We used them because it’s some kind of insurance thing with the furnace. When you call for emergency, they send out someone and it happened to be Sal’s. They were here right when they said they would be here.

Sal's ending up having to get access to existing faucet by cutting hole in basement drywall and installing an access panel. This work was done at an additional cost above the Big Deal price. I also ended up purchasing a better faucet (all weather) than the one included in the Big Deal.

I bought the faucet for installation the handles were very loose and he adjusted them for me. No leaks.

Could not repair the faucet (primary). So I wasted an $80 for $200 Angie's List coupon on a catch drain that I could have done myself.

Both appointments were handled professionally and would hire again.

$225 for less than 30 minutes of work is very high. Sent 2 workers, not a 2 worker job. Their shoes were dirty and they left footprints on the bathroom floor that needed to be cleaned after they left. They replaced the tank parts and now the handle on the toilet has to be held down for a few seconds in order for it to flush.

There are several things going thru your head when you call a contractor for work. "When will I have time to schedule a day off," "What are all the other things they'll say I need done," "How much more than the estimate will the final bill be," etc... Well it seems Sal's is aware of these concerns because they made sure to ease them all. Gerry, my servicer, made time for me on the only day I'd be available for months (with only a couple hours notice). I expected a sink replacement, as others said, but he was able to get my sink in tip-top shape in only an hour. Then bill was very reasonable. He even managed to keep my sick child from waking, the only reason I had time for the repairs. These guys know what they are doing, plain and simple. Not only skilled in their craft - but in the logistics as well.

I told them to go ahead and put in a new thermostat, which they did. However, after they left, the new one was not working properly. They said to call with any problems, so I did. They came back out, and checked it out. They said there was nothing wrong with it. I had to call again and tell them that it still was not turning on and off like it should. They sent someone out again, and he checked it and said it was OK. They had told me that if there were any problems with the new unit, they would fix it or replace it. When the 2nd tech was leaving, he gave me a bill for over $100, and the office called to tell me that I owed them. I told them that I shouldn't have to pay this, since it's clearly a problem with their unit, and I had a warranty. I went back and forth with the owner, but he tried to insist that I owed for the most recent bill. He said that if I went on the internet and gave him a good review, he wouldn't charge me. I did that, but then he called me and said there wasn't a review there. Then I got a bill from an attorney saying I owed the money. I called the attorney and explained what had happened. He said that didn't make a difference, and that I owed the money. I paid it to avoid ruining my credit.

When I called to schedule I was told that the deal was for minor repairs such as a leak and not for any installation. So I had to contact Angies list to have my $99.00 refunded

Work was done.. good job. Shocked to find out price was $650. If I would have known up front I would of never had work done.

it was excellent service I was pleasently suprised. He called in advance and was promt with his arrival. He explained what the cost was per inch for copper piping. He cleaned up the area he worked he was completly forcused on the job polite effecient with the work

Extremely well. Zach arrived on time and was here over 3 hours. Before starting the job he went out of his way to set our automatic thermostat for both winter and summer! He showed me what he was going to do before hand and what he had done after the job was done. He was friendly and polite and just a pleasure to have in our home. Although we have not turned the heat on yet, I have no doubt it works as it should because he showed me the water flowing over the pad inside the humidifier.

Good, the they provided two technicians to the job. They were very professional, and determined that I needed a pressure relief valve. Repairs were timely and. Showed up on time as promised. I had a coupon for the service which they honored.
