Paramount Heating & Air

Absolutely terrible! Worked with them on a $14,000 home A/C project that they botched. They caused damage to my house and didn't finish the project but proceeded to charge my credit card for the full amount without even contacting me. I then tried to contact them several times but they ghosted me. 1) They sold me on a unit that was 3X bigger than what I could have possibly ever needed. 4 tons for 1300 square feet. 2) They failed a city inspection because of poor installation and charge me for the reinspection. 3) Incredibly sloppy work. See photos. That is how they left it. Messy, unsealed holes into the house, damage to building... 4) Their installer put a nail through a wire causing $1,200 in rework that they refused to pay. 5) When they were finished, the A/C was installed in a way that shook the entire house causing dishes to rattle as it ran. Please avoid. These guys are unprofessional, disrespectful, dishonest, and simply not good at what they do.

In addition to the routine maintenance of my furnace, Ian Rowell was outstanding in getting my Nest thermostat and Nest app to work together again. He was professional, friendly, and very patient with me. Once he got the app and the thermostat linked back up he restored the settings I had.

Ryan Penn was very professional and did a great job! Definitely would recommend Paramount for all Heating and Cooling maintenance and repairs.

James has done a terrific job! Not just tune up the system but also let me know where the problems were and what I need to do! Walk me through all steps! Duct cleaning team was amazing as well! Arrived on time and performed the job thoroughly! Only caught one gentleman's name which is Aly but didn't get another one. Very polite and professional. Definitely will hire again!

They have been excellent, reliable, they give fast service and are extremely nice people. Every guy that comes out is very polite and knowledgeable and we would highly recommend them to anyone.

Paramount Heating and Air cleaned the air ducts in my house. I've been skeptical of air duct cleaning companies as the price they charge always seems to change on the day they arrive. There are various add-ons and up charges that they don't disclose ahead of time. Paramount Heating & Air did not do that. The price they quoted was the price that they charged. They arrived on time, were extremely courteous and professional. I would hire them again and happily recommend Paramount Heating & Air.

they were very nice and but they left right away without checking it if its working or not and I called them and they fixed it quickly. early in the morning.

It went really well. They were pretty quiet considering the work they were doing, had everything done in maybe 7 hours and were super clean. My laundry room looks so much nicer with the smaller more streamlined unit and I do notice the difference in the temperature of the house. They also installed a programmable thermostat and cleaned the vents.

The work was performed professionally, on-time as scheduled. The installers readily explained each step so there were no surprises, and asked for our preference when there were installation options. The installers cleaned up the work area nicely when finished. Overall, we are very happy with both the expert workmanship and the new furnace-A/C.

Matt gave a reasonable quote for several Aprilaire options. We went with the 500. When they arrived for installation, they had a different brand that they promised would be just as good. The two workers were great and installed in our basement quickly. Soon after, we noticed that the humidifier was leaking. I called Paramount, sent them a video of the leak, and the workers quickly returned. They admitted they weren't as familiar with this new brand, which was shipped to Paramount as a substitute for the Aprilaire. But they seemed to fix the leak (and were very apologetic). After a couple days, there was no noticeable improvement in humidity, which our gauge confirmed. So I increased the humidity. After several hours, we went back down and there was a massive leak, with water pooling all over the basement floor, soaking several boxes. I called Paramount, Matt himself came this time, and he agreed to swap our humidifier for the Aprilaire 500. The same two workers came, installed quickly (and apologized again), and showed me how to use everything. I just wish they had installed the Aprilaire in the first place--which was listed in the original quote--instead of a different humidifier that they weren't as familiar with (but they said that hadn't experienced any customer complaints about--this was the first time that such an incident happened with the first humidifer). But, overall, they were very good in responding and resolving. Since then, after noticeably increased humidity, the humidity level has dropped to around 30%, despite increasing the humidifier to around the 5 setting. I'm not sure if it's because it's been especially cold and dry, or the lack of insulation in our old house, but I was hoping that the humidifier would be able to compensate. So, I'm not sure if it was worth all the trouble to purchase this thing. I'm hoping it'll eventually improve. One COVID19 related issue: One of the workers (Hector, I believe) briefly pulled down his mask to speak with me in close quarters, something that made me feel uncomfortable. So consistently following proper mask protocol is something they can improve upon.

Would highly recommend. A mouse died in a vent. Their machine scrubbed the vents and sanitized. They did a great job and didn't mess up anything.

They arrived on time, texted beforehand so I knew when they were close. The workers were diligent and had things done in about an hour.

2 gentlemen showed up in the scheduled timeframe. Contacted 30min prior. Did a thorough job. Just a little debris left on the floors. Must have used some type of air freshener in process as the house smelled so much better afterwards. Only issue was a dryer vent not being inspected. They were not made aware from their staff of this issue prior to arrival. So it did not get repaired.

Perfectly. We asked questions via the Angie's message system we scheduled the appointment. They arrived on time and completed the job with efficiency and were super nice! My husband said he did a very, very good job. Super impressed. Would use again.

Tech A inspected furnace - ok. He noted problem with AC and recommended a new TXV. I asked him 3 times to open the cover of the duct where the coil is to ensure he was correct. He refused. Gave me a price of 1700. Negotiated lower price. Tech B comes to the house 2 days later opens the cover and Voila! No TXV valve at all! Piston type metering device for refrigerant. He came up with an alternate plan and got my system working. lowered price again. I pay by check it gets cashed same day. Then 4 days later I see another debit from my account - a direct withdrawal I did not authorize. I call the office and they say Oh yeah we saw that and have issued you a check "its in the mail". !!!! Tech B was the only bright spot in the entire encounter or this would be an F.

They were very professional. It was a tight, awkward space to work in and they got the job done quickly with a great attitude. We’re very happy with the results and would definitely hire them again.
