The guy was friendly, punctual and professional. He was here maybe a half hour. It was really a sales job to get more work. Said he wanted to be my "house doctor" who I call whenever I need work to be done. But when I asked for a quote to paint my deck he referred me to another company. That company said "I'll send my wife out to take pictures and get you a quote tonight" I never got a quote.

Don't buy a deal from Angie's list. He tells you up front he is really busy. If you do get scheduled he does not show up.

Very pleased. Ed was prompt and professional and gave us an estimate in a timely manner. They did a very thorough and neat job. Cleaned up site when work was completed.

Both those things were done very well.

It was significantly overpriced. They did less than we understood they would be doing. Each time, I interacted with them it was a different experience. When we told them we felt like we were missing something, we just never talked to them again. They did not get back to us. What they did do, they did a perfectly good job on. What was written in the scope of the work, we thought he would do more than he did. He did a good job; I can't fault the work that they did. I guess we interpreted as different I guess. When my husband called and mentioned it, he said he would come look at it, but he didn't. When you don't respond to someone I guess that's not professional.

I did have them do some work, which they did a great job on. The home inspection itself, I think was probably not worth it. He was there for all of 20 minutes. So, I wouldn't say that was worth it, but the work they did for me was done very well and very reasonably. I don't know if it matters, I just think if you do a contract with them to do work, I think they should put the value of that $100 inspection towards it really or give a credit which they don't. Like I said he really didn't have anything to do. I think that was really not a good value. I just don't think it was a good value.

It went well. Some shingles could not be replaced because the shingles are too brittle and would crack

The owner, Eddie, was great. He went over the time for which I had pre-paid through Angie's List, saying he'd rather do the job well. He was honest about the condition of my roof. He took pictures to show me the repairs. Whenever I need any additional work, I will be contacting EMA Construction.

They did a great job and I am pleased with the services.

The work was done professionally and as quickly as possible considering the weather. The roof was repaired, shingles replaced, and a new gutter installed. We are very pleased with their work, and would definitely hire them again.

Jamie came out promptly to provide an estimate. Extremely professional, knowledgable, and helpful. He pointed out that the leak was likely due to a small gap between the roof and gutter. While doing the estimate for gutter replacement, he fixed the gap without asking for anything. I was very impressed with this gesture and his honesty. I definitely will use their services in the future.

Terribly. The individual who came out informed my wife the minute he arrived that he couldn't touch the gutters because it would void the warranty. We didn't want gutter work. He was up and down to the damaged roof in exactly one minute. His company doesn't do that kind of repair work (roofing). Gone in 5 minutes. $89. I would not use this company without a deposit from them guaranteeing what they understood the job to be, when it would be done, and then agreed to an independent inspection.

Even though my husband and I had a miscommunication regarding the color, they quickly compensated and gave us the color we needed. It was 100% our error but they worked with us to make us happy, and got all new material at the last minute! They were not unhappy with us, telling us they can use it on another job! Amazing!

EMA construction was very responsive and did a professional job.

Eddie allowed me to change the time I had originally requested. He found problems I didn't know about and fixed them along with the problems I pointed out. He reviewed a roof replacement quote I had from a competitor and advised when the roof would need to be replaced. A true professional!

Eddie responded right away when I contacted him for an exterior inspection package offer I purchased on Angie's list. He fixed a couple of gutter problems. One downspout had to be re-attached. Another section had bent down from the weight of ice from the winter season and had to be re-attached. He checked all of the gutter system to make sure it was draining properly. Very pleased with EMA and would highly recommend.

This company was great. Provided photos and honest advice. Very punctual and courteous. Would definitely hire again!

Jamie was quite early, and I did wish to be home while the service was being completed. I had scheduled appointment to allow time for me to travel to a hardware store on the way home from work to pick up supplies to further make the repair beyond what was included in the service. I received a missed call from him and by the time I had called back he had completed the service, and I had to come straight home. To be honest, I do not know how long Jamie was on location. Jamie did wait for my arrival to review the service. Other than this, he was professional and did quality work within the service agreement. I will still need to replace some of the pieces I was unable to purchase prior to the service being completed.

Jamie arrived on time and attached the gutter, but explained there was a problem with the way the gutter was attached at the end of the house with no down spout. He and his assistant fixed the entire gutter along the back of the house and even cleaned out some gunk that had accumulated despite the screens that were supposed to prevent that. They did a great job and I would definitely hire them again!

Showed up right on time and got right to it. Finished in two hours and review the work for me. Labor is guaranteed for a year. Will probably hire again for new gutters next spring.

We contacted EMA - Eddie - to come out and review our siding issues. We were pressed for time because we are having the exterior of our home painted and didn't want to have any further problems due to rotten siding. Eddie was out within a day to assess our siding repair needs! Eddie spent time with us going over what we knew was a problem and also identified additional findings as a result of his inspection! Eddie promised us a quote before the end of the week, but we had the estimate within 24 hours of his inspection! We had a few questions for Eddie and those were responded to with immediate consideration! Surprisingly, Eddie was able to dispatch his crew sooner than expected and the work is to be completed today - even with all of the rain over the last 2 weeks, EMA was eager to chase the storms away so that they would be able to finish promptly! "Lee" performed the skillful repairs, while patiently answering any questions we had about his findings when he tore down the damaged areas. We were able to see "behind the siding" damage and better understand the steps to address and restore the exterior of our home to its pristine condition! The assessment that Eddie performed initially revealed unexpected roof damage to a full "square" of our roof! Eddie provided a few quick pictures that demonstrated the immediate need for this area to be torn off and replaced ASAP. Fortunately, we had a few bags of shingles to match and this work was the first priority when the EMA crew arrived! We can't be more pleased with this experience! We found everyone we encountered to be very personable, polite, skilled, professional and all around comfortable to work with! Everyone was available to address any questions or concerns we had and that sort of customer responsiveness isn't commonplace in our experience these days! Many thanks to EMA Construction for the outstanding responsiveness, professionalism and great work! We will not hesitate to call you again for future projects!

Jamie had to reschedule orig time due to the rainy days. on new appt he arrived two hours early without calling. we had asked him to call before coming but he didnt, but luckily my husband was at home at that time. it went well, and he took pictures and sent them via text to us, and promised to send us the estimate for the needed repairs outside of the gutter repairs he made. he also put our chimney cap back on at no charge while he was on roof. this was a nice touch. he stated a couple of shingles need to be replaced before leaks occur, we shall see what the estimate will be when it comes.
