Everything went fine.

JR Luxury Bath installed my shower when I was an employee. They overcharged me for the work that was completed, they never installed the shower seat that I paid $750 for, but the real tragedy is the way John Weddell is running his business... Do not buy from this company. John Weddell, the President and owner has a history of not paying his employees. The reason I left JR Luxury Bath is that John asked me to hold off depositing my check for a few days. This threw up red flags for me, but I agreed. After depositing the check, it bounced. I resigned immediately. I forced him to secure certified funds for the bounced check, which he did, but John still owes thousands of dollars to me and he is ignoring all of my attempts to contact him. This man is mis-managing money and acting in an unethical manner. Buyer beware!

All went went well from beginning to end. With one exception. The sales person was very professional and answered all questions. I was a little disappointed that he indicated the possibility of an earlier install and I don’t think he was totally honest about the reality of that. Needed it done sooner as I was having a total knee replacement. The installer Chad was Outstanding, professional and started and completed the job in two days. There were two concerns and they were taken care of immediately the next day to my satisfaction. Thus far I am totally satisfied with this project and I would recommend this company.

Very well. Love my new bath. Professional, courteous, responsive to needs. Work done efficiently and left my home neat as a pin. Workmanship and quality of product are exceptional. Chad did a great job. He had to correct several problems from how the house was built, and had to deal with significant settling and wall movement. We were highly satisfied with the quality of both the materials installed and the workmanship. They made the planning and decision-making about materials very easy. After negotiating the price, they sat down with us and over a couple hours walked us through choosing everything from countertops to towel racks. Their prices were higher than a couple contractors we considered, but the materials were far superior. We are so thankful we chose J R Luxury Bath for our project, and would strongly recommend them.

My elderly father gave them $2850.00 in cash at initial contract signing. He/we did not pick out the types of faucets that were going to be installed and we were NEVER provided prices for any of the items that were installed. We were told at initial contract signing that a refund of some amount was most likely due because contractor could not provide us with any prices for fixtures at that time. We are still fighting for any kind of refund. The job was completed the week before Thanksgiving. Half of the faucets installed were cheap plastic, the tub shower STILL does not work properly, water comes out of faucet when hand held shower head is engaged, the toilet bolts on sides weren't cut or covered. My Dad is STILL waiting for them to come out to fix that issue and its is now going on 3 weeks since the job was done. When I asked the owner for a price breakdown of items installed and hourly cost of labor he only provided me with a figure of $1875 for materials and $975 for labor...nothing more. I don't even know what the cost of labor was per hour or how long they said the installer was there! How ironic that it totals exactly $2850...the exact amount of what my Dad paid in cash! There was no breakdown of prices provided by model #'s for each item installed. I myself priced faucets, toilets online of similar items through Home Depot and did not get anywhere near the amount of $1875.00 he says the cheap materials costed. I came up with a total of $600.00...and being generous...possibly $800.00 at the most. So where does the total cost $1875.00 come from? That is what we are STILL trying to find out from the owner. But, he refuses to provide me with the prices for each item installed, and he knows why...because the materials did not cost $1875.00. THIS COMPANY IS A RIP OFF. ELDERLY FOLKS, BEWARE!!! DO NOT HIRE THIS RIPOFF CONTRACTOR!

Eric, Matt, Ken and Chad are very professional in their workmanship and demeanor. Their craftsmanship is evident in the finished product. Eric estimated the job and was price competitive. Eric, Matt, Ken and Chad did the installation. They arrived on time each day and did a good job. The floor installation by Ken and the tub detailing by Matt were particularly impressive. We are very pleased with their work.

We had JR Luxury Bath remove our old tub and surround and install a full size shower in its place. The entire process took about 12 hours from start to finish. They redid the plumbing for the shower head, faucets and drain. Then installed new backer board before putting in the new shower pan, walls, shower head, shower faucet and new glass shower door. After the complete remodel of the tub to shower they also installed a new sink faucet for the bathroom sink to match it to the new shower. We also got new towel rings and toilet paper holder to match the rest of the pieces. Eric and Chad were great! They were very professional and quick with their work. They did a nice clean up job at the end of the day as well. We had 1 small issue where our drain wasn't sealed properly and it was dripping water down into our finished basement. They came back, fixed the drain issue, cleaned the basement up (the ruined ceiling tiles and dirty carpet) and installed new ceiling tiles. I could not be happier with the new shower, its HUGE and we love the shower head and shelving we have in the new shower.

Eric did the pre-sale meetings and also performed the demolition and installation. There was no hard sell; Eric made two visits to discuss the details. He explained why they used certain materials and products, and gave some suggestions (such as buying a new toilet, since he would be removing the existing toilet to install the floor). We chose the shower surround color, the shower pan color, the shower head, and the vinyl floor tiles. Eric arrived on time both days. The first day was primarily demolition (removing the existing shower surround and pan) and repairing the damage to the walls and floor. A new surround (going to the ceiling) was installed, a new shower pan, and the luxury vinyl floor. He told us when he left for a lunch break and to purchase the molding which we asked him to replace. Even on small details, such as the placement of the soap dish and corner shelf, he asked our opinion. The carpet on the stairs was covered. We are in discussion with Eric regarding more work we would like to have done.

We were impressed by the professionalism of everyone at JR Luxury Bath.  We visited their showroom on a Sunday afternoon because I wanted to see what products they had to offer.  They had several bathrooms set up in their showroom.  They were getting ready for the Home and Garden Show in Cleveland, but Ken was eager to answer any questions we had.  We scheduled an appointment for an estimate that same week.  Eric Weddell came to our house and went over exactly what we were looking for in our bathroom remodel.  He gave us great ideas and even picked out a vinyl flooring tile that PERFECTLY matched our new shower surround (we found out later when we went to their supplier to look at the tile).  Our old bathroom had stained wood wainscoting on one wall of the bathroom  Part of the wainscoting had been eaten away by leakage from the old bathtub.  Eric said he thought he could get a wainscoting that they could stain to match our vanity and cabinet that we were keeping.  JR Luxury Bath told us it would be about 3 weeks until they could start our bathroom.  They came out even earlier than they had originally quoted us.  Prior to the start of the job, Ken Michael came out to the house to bring a piece of wood trim they had stained to match our current stain.  It was not a great match, so they found another stain that matched perfectly.  I had complete confidence in JR Luxury Bath from start to finish of this job.  They aim to please their customers and are extremely pleasant to work with.

Ken Michael was our installer.  He was very meticulous at his work and cleaned up every evening after he completed the work. We are extremely happy with the results of our beautiful new bathroom. Ken went over how to clean and keep our new shower looking great.  This is the second contractor I've hired off of Angie's List and I've been pleased with both contractors.  I would highly recommend JR Luxury Bath to anyone looking to remodel their bathroom.

Ken was out the next Monday.  He was professional, and worked long and hard to get the bathroom done in time for a family member to get home from the hospital.  Ken also pointed out some other plumbing items to take care of that were behind the walls of our 70 year old house.  So we now have a new shower which used the Schluter base, and new fixtures installed.  Ken installed a pocket door for easy wheel chair access.  The floor was rebuilt from the subfloor and tiled.  Wallboard was replaced and tiled.  Grab bars were installed as well.  A fan and new lighting were installed.  All of this work was done in just seven days!  Ken came back on the 28th to make a minor adjustment - he was curteous and professional as before.  My wife and I are both very happy with the final outcome.

Work done on time and the outcome is a bathroom we love! Exactly what we wanted.

The job got moved up a bit in schedule due to a cancelation so that worked out well for me. The owner provided lots of custom options with brochures and catalogs so I didn't have to go shopping at Home Depot and the options were much greater. My house is an older 1936 Bungalow and the plumbing was not that great. Because of that, the main guy that did the work had a pipe break below the upstairs shut off once, but we were able to shut the water off before it got too crazy. He replaced those plastic sections with copper. My carpenter was very friendly, worked hard, and did a fabulous job.

They were here on time. Did an excellent job, very professional. Cleaned up completely.

The owner, John Weddell, came to my home to check out my bathroom and find out exactly what I wanted. He spent about an hour with me discussing the options, showing me materials and photos, and analyzing the logistics of the job. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. He gave me the estimate that same evening and I agreed to have them do the work so he wrote up the order. I knew they had been in business for about 25 years plus they had done work for a good friend of mine, so I felt I was in good hands.







About 5-6 weeks later, my materials arrived and they scheduled the installation. They allowed for up to 2 days to complete the job, but were able to finish it in one day. Co-owner, Eric Weddell, was one of two installers who did the work with Eric working like dog until about 7 PM to finish the work. They made sure to lay down drop cloths throughout the entire path from the front door to the master bath. Another thing I really appreciated was when Eric brought me my dirty, dusty exhaust fan that had to be temporarily removed and asked if I wanted an opportunity to clean it before he put it back in - boy did I ever!!! 







Afterwards, he showed me the work and explained how to operate the new shower head and went over care and cleaning instructions. Everything looked beautiful! Unfortunately, I don't have any good before photos, but I'm including some after photos of the work.







The quality of the materials used and the quality and skill of the installers is outstanding. I also found out from the owner that they do more than just bathrooms. I will be doing some kitchen updates in the near future as well as new flooring throughout my home and I will be considering JR Luxury Bath for those jobs as well.

We are very pleased with all of the changes and remodel in each bathroom.  Excellent service, great work ethic, and very professional.  Both men worked hard and completed everything as if it was their own.  I would definitely use them or refer them to others. 
Each time the men came, they were courteous, on time, neat with their cleanup, and worked hard to complete the jobs.  Because they were working on three bathrooms, they tried to keep at least two in working condition for us at all times.  
Quality products were used, and everything turned out great.

Chad arrived on time and went straight to work.  The job was expected to take a day and a half.  The first day Chad ran into plumbing issues and had to go get parts.  He stayed with it until quitting time.  He returned the next day to complete the job.  The job took longer than expected, and around 6:00, two other men came to help finish the job.  Everyone was polite and kept us informed.  
Everything was cleaned up each day before they left.

We interviewed 4 contractors before deciding upon JR Luxury Bath who submitted a good price and whose materials seemed of very high quality.  They were in our home 2 days - the bathtub with enclosure was previously removed to save on the cost of this project.  Since the tub was on a raised platform, we removed that platform and had the entire area turned into a shower.  The first day was jackhammering concrete, repositioning the drain and plumbing lines, setting the base and installing the three wall sections, floor to ceiling.  The 2nd day was spent primarily building a shower bench, installing the glass door and side panels, placing the assist bars and caulking.

The work was performed so well and my wife and I were amazed at how well they cleaned up when the work was complete.  Our new shower is big and beautiful.  The walls resemble gray tiles but are one piece sections so we will never experience grout problems as we might with tile.  The shower is so easy to clean and we can easily take our Weimeraner Tucker into the shower whenever he needs his bath.

We highly recommend John and the JR Luxury Bath team to anyone looking to have a bathroom remodeled.

We were very pleased. Drop clothes were used in the house to protect work and walking areas. The work was finished in about 10 hours (one day), he cleaned up after himself and then hauled all of the old pieces/parts away. Would definitely use them again. Love my new bathroom!

It went very well. They are expensive but use high quality materials (and give you lots of options) and do excellent work.

The installer was very prompt and polite. He did an excellent job and really listened to my requests for things I needed done.

They charged me for replacing the whole floor when they only replaced part of it. When he was replacing tile, a piece of tile had fallen and made a gash in the floor. The old material was showing through from the tub surround around the faucet. They haven't come back to complete the flooring. I wanted the curved shower curtain rod but he installed the straight rod. Also, they charged me $500 for the fan and light which has 3 functions. Only one function works because he didn't hook it up properly. He hooked it up to the existing light switch and wants another $150 to hook it up like he should have to begin with. He charged me double for the light.
