BELIEVE THE BAD REVIEWS!! We wanted to make our own judgement! BELIEVE THEM! While the store had a great selection, my frame broke after being sat on about 12 times. Clearly a manufacturer defect. They took my couch to repair, brought it back still broke. The repairman came out, and still insisted it wasn’t broke. I had to get a level to prove the wood was split. Was told 4 weeks to get part, was unable to use my couch for whole holiday season. 6 weeks later, not hearing anything, I had to call to find out what was going on. I requested a new couch as this was only 4 months old. Spoke with owner, he said would take 8 months to get new couch, he would personally make sure this was fixed right. They brought my sofa back, the frame is fixed but the fabric looks awful and like a toddler stapled it. Not like a new couch. I called and requested the new couch again, and was told they would reach out to their rep and see what could be done. I heard from them and got the same “the rep is looking into it, we just wanted to keep you updated”. And now haven’T heard anything for almost 2 months. Horrible customer service!! The consumer shouldn’t have to keep reaching out, the company should be trying to make things right!

I have had an overall frustrating experience with Morgan Furniture. I bought a power recliner from Morgan Furniture toward the end of 2011. It broke just around the year mark, I could not put my feet up or down . I called Morgan 3 times leaving messages to get the repair, for two weeks I had done this without reply. I never got a return call. I tried a fourth time, I was livid and managed to talk to a person who apologized saying that the office hours had been varied at the time- not an excuse to leave customer messages unanswered for nearly 2 weeks! So she orders a new motor as it is often the cause of the problem in instances like this. I had to wait 5 weeks until the part came in and the repairman was scheduled to come in. The motor wasn't the problem. The repairman said he would need to replace the button. Another two weeks for the part to come in, he came and installed it, surprise that wasn't the problem anyways. So he said he would get some other part, I waited another 5 weeks he came to install it on 6/18/2013 and it finally worked. For TWO WEEKS ONLY. It just stopped working yesterday 7/7/2013. At this point I'm giving up on Morgan, they have good prices but if it takes 5 months to correctly fix a chair that stops working a little before you have had it a year, it's not worth it. Piece of crap product. I have learned not to buy powered furniture period, I have a powered recliner from Lazy Boy that broke as well but they repaired it and has since stayed repaired. Power furniture is not reliable enough in my opinion.

Vendor: Morgan Furniture Galleries, Niles, OH 1/19/13 I ordered a bedroom suit to be delivered in 2-3 weeks 4 max verbal from sales person. Bill of sale shows approximately 4-5 weeks, this is stock item from manufacturer not a custom order. At time of sale Gary (salesman) and woman behind desk could not get the bill right. They finally got it straight and I put ½ down in cash. Couple of hours later they called and said they still had it wrong and I would have to pay almost $175 more. 3 weeks after purchased called Morgan?s told all good with order and it should be in anytime. 2/18/13 - 5 weeks after purchase called woman (Lisa?) said she would contact factory and call back in ½ hour. She never called back. 2/20/13 ? Called again, spoke with Jennifer she would look into and call me back right away. Called her back hours later to be told it was on back order. She informed me I had no option. When I was not satisfied she told me she would speak with the manager, Mike at 1pm when she came in on 2/21/13 and call me. Of course no call received. 2/21/13 ? 3pm Called and spoke with Mr. Morgan (Jennifer had spoken with him the day before and he was informed of the problems) who was anything but helpful. He would email his contact next week as he was going away 2/22/13 and was not going to do it at this time. He then asked for my email and stated he would let me know if the delivery date could be moved up by email after 2/25/13. What a joke. Their lack of organization, customer service and communication is amazing. coma
