"We understand there were some issues with this deck. First of all, the pool was not square. We had a way to make the deck as square as possible, but the homeowner would not allow us to fix it. We presented several solutions to try and make it right, but the homeowner never would respond or return our calls. Decking is made in different lots, just like siding and shingles. There is no guarantee that there is going to be 100% match. We do our best to match up the colors and make the end result look good. We had about 70% of the work done when we had to stop. We can't work in someone's yard without permission to go forward. They never gave Deckcreator a chance to correct the issues-we would have done it. We were trying to work it out, but their lack of response made it impossible. We even had our company attorney try to assist us by writing letters to them-again no response. Regarding the clean up-we DO clean up after our jobs are done-this one was never finished, so how could we clean up? We feel it is very unfair to have this extremely negative appraisal of our work on Angie's List website. These people are only one in the HUNDREDS that we have worked with. We can show you handwritten evaluations from our surverys that have outstanding comments regarding our workmanship. We invite people to come into our professional showroom to see samples of our work and read the comments from actual people that have worked with us, been extremely satisfied, and hightly recommend us. Please do not let this 1 negative person keep you from visiting our showroom to see our work. We have a quality operation and we do good work."
