"Member, Sorry it was not what was expected but a garage faucet installed for less than $200 is a gift in the plumbing business. I think you may want to test the waters for some estimates in the future and you will find this is a $500 service. they did nothing. If they didn't want the job they could have told me instead of leaving me hanging.
"This is not exactly true. We had many questions with the city before losing this to another contractor. The city inspector was on a vacation which caused delays. This quote was for an up flow toilet and bathroom remodel which takes time. 30k job. I am sad we did not get it but with a quote like this, you must have your stuff straight. We have called and apologized to the home owner since this was written. They are still upset but we did our best. Sal"
After the initial service call I was very dissatisfied with the service as the system still leaked in fact it seemed to be worse and the air conditioner system could not be used. Cleaning the drain was only part of the leak, the other was due to a lack of Freon in the system. Gages were not used during the initial service call, which should have been a part of the diagnostic evaluation. Called Sal's to complain and a new service date was established. After the second service call the correct diagnostics was made and the system was properly serviced and now seems to work correctly and more efficiently then since I purchased the home some 15 months previous to the service call. I would recommended this service provider but advise that service provided be monitored to ensure the system works correctly. It helps to know what the system was or wasn't doing to help the service tech in evaluating the problem.
Call the company and get an understanding of what work the service tech is supposed to do on a diagnostic test.
"We will come on Saturday if you like but you wanted to use a coupon and that requires something to give up. You cant have a discount and have an overtime service. Business 101. We call on the way so bring your mobile phone with you go where you must and we will call on the way and work with you. Very fair Member. This is why coupons can be dangerous in any business. My wife had nothing but good things to say about Sal's service techs. Chris and Jerry were polite, efficient and neat. They had difficulty removing the old faucet which resulted in some minor cosmetic damage to the sink. Jerry did his best to minimize this. It's an old sink. They still managed to complete the job in under an hour. They made certain cleanup was thorough. The new faucet is far superior to the old one and is serving us well.
I gave them a B on punctuality only because of the the 8 hour range given for arrival time. In my experience this is normal for service companies and should be expected.
We will call them again.
"If your time is valuable with a discounted coupon, it explains the procedure clearly of a phone call on the way. If you want a first call we can accommodate. We have many coupons sold with the discount, the draw back is no exact times. I am sorry you will not use us again but we only have only so many qualified techs which causes delays. Sal's price for the entire package was a great value and there were no hidden costs or add on's.
Overall, I am very pleased at their communication from the initial quotes through scheduling and installation. Sal and his team run a top notch business and I will gladly use them again and would recommend them to anyone. Consummate professionals from top to bottom!
