When I started the process of getting a replacement fence, I contacted 12 fence companies. I had 4 that actually showed up and gave me an estimate as I had requested, 2 of them gave me a "speculative" estimate, based on the lineal footage I had provided, then if I would ask them, they would come out and give me an actual estimate, 6 companies did not even bother to contact me. Ashlee Fence contacted me timely, came out very timely and gave me a detailed estimate on 2 different types of fencing, and it was a competitive estimate. The salesman, Gary, was neat and clean in appearance, knowledgeable about the products and services. He was driving a neat and clean truck with the company logo, and was overall very professional! I elected to go with Ashlee Fence, and sent them the required deposit for the to order the type and color of Aluminum fencing I wanted, and based on my conversation with Gary, I requested a specific installer and when I wanted it installed, both of which were honored without any hassle. The day of the installation, Jeremy and Mason showed up at the time I was told they'd be here, and performed a job I had estimated would take 2 days, in about 7 hours. Both of the installers were personable, very mannerly, and very respectful of my home and property. They cleaned up everything very nicely and I watched Mason, even go around and wide any dirt off the fence from the installation. The fence Ashlee installed is BEAUTIFUL! Jeremy told me when he started, it would transform my back yard, and he was right! My brother lives next door to me, so they are looking at the fence each time they look out their rear windows, and he and his wife are still talking about it, my neighbor 2 houses down came over just to compliment how nice the fence looks, and I'm extremely pleased with it. I have dealt with other fence companies in the past, and with this project, Ashlee is without a dought, the best company to deal with, from start to finish.

I requested proposals from 3 fence companies via Angies List. Only one ever contacted me. Ashlee Fence was one of the companies that I never heard from.

We called several companies for bids and Ashlee came right away and bid arrived in email right away. After that it went downhill. We wanted to see actual vinyl fencing so that we could best choose which we wanted, particularly given the cost. We were told we would need to visit the Ashlee showroom in Morrow and could see the samples. Because of their hours (M-F til 5), and the fact that we work during the day, we made an appt to go over lunch and rearranged our schedule around the time they gave us. When we got there, the man we had been working with forgot that we were coming (and told us that). In addition, there were only two color samples in the 'showroom', and neither was the one we had gone to see and that he knew we were interested in. We asked if there were any samples of the color we wanted and he said something like, 'these displays are really expensive, we can't carry every color'. Our time and effort are also really valuable and we drove from Cincinnati to Morrow because he told us to, not because we wanted to. We told him we were definitely interested in the product but would like to see a sample. He told us that he would contact the vendor and ask them to send us a small sample by mail. We weren't thrilled with the experience but tried not to be too grumpy because we liked the brand they carried. We asked when we could schedule the job and offered to pay half that day. That was March 14. A month later and we haven't received any samples, nor have we had any contact at all from Ashlee. Needless to say, we're moving on to another company.

Best price I found- took a couple of weeks longer to get out then originally quoted but no big deal (lots of rain). Also, they drilled through my electric to garage and were not apologetic about it- so have to get that fixed. Otherwise great job and fence looks great.

They did a great job. A's all the way around. They were prompt, reliable and clean.  They did the best quote in the whole city.  It's a local business. The guy was great.  I would absolutely use them again.

2-3 guys set the posts one day and then they came back 2 or 3 days later and finished the job. There was a problem with some of the posts being in my neighbors property but they were able to fix the issue when they came out the second time.

They got the job done one day. The 3 guys that came were very quick and professional. There was a spot in our yard that sloped slightly and the one guy was very good at explaining how he was going to change where the fencing went so that the gate to the fencing would align properly.  They came about 930 and were done by 530. They cleaned up after themselves very well. We are very pleased and have gotten several compliments from family and neighbors. From the time we first got the estimate until they were able to come out was about a month but we were calling during their busy time(summer) so we expected a wait of some kind. We weren't in any hurry. Workers were very polite and professional. A++ job all around!!

They showed up when they were supposed to. Did as good a job as possible matching up last years fence with the new fence. I certainly wish I would have had Ashlee install the whole thing. Sure it would have been beautiful.

The Ashlee installers did a great job. They were very professional and delivered on all their promises. They took alot of pride in their workmanship. I highly recommend them and would use them again.

The guys showed up in the morning, on time, and in the snow.  Installed a beautiful privacy fence and were finished and cleaned up everything by 3;30 that afternoon. Gary was a pleasure to deal with, they did a great job and the price was very reasonable.  I would highly recommend their company if you have a project.

The whole process was very professionally accomplished from start to finish.  The quote was sent to me quickly, and the work was performed in a reasonable time frame.  The work crew was extremely professional, and friendly.  I'm very happy with the quality of the service and the product.  I was very impressed, overall.  I highly recommend them.

The representative came out almost immediately after we called the company. The price was reasonable, and we called to make arrangements for the fence to be built. The crew came early in the morning the day after they'd been scheduled to start, and while 2 gentlemen unloaded the truck, the 3rd walked the fence line with me and made sure he knew exactly what I wanted and offered suggestions for problem areas. The posts were set that day and 2 days later the fence was completed. We were very happy with the finished product. About a month later, one of the rails bowed badly, pushing the top of the fence out quite a bit. Ashlee came out within a couple of days and replaced it. Overall, our experience with this company has been very good and we would hire them again without hesitation

From the initial visit by the salesman for an estimate through to the clean-up of the final work, I thought the whole process was very clean and professional.  I had another company come out and give me an estimate.  The price was the same but the other company was going to use pine.  I wanted the cedar that Ashlee uses.  The fence line had to be moved from where the old, original fence had been.  I cleaned the grass and brush and marked the line that ended up being about 2 feet off the old line.  The workers made the new fence line even straighter than I had marked it.  I was able to stay at home while they built the new fence and observed that the workers would occasionally discard a picket if it was warped or cracked before nailing it to the fencing.  That was good to see.  It's no wonder to me that there are at least 4 new Ashlee fences in my neighborhood.

The job overall went well.

They were prompt. They came in on time. We had a post that was damaged because a tree fell on it. They replaced that post and continued with the project and finished the project on time. They were very friendly and nice.

After a preliminary phone estimate I scheduled an on-site appointment. They did not show up at their appointment. They never called to apologize or reschedule. I will never contact them again.

The installers were men I wouldn't even think of inviting into my house. Very unprofessional looking, poor communication. They showed up a day late with no notification. The installation process was not accurately described, and it took several days longer than estimated for the installation to be completed. The fence posts were installed in a straight line, thankfully, but the placement of the pickets was not even measured - they just eyeballed it, so there is uneven spacing between pickets. The quality of the wood has also turned out to be poor (I've had this fence for about 18 months now). It's supposed to be cedar but quickly weathered and became so weak that my 30 pound dog can break through it. There were also 4 gates installed - 3 of which I have had to fix myself because they were poorly built and installed. The 4th is rarely used, so I anticipate that I will be fixing that one as well someday. No way would I recommend this company to anyone.

Responded promptly to call, professional interaction & reasonable quote. Work crew showed up on time, discussed details & went about their business. I was very pleased with the whole experience & the finished product. I would highly recommend.

It went very well. They are very courteous and did a great job. I am very pleased with them.

Overall, the job was excellent. Chris in the office assisted in the preplaning phase. We faxed drawings of what we would like and she estimated the job acurately. Chris was exceptional in meeting our needs and answering all our questions. The fence was installed on the date told by Chris, no rain. It went well even though a neighbor gave his own directions to the crew. The crew worked hard in hot temperatures and did not even leave for lunch. Excellent work! A few things to keep in mind: 1. I was not told prior to the work that I would need to move the dirt away from the holes and haul off to the woods. Four wheel barrels and a broken back all dirt was removed by myself (not a great experience). 2. The crew smoked and left butts all over the yard that I had to remove. 3. The crew did not clean up the driveway after fixing the cement. We had a gravel and dust to remove after they left. 4. The crew did not clean up the wood pieces after cutting the fence. 5. No shirts.

We had a wonderful experience with Ashlee. The company was quick to send a representative out for an estimate & they were extremely cooperative as we changed the date of our installation several times due to additional work that we wanted to complete on our yard prior to having a fence installed. Once they came to do the work, a team of 3 gentlemen arrived & spent 2 days working on the project. One day to dig & set the posts and the next day to put up the fence, gates & vinyl coated wire. It was amazing to me how quickly they got the job done! All of the employees were very professional, from start to finish. Chris in the office was extremely helpful. We would recommend Ashlee to anyone looking for a good quality fence at a reasonable price.

They were on time and worked until the job was nearly complete, despite the misting rain. 95% of the fence was up in one day. They were short a set of hinges and some wire, and returned a few days later (again due to rain) to complete the job. They were professional, reasonably priced and the fence looks very nice.
