"Miracle Method takes customer satisfaction very seriously and our reputation is important. When I researched this customer in our database and reviewed the job, I found that several things led up to [Member Name Removed]'[Member Information Removed] complaints. First, in determining price over the phone, we rely solely on what the customer states they have. In this particular case, what [Member Name Removed] stated she needed refinished was priced in a standard fashion. When we arrived to complete the work, we found that it was a completely different type of job. Unfortunately, this can happen when customers want pricing over the phone instead of an in-person estimate, which is a more accurate representation of charges. It is unfortunate, but if the price needs to be increased based upon the scope of the job, we always get approval before starting and always explain why additional costs occur. As for the paint/drywall damage, Miracle Method uses the highest of grade painters tape and uses an abundance of care while masking and protecting walls and areas not getting refinished. In certain instances, even though great care is given, paint damage can occur while unmasking. Again, it is an unfortunate event. We do explain this possibility to all of our customers BEFORE starting a job. When it does occur, we generally offer repair services at a fraction of the cost to have painters come in. We do this to keep a good reputation with our customers, and certainly don't make a profit off of this service. This customer received a discounted price for the job. Unfortunately, they were still unhappy. Miracle Method will always do our best to keep customer satisfaction high, and our reviews prove it.
