It works fine and looks good. The only negative is they won't provide an approximate time. They just call you 30 minutes prior. It would be nice if they could at least specify morning or afternoon so you don't have to take an entire day off from work to wait for their call.

Service technician was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and did a professional job with the installation.

Pretty good. I always go with license, bonded and insured first. They seem to kn ow what they are doing. They were pleasant when they came. They were courteous. They went right to work, narrowed it down to the problem and we fixed it.

Had to call them back out to actually install 110 outlet for a/c. The outlet for the humidifier needed to be a GFI outlet, didn't find that out until the inspector failed the inspection. Why did sals tell me in the quote or during the instillation. Why did I have to find out after the inspection? Then they charged me to fix it. After I called and yelled because they didn't installed the other outlet which I paid for. The outlet by the humidifier was touched by them to wire the furnace so I know that they saw it was wrong. I understand that there is a part in the contract about electrical but that should have been done right the first time not when I call and complain. There's more about the horrible customer service I got when I called.

Drain was cleaned but visual inspection was not completed because they forgot the electrical adapter cord that lit the fiber optic cable. When reinstalling the gutter, they chipped the stone and the anchor pulled out and then not replaced. To compensate for the anchor pulled out they added more sheet metal screws in to other straps and down spout... not a good fix... screws used did not match color of down spout and original screws.

Not well at first. The tech told me when he gave me the bill that 1) the system was dirtier than normal and he could not honor the coupon, and 2) the entire system needed to be replaced. Why didn't the tech say there was an upcharge once he decided the system was dirtier than standard instead of raising the price after the work was done? We got a second HVAC company tech out to quote on a new system and he said all it needed was a few pounds of Freon and a cap with an "O" ring on one of the fill valves. That cost us a few hundred dollars, not the thousands Sal's wanted, and it has run for another five years. On the good side, once Sal's got wind of our problem, they called to apologize. They said the tech no longer was there, and they would refund our money as well as give us a heck of a deal on a new system whenever we needed one.

I'd give them an "A" for overall service. I would possibly use them again, they wouldn't be my first choice but I'd probably use them again.

The valve was repaired successfully and three other valves were lubricated. Sal's promised to have a someone give an estimate to repair damage to the popcorn ceiling below the leak. They never contacted me about the repair, even though I reminded the plumbers.

They were very good and cooperative and were running a special. They were very professional and did good work, and were very respectful. Communication was good.

When he was packing up, the tech said the charge was more than the original price because the air handler was so dirty, something I think should have been said as soon as he looked at it and before he started. He also said the system was old and couldn't be fixed. Sal's quoted thousands of dollars to replace it. We had a different HVAC contractor look at it who tested the system and found a small leak at a valve. He put a few pounds of Freon in it and an o-ring cap. Cost us a couple hundred. It has been working fine for five years now, so obviously it could be fixed and didn't need to be replaced.

A+ from my first panicked phone call to the follow-up phone call from the office a couple of weeks later to make sure everything was in good order. I don't know how they fit me in for a same day water heater replacement, but Carmen worked it out for me on the phone, Matt showed up promptly with the best attitude, and Edwin joined him for the final install. Matt and Edwin made sure I understood the process and how to reach out to Sals if I had any questions. They were clean, organized, friendly and knowledgeable. This team was working hard for me from my first phone call. Highly recommended and I've shared with family and friends that if they need help with this sort of thing, Salls is the place to call.
