Installation of the invisible fence went smoothly and quickly. Brooke, our dog trainer, was terrific in getting our dog trained on the fence. She was always prompt and very professional!

We really like our fence. It has worked well for our two boxers. Its nice to be able to make adjustments. Sharon and Dana are always helpful in answering all of our questions and nice to have batteries made to us quarterly.

Things went pretty well with Invisible Fence. They were professional and were able to get me scheduled quickly. Brooke was the trainer who came out to train my dogs with the new fence. She came out the same day they installed the fence. She actually pulled in as the installation guy was finishing up so there was no lag time in beginning to get my dogs accumulated. Brooke was great with my dogs, friendly, and knowledgeable. There is always some hesitation with introducing your pets to something new like this, but Brooke made me feel confident that this was going to be a good fit for my family, I had one minor issue with the installation where 2 spots where the wire met the bed were too shallow. I called and they were out the next morning and fixed it. You expect minor thing like that are going to happen, but how the company responds and makes it right speaks volumes to the quality of service. Overall they did an excellent job and I would recommend their services to anyone considering this type of fence.

I was very happy with the services provided.

They did well. They arrived on time. They completed the job quickly and professionally . The price quote was reflective of the actual quote. We also used the financing options, 6 months same as cash, which was helpful for such a large expense. My dog was trained on the invisible fence however, we still had an introduction training to make sure that it was okay. The training introduction worked out well. Again, the staff was very professional and timely. They treated my family and dog with respect. I would recommend them to friends and family.

Our entire experience was a nightmare. We discourage anybody from working with this company. They initially only told us about their doorman pet door. They tried to install a different one of these HUGE doors 3 times but they all had a gap around the door edges which easily let outside air inside. Then they told us about their extreme weather door which came in a size to fit our small dogs. Since this dog door was smaller, they put a panel around it which made it difficult to use the door handle and they used huge ugly machine screws. They tried to pressure us into thinking the door looked fine. When I contacted the corporate office 12/19/15 to complain, I was told someone would call me within 48 hours. When nobody did by 1/4/16, I called back and spoke with the person in charge of customer service. She said she didn't call me because she was on vacation. She was very short and cold. She said she would call me back by the end of the day. I have never heard back from her. I guess she called the North Olmsted office because we were told they would replace the door which they took their time doing. They left us with a door not as nice as the original door we had. Our assigned trainer was cold, robotic, and not friendly. She gave me a dirty look when I misunderstood her verbal instructions. We were not given helpful training information in writing so we could remember everything she said when she left. She tried to make one of my dogs wear a collar that was too tight even though I found out she knew there was a newer collar that would fit him perfect. One scheduled training morning when it was cold, I asked her if there was another trainer that might be able to come later in the day when it was warmer. The guy who called me was rude as he exclaimed how they often have to drive an hour because they cover 5 counties. It was hard to watch the trainer set the dogs up to be violently shocked so they could learn to avoid the invisible fence. She called it tough love. The first time I used the collars and fence, after training was completed, one of my dogs was shocked and got stuck. I pulled him back right away, but the vision of his confused face shaking from being shocked is stuck in my mind. We haven't used the invisible fence since then. We are getting quotes for a regular fence which we highly recommend to anybody considering their options. We feel we wasted thousands of dollars for a bad experience.

Overall it was a good experience. They have this down to a science in terms of process, installation, training, etc. Our dog is adapting well to the new fence and we're happy we did it. Pros: Our dog can run in my family's yard, which also has an Invisible Fence. That made it great as we dog-sit each other's pets quite often. Reliable, reputable company. The consultant and trainer were friendly, courteous, punctual and confident, which we appreciated. Good service so far! Cons: The price. They don't price based on how many square feet the fence will be. Anything under 1/2 acre (I think) has a set price. For our 1/4 acre lot, it was pretty pricey. My family has a 1/2 acre lot and they paid the same amount...

The communication breakdown that was caused by this company should have been handled more professionally. Remember your reputation is only as good as that portrayed to your last customer. We had an installer show up to intall this invisible fence. We thought trainer was also coming that day so I instructed entire family to plan to be home. The installer told me that no trainer had been scheduled. Oh and he also wanted payment in full, to include the installation and the training. I was not willing to pay in full when I had not even spoken to a trainer. Attempts to reach the company and the salesperson who worked with me was not easy on a Saturday morning. When I finally heard back from someone later that day, I was not happy with their failure to schedule training and their demand to get payment in full. It seemed like less than ethical business practice. A short while later, I was informed by someone else in the compnay how much I had upset the receptionist in the office with my complaints and refusal to pay in full until training was initiated. I had upset her. I had been misled by this company about training for my dog, had told entire family to be home on a Saturday, and I was being reprimanded for upsetting these folks. Eventually, training was fulfilled. Not sure product will work entirely, as my dog has "escaped" once. At least I have a one year money back guarantee, I hope.

They are very good about explaining everything to me and asking me where I want the fence placed in my yard. They have a follow up with my dog trainer which is very good. I am not sure how their pricing compares to others.

Due to the price only we decided to go with a company called Pet Stop. What a mistake. We have had the collar replaced three times now since installing the system in November, 2007. While the company has done this free of charge (as I would expect), their response times were not great. This last time, the company rep. made the appointment for 10 a.m. When he didn't show by 10:45, I attempted to call. After a few attempts, he finally called me back at 11:30 and told me he had forgotten about our appointment. The other thing about the installation that we found dissatisfying is that the wire is supposed to be buried 6 inches deep. We have several places where the wire is visible. The reason for this review mostly about another company is to heed the warnings that Invisible Fence makes about the other companies out there. They are true at least in our experience with one of them. While we paid less than $1000 for this fence, we wish we had gone with the Invisible Fence.

They were very professional and very knowledgeable. When our dogs were afraid to go out the front door they came back out and retrained them.

Best dollar I ever spent. Tried to train our pup for two years before giving up and getting the invisible fence. Training problem was solved very quickly. I wish I had done this sooner. Battery plan is also a nice touch. I receive an automatic delivery through the mail every few months. (One less thing you have to remember to do). Quick installation with minimal training. Worth every penny!

RECEIVED A DISCOUNT COUPON, WAS VERY FRIENDLY, TRAINER WAS VERY GOOD. IT IS A MORE COMPLEX PROCEDURE THAN I THOUGHT. BE PREPARED TO SPEND TIME IN TRAINING ANIMAL AFTER FENCE INSTALLED, VERY WELL ORGANIZED, VERY GOOD WITH INFO UP FRONT.

I'M SURE THE PRODUCT IS GOOD, BUT I WAS NOT IMPRESSED WITH THE SALESPERSON. SHE WAS TELLING ME ALL THESE ENDORSEMENTS THEY HAD WITH LOCAL RESCUE GROUPS. I CHECKED UP ON THEM AND THEY AMOUNTED TO JUST SALES TACTICS. SHE ALSO TOLD ME THAT THEY WERE THE ONLY RADIO FENCE COMPANY TO HAVE A CONSUMER DIGEST'S BEST BUY. NOT TRUE. WE JUST GOT A DOG WATCH SYSTEM INSTALLED FOR MUCH CHEAPER WITH TRAINING AND IT'S A CONSUMER REPORT'S BEST BUY ALSO.
