Over 6,000 square feet of 23 year old rotting shingles were replaced with beautiful matching, new, high quality shingles. First of all, let me say that the shingle that was on my roof isn't made anymore. John, the owner, was able to find a high quality replacement that appeared to be the exact same shingle, but a higher quality, higher rated shingle. My roof is very steep, lots of pitches, valleys, and hard to get to places. His crew was hard working and professional and performed an outstanding job replacing my roof. The entire job was knocked out in just a few days. The crew removed all of the old shingles and matting, brought a dumpster to collect all the debris, and left my property looking better than when they arrived. I have passed John's name on to another who has used him to replace a roof and he was thrilled with his service as well. They finished his roof in less than a day, a smaller low incline roof.

The crew put tarps over all our extensive landscaping and gardens. They were very careful of everything. They started early in the morning and had the whole roof done by mid-afternoon. They were courteous and professional about everything. When they were done, all the debris was in the dumpster. They had us walk around and inspect the finished job.
 From start to finish, it was the best roof experience ever. Their roofing consultant, Greg, was vey helpful. Their work crew did a marvelous job quickly and efficiently, and left our property spotless. The roof is beautiful and compliments the whole house perfectly. This job was handled in the most professional manner in comparison to any other company that I have worked with. The owner John Ernst called me before,during and after to ensure that I was happy with the work being done. In fact I had picked out a color roof that in his experience he felt would not look great, so he personally came over on a Sunday with the chart of roofs to review the color and ensure I was picking out the right color. The day before the workers were to come a huge trash container arrived as well as the roofing materials. Everything was placed in such a way that it would not interfere with my coming and going. Then the next day bright and early the roofers arrived. They were the most efficient, honest, hardworking group of guys that i have had work at my house. They knew exactly what and how they were going to do my roof and went to work. I felt terrible for the guys as it was 90 plus degrees that day, so I kept bringing out ice water and ice tea and eventually Popsicles for them. They were so appreciative but it wasn't something that they expected. With regards to my roof , it looks fabulous. Plus once they left there were no signs that they were here. They picked up every piece of dirt or scraps. They even had a magnetic machine that picked up any nails etc. they worked from dawn to dusk to get the job done. They were an amazing team of workers. Plus John Ernst as I mentioned before, called again after the job was done to ensure I was happy with the roof, the cleanup etc. I would recommend Whitegloveexteriors to anyone In fact I was bragging so much, that I was able to give the company two leads on folks who need a roof. If you need a roof don't look any farther . This is the company you want!

From the very beginning John Ernst from White Glove Exteriors was a consumate professional, returning evry call within hours and always available for questions or concerns.  I had conflicts with my schedule and he readily worked with me to get the work done around my time constraints.  From the first assessment to the final phone call, John gave me all my options and never once did I feel pressured or pushed into doing anything.  Rather he informed me of my options and what it would take to complete them.  After some very shoddy work in the past, and having had to deal with some very stressful situations with contractors, I am so relieved to have found a professional who takes great pride in his work, and I believe relies upon his professionalism, his character, and his ability to connect with customers to establish a great business in which he respects his customers and in turn is given respect in return.  I am extremely happy with the quality of the work and know, unlike what i had done in the past, these gutters will last for a very long time.  I value people who value their work, and I look forward to having WHite Glove Exteriors provide me with continued excellence and quality.  Highly Recommended!!

Our estimate was given to us by the owner, John. He was very honest and I felt that our roofing project was safe in his hands. I was also impressed by the fact that out of the 4 estimates we received he was the only estimator that actually pulled out a ladder and got up on the roof to check it out.
  Price was a concern to us and I told all the estimators to give us their absolute best deal possible. It seems that John was the only one to do that. A few of the other roofing companies called me back and offered me another price when I told them they were higher than the others. I decided to stick with White Glove due to John's professionalism and integrity.
  His crew showed up right on time and worked their butts off getting our roof done. The crew was very polite and seemed to work well together. I was extremely impressed and could not have asked for more. Usually when we have hired other people to do projects for us, the workers have thrown loose (un-bagged) trash into our outside trashcans, not these guys!
  Our new roof looks wonderful and we could not be more pleased with White Glove Exteriors. Anytime you hire a company that is family owned and the owner is right out there doing the estimates himself, you know you can count on them as they are hands-on and committed to customer service. Whenever we need to have more exterior work done, we will be calling them again. A+ and 4 stars all the way.

I would just like to say that they were punctual, professional and very hard-working. They did an exceptional job with cleaning up when they were done. They did a wonderful job on the roof, it looks wonderful and I love it. I would definitely recommend White Glove Exteriors, and I give them an A+.

The president of White Glove Exteriors, John Ernst and project coordinator Greg Vlahos personally inspected our house in late October after I called them in response to a flyer in the mail box.  Up to that point we did not realize that we had significant damage to the roof and aluminum siding from a late May hail storm.  They worked with the insurance company to insure that all damage was recognized and as a result, our entire roof and all of the siding were replaced with high quality materials.  The roof was replaced in November, 2011 and the siding was replaced in January, 2012.  Both the roofing and siding crews did an excellent job and did not take any short cuts or use inferior materials.  I observed and talked to the roofing and siding crews on a daily basis and was impressed with their skill and workmanship, especially considering the weather conditions.  My wife and I are truly proud of our home now and would recommend White Glove Exteriors to anyone considering exterior work to their home.

ln May, 2011 we experienced a serious hailstorm in the North Ridgeville area and a number of homes in our development had roof damage that resulted in replacement roofs being authorized by their insurance companies.  The roof damage itself or the evaluation of this damage by the insurance companies at times seemed random.  In many cases, one homeowner had a roof replacement claim approved  while the adjacent homeowner's claim was rejected.  The results also seemed to depend at times on the insurance company one used or the claims adjusters that were assigned.  This left many homeowners in our development frustrated and unhappy.  As one of the people who had watched hundreds of their neighbors get new roofs while mine didn't seem to qualify for some reason, I could relate.  In October, 2012 another serious weather event, namely the tail-end of Hurricane Sandy swept into the area with high winds that loosened or blew off roof some of our roof shingles. I wanted to have my roof inspected by an independent contractor before I called the insurance company to have an adjuster assigned so I could obtain an objective evaluation and identify  specific areas of damage to point out to the claims adjuster.  Consulting Angie's List I saw that White Glove Exteriors had excellent reviews and had heard that they had good working relationships in coordinating their inspections with those of the claims adjusters. I met John Ernst, the President of White Glove Exteriors and was impressed with his knowledge, business sense and patience in explaining the entire process including the meeting with the claims adjuster.  He also noted his excellent reputation on Angie's list and made it clear I was under no obligation to use his company if the insurance company approved my roof for replacement.  With John being so forthright about this, it greatly influenced my decision to  choose John and his company to do the work after the replacement roof was approved by my insurance company. John took me through the contract which detailed all the work to be done, when money was to be advanced and the process for getting the insurance check endorsed by our mortgage company in addition to myself.  As it turned out I only put $1,000 down upfront.  This was followed by the first check from the insurance company once the work was well underway. Upon completion I paid my deductible and upon submission of the completion certificate with the insurance company I received the final payment from the insurance company which after being endorsed by me and my mortgage company were turned over to John in final payment. John's crew supervised by Dave were extremely efficient.  They called ahead and when they arrived they got started right away in covering all the flower beds and grounds around the perimeter of the roof with drop cloths and began to remove the old roof. The truck with the shingles and attached conveyor belt arrived shortly thereafter and started sending bundles of new shingles to the roof to be stacked prior to installation.  Shortly after that truck left, another large truck came with a large dumpster to collect all the shingles and materials stripped from the old roof and any other waste materials.  They made a great start on the first day removing the old shingles from the back of the roof along with the old moisture barrier and replaced the skylights.They shifted into high gear the next day and installed new shingles on the entire back of the roof.  They were set to complete the work the next day, but heavy rain forced the work to be cancelled.  On the following day, they returned, tore off the old shingles and moisture barrier from the front of the roof and installed the new ice/water shield, moisture barrier and shingles.  The last step with the roof was to install a new drip edge.  This was all completed by noon of the third day which was excellent considering I own a 3,068 square foot ranch with a very large roof.  At that point, the crew removed the drop cloths along with the waste they collected and the area around the dumpster and the driveway were swept clean.  That was followed up by a second circuit of the perimeter to sweep and/or pick up any stray pieces of litter, and then a final inspection of the entire area by Dave.  Shortly thereafter the large truck arrived to remove the dumpster which was carefully covered so that none of its contents would spill or be be blown out. Replacing a roof is a messy job and John, Dave and the crew made sure our grounds driveway were cleaner than when they arrived.  Similarly, there were no scraps of shingle or other material on the roof after the work was completed.  In the case of the skylights some small strips of drywall had cracked around the rim of the skylight  openings in removing and replacing the old skylights.  John sent his drywall contractor to perform this work at no charge to us. This was a large job efficiently done in a quality manner by John, Dave and the White Glove Exteriors crew.  I am very pleased and highly recommend their work.

An estimate was performed and we were given the information, as well as it being directly submitted to our insurance company by White Glove Exteriors.  We chose the style and color of shingles that we wanted from a sample book and asked numerous questions that were answered promptly and professionally.  On the day of the roof installation, my husband and I left for work and when I got home I had a brand spanking new BEAUTIFUL roof!  I thought it would take at least a couple days, but they were finished in just a few hours.  The workers were incredibly careful with my plants and landscaping.  They cleaned up after themselves so well.....no stray roofing nails anywhere.  We went from a light colored shingle to a darker one and they even painted the pipe on the roof to match the new color.  I'm very, very pleased with the whole experience and would recommend  White Glove Exteriors without hesitation if you're looking for value, quality and excellent results!

My experience with John and White Glove was FANTASTIC!!!  I was very nervous about the whole process and the expense of the large projects.  The roof, windows, painting and trim, these were BIG projects.  John made me feel at ease during the entire time.  We met over a cup of coffee and he explained each project in detail to me.  He priced each project and NEVER once pressured me to buy "on the spot".  He even suggested doing things in stages to help financially.  It was refreshing to work with someone that I felt at ease with.  John thoroughly took the time to show me what was needed and did an excellent job of showing me the process. We started with my windows (replaced 22).  John gave me many options and different price ranges.  I selected a double pane with grates.  His worker was professional, polite and did a FANTASTIC job installing.  Friends RAVED immediately!!!  Next came the power washing and painting.  Again a GREAT job and it brought back life to my home.  His work was flawless!.  Next was my roof and sky lights.  Very professional work and cleaned to perfection.  After that was finished, my exterior trim was completed and John's installer did a wonderful job.  Finally, my gutters were done, the work was again flawless and installed professionally and timely. 
I will say, while nervous at first, the entire process was GREAT!!  To see my home after completion, you would NEVER have known it was the same house!!!!

The roofers came on Monday morning as scheduled and completed the job in three days.  They were careful to cover the plants and cleaned up after themselves each day.  They even trimmed some of the tree branches which were overhanging the house and garrage.Overall they were very detailed with flashing and vents on the roof.  All the guys were good and professional workers.

John Ernst, the president of the company was extremely hands on through the entire process. He made the process of dealing with the insurance company a piece of cake. What i liked most about working with John was that he was extremely confident in the quality, service, and follow-up his company provides. After seeing many roof jobs in my day I can say that White Glove Exterior exceeded all of my expectations. I have the best looking roof in the neighborhood, as well as the piece of mind that if anything should need addressed in the future John will be there for me.

John Ernst stopped by our house and introduced himself when he was in the neighborhood checking on another job.  He impressed me with his professionalism and wasn't pushy.  He spent a good amount of time with us as we decided on the scope of the work and made our final decisions.  His installer, Dave, was a one-man phenomenon -- a tireless worker who did a beautiful job.  John was diligent at follow up and made sure we were happy with the result.    He also recommended a gutter installer with whom we were pleased.  I highly recommend White Glove Exteriors and would definitely use the company in the future.

After the insurance adjuster filed his report, our carrier approved our claim.  John was very helpful in the color selection for our roof.  Rather than have us be unhappy from choosing a color from a sample board, he contacted the shingle supplier and obtained a list for us of addresses in our town that had ordered shingles of our 4 possible colors.  We were able to drive around town and see the actual colors on the roof's of houses... that really helped.  Our job involved tearing off two layers of existing roof shingles and putting the new roof on.  His crew was courteous, efficient and thorough.  It took 1.5 days to get the job done... seemed very fast for the amount of work they had to do.  At the end of day one, the crew completely cleaned up our property.  Old shingles, nails, roof debris were totally removed from my property... They moved patio furniture, plants, etc. well out of the way of things falling from the roof and put tarps around the entire house, including hanging down to protect our windows during the job days... all this was taken up and stored the night in between, as if no one had been working on the house.On Day 2 the crew arrived early in the day and worked until the job was completed.  They replaced my gutter screens and even removed and old satellite dish from our roof.  At the end of the job my yard and area surrounding my house was even tidier than when they had arrived the day before.  It's been 5 days since they left and I have yet to find a single roofing nail in my yard or driveway...
We are contemplating residing our home and I look forward to working with White Glove Exteriors for this project as well.

John Ernst, president of White Glove Exteriors, was actively engaged from start-to-finish to ensure our full roof replacement, as well as the gutter and downspout replacement, went as planned.  After our initial meeting, he met with the out-of-state, independent insurance adjuster for more than two hours; going to bat for us, citing Ohio regulations and industry guidelines for the proper amount and payment procedures.  He was professional in his appearance, demeanor, knowledge and skill.
When a window was inadvertently damaged by falling roofing debris during the tear off, David -- the crew supervisor -- promptly acknowledged the issue, apologized, and offered to repair it.  Mr. Ernst further stepped up and said the company would pay to have the window replaced, which it has done ... without reservation or hesitation.
David runs a tight crew. His men are quick and efficient, tearing off two layers of material and laying a new dimensional shingle roof on a 2-story colonial and garage in a day and a half.  The gutter crew was done in about four hours.  I was amazed when I saw one of the workers on his hands and knees picking up small pieces of old shingle from the yard. That kind of attention to detail is hard to find. 
The new roof, gutters and downspouts look great.  I highly recommend John Ernst and his team at White Glove Exteriors.
