see. Please keep in mind we always call to schedule and if we cant reach you CALL US! Please! reports like this drive me crazy. So I will wait to see if this customer does what was promised. We need a Sal's list to rate Angie's list customers. I will await the response. Sal
