He actually found nothing wrong, but it did start.

They are always on time and polite. Geothermal has been working well so I assume they are doing a good job!

These guys were great! Starting with the first phone call to the end when they left my home. I have nothing but positive things to say about this company and its workers. When I called they were very professional and down to the point. They sent a consultant come to my home within days to give me a estimate. This gentleman was very professional and polite. When he arrived he spelled it all out for us in terms my wife and I could understand. He explained ALL of our options and let us choose. This was very important to us. He was also very understanding about how we felt about price and gave us a financing option which help us out! When he was here he also explained about the company and how far the have come and grown over the years. He showed us all the warranties that came with our new unit, but also what comes with your business. These explained that you as a costumer are safe and they keep their word on their work, the units, your safety, and the company as a whole. When they came to my home "two days later" the technicians were very professional also. They placed down mats in the home so my carpet would not get ruined. Everything they moved they put back before they left. They also explained the unit to my wife and I so we understood what we were getting and how to use this new system. They cleaned up after themselves after they left inside and out. All these things made it very simple for us and also gave us a peace of mind about our choice. They were in and out in one day. They were always on time if not early for everything we needed. They also offer a maintenance service with there units so you don't have to worry about doing some of the cleaning and upkeep on your own. We are so happy with our decision and would give these guys a A+. We have already recommended them to one of our friend and will continue to recommend them to everyone who needs any work done in this area!

They check my furnace I have a contract with them I have dual thermo heat they check the furnace before the air conditioning season and before the heating season. I've been using them for nineteen years.

One Hour servicemen showed up promptly to repair our furnace, but after having another local HVAC contractor look at our unit three days later, was told we were charged twice as much as we should have been for these parts and service. We were pressured by One Hour to purchase a "membership," and also told we needed to buy a new unit (which was accurate- our system is 18 years old). If we purchased the new unit within 3 days, we would be "credited" the "reduced" price of the $800 repairs (we were orignally charged over $1000 for the repairs before the "membership"). The sales rep started out quoting us units for $12,000, but were eventually dropped to $8000. More high-pressure tactics were used to try to get us to sign that night (a $2400 sale would be ending the next day, etc.). Shame on us for not doing our homework. We are now going to be getting a new Trane heating and AC unit installed for $4500 when we were quoted $8000 for an inferior unit. Lesson learned: ALWAYS get a second opinion! I am glad I trusted my gut on this one and saved $4000!

The technician did an inspection and determined that the water flow pumps were failing and needed replaced. He stated that they cost $1500 at the club price. He also stated that the furnaces were old and probably failing and it would be a better investment to replace the furnaces. He called his supvervisor to set up a meeting at my home to discuss which option would be best. That weekend before the meeting I went online looking to determine if this price and analysis made sense. When I joined Angie's List I found some disturbing comments about this company. Subsequently on Monday I made a call to another contractor, who was an authorized dealer for the brand of furnace that I have, and told them that I had a problem and wanted them to come out and look at the units. I did not tell them what had already transpired. The new tech from the new conmpany came out did a thorough inspection and checked the flow pressure on the units. He diagnosed the problem as incorrect pressure settting on the one unit. I then asked about the pumps and furnaces - he said there was nothing wrong with the units or pumps and wanted to know where I got that idea. He made the pressure adjustment and everything has worked fine since then. I called the first company and told them what transpired and that I was unhappy and cancelling the contract. I got no response other than OK and put the cancellation in writing which I did.

The 2 installers arrived on time, worked diligently the whole day, courteous, clean, respectful and absolute excellent experience from start to finish.

The service tech arrived at 8:45 AM, they had given me a window from 8 - 10 AM. He appeared very friendly and professional. After he checked the furnace and air conditioning unit, he told me, that I needed refrigerant, plus a single pole contact replaced. The current one was not malfunctioning, but "might" soon. As I don't know anything about air conditioning units, I told him to go ahead and do the repairs. So far so good. However, when it came time to pay, I told the tech that I had a coupon that stated any new customer would have a free service call with repairs. He then told me, that this coupon was only good for emergencies. When I tried to tell him that it did not state anywhere on the coupon, he told me again that I could get the service call for the other coupon I had for a $49 charge. Then the tech tried to sell me on their "service club" as this would give me a discount for the total charges. I told him, not at this time as I am on Social Security and simply cannot afford it at this time. He then said, I can put it on a monthly credit card deduction. I told him again, not right now, maybe later in the Fall, and he then stated that the cost goes up if i paid annually, whereas it would not go up if he used my credit card for monthly deductions. I did not sign up for this, even though he tried to convince me of the benefits and I resent this kind of high -pressure sales tactics. I would never recommend a company that has to have their techs try to pressure-sell you something you don't want., and I will never use this company again.

We would need to call them every few months. They would blame the problem on us or change parts that would temporarily resolve the problem. We really needed some one to go throughth the system completely. Eventually went to another company - Air Comfort, and they are doing a great job explaining the issues we are having and resolving them. One thing they did explain is that the vents going to the second floor are half the size of those going to the first floor. This is our main problem now and it is always too hot upstairs and freezing downstairs. Would need $$ to repair and re-do the ventelation. Thank you One-Hour, I hope NO One uses your services again.
