Marshall Carpet One

Our sales rep Cindy was very professional and patient as we figured out how many rooms we could afford to redo. She gave us multiple estimates on different combinations of rooms and always responded promptly to our calls and emails. She was also very friendly, giving our toddler animal crackers when we had to bring her into the showroom with us one day. Mario, who measured the space, was also very professional. The installers worked really hard and did an excellent job. We are very happy with the new carpet and would use this company again.

After informing Marshall Carpet of our problems (water stain on a part of the carpeting that had to be replaced), Marshall Carpet offered the services of its representative to assess the problem, and if necessary, to replace the segment, without charge, with part of the excess segments we possessed from the original installation. Its representative did so without charge. It was a very pleasant surprise. The original installation was very professional, and the subsequent service, months later, was testimony to the care Marshall Carpet has for the customers.

The actual installation went fine, but we had a hard time actually scheduling a time. We needed to have it installed on a Saturday (not during the week), and we made this clear to them when before we purchased. They said no problem. But then later when we scheduled, they refused to schedule on a Saturday. Eventually they relented, but it was a frustrating experience. The other frustrating thing was the installers complained over and over about having to install carpet on a 3rd floor. They also rushed through it and the quality wasn't perfect (but, admittedly, it was fine for the price).

It was a good experience, I do not have anything negative to say. I pulled out the old carpet myself to save a little money. They prepped the floor and laid new tackwood where needed. They have very good people skills. It was a very good price.

Mary Zella was very accommodating in sales, even giving us samples to take home. The measurer arrived on time and in a company car so there was no doubt as to who was knocking at our door. The installers had a cancellation and called to be sure they could come early. All the work was completed promptly. So far it looks fine.

Outstanding service from walking through the door to meet the sales rep all the way to paying the final invoice. Installers had to move multiple pieces of furniture to complete the installation and did so complaint free.

They did an excellent job on the the installation and the carpet seems to be quality goods. They also did an excellent job on the vinyl in the kitchen. The salesman was very polite and courteous and I really enjoyed doing business with them.

They were extremely helpful & nice while I was their but their prices were a little high. I may use them in the future depending on their pricing, otherwise they were quiet helpful.

Helpful when I went to the salesroom. Every person from the man who came to measure to the installer were on time and courteous. Got reminder call when they were showing up. Excellent experience.

Very Poor. Ten years ago we contracted Marshall Carpet to do all the flooring (carpet and laminate) for our new house. The job they performed was generally good, but not without problems; it was roughly a $6,000 job. We were pleased enough to expect we would select them this year to replace the carpet. The salesperson, Gary Humberson, was less than interested in the products Marshall's sold; he was more interested talking about his recent vacation. After we got the estimate he asked that we get back to him if others had lower bids and he would respond. We did, although his bid was well over $1,000 more than two others on a $3-4,000. job. He made no response and refused to explain his bid which combined items together while other bidders provided specific line entries. He apparently never wanted a sale; he didn't get it. We will never return to Marshall Carpet as a result of this interaction.

Met me at the house. Very professional. Had a nice showroom with many selections.

Price was reasonable and I had a good experience with them.

The installers arrived on time. The work was performed to my satisfaction. The entire process took less time than I anticipated.

SOMETHING BROKE UNDER OUR SINK IN THE KITCHEN. CAME OUT TO DO REPAIR. FIXED ANY PROBLEMS MEASURED CAREFULLY, TOOK DIGITAL PHOTOS. NO HIGH PRESSURE SALES.

REQUIRED EXPERT INSTALLATION & MARSHALL'S HAD EXPERTS AVAILABLE TO DO THIS WORK. THE PATTERN OF THE CARPET WAS INTRICATE & REQUIRED A GENIUS TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO CUT & PUT IT TOGETHER WITHOUT USING LOTS OF EXTRA CARPET. CAREFUL PAINSTAKING LABOR TOOK TWO DAYS TO COMPLETE. CLEAN UP WAS GREAT. LEFT OVER PIECES A MINIMUM.

IT TOOK THEM 5 MONTHS TO GET THE CARPETING IN, AND THE INSTALLER WAS EXTREMELY PICKY REQUIRING MULTIPLE VISITS TO FIND THE RIGHT FIT TO DO THE JOB. THOUGH IT GOT DONE AND DONE WELL, THE JOB WAS TOO PROTRACTED AND PAINFUL.

OUR INITIAL CONTACT WITH MARSHALL CARPET'S SALESMAN, GARY, WAS EXCELLENT -- BUT GARY WENT ON VACATION AND WE HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO GET ANOTHER SALES PERSON'S ATTENTION, WHEN WE HAVE TRIED TO FOLLOW UP ON THE VERBAL ESTIMATE WE RECEIVED. WE WERE PUZZLED THAT WE DIDN'T GET A WRITTEN ESTIMATE -- SO WE FOLLOWED UP ON THE PHONE AND THEN VISITED THE STORE AGAIN TO TRY TO DISCUSS OUR NEEDS, BUT THE SALES STAFF, IN THE STORE, WASN'T INTERESTED IN TALKING TO US ABOUT A JOB THAT COULD WELL BE OVER $5,000!

MARK WEIN OF MARSHALL CARPET WAS KIND ENOUGH TO HELP ME SCHEDULE MIKE VERY QUICKLY TO GET THIS WORK DONE AND DID NOT CHARGE ME A DIME! THE EMPLOYEES OF MARSHALL CARPET & TILE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN VERY PROFESSIONAL AND CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED. NEXT TIME WE NEED ANY FLOORING PRODUCTS I WILL BE SURE TO CONTACT THEM AGAIN.

MARY ZELLA AND MARC WEIN ARE ALWAYS WILLING TO GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO HELP YOU AND MAKE YOU FEEL SPECIAL. THE INSTALLERS ARE THE BEST IN THE CITY. SEAMS ARE ALWAYS PERFECT. MY WHOLE HOUSE WAS DONE BY THEM WHEN FIRST BUILT. SOME OF THE ORIGINAL CARPET STILL LOOKS GREAT AFTER RAISING 3 KIDS. TIME FOR A CHANGE, AND I WILL GO NOWHERE ELSE.

THEY GAVE ME A PRICE BEFOREHAND FOR THE BEDROOM CARPET ($1200). THEY SAID TO TRUST THEM ON THE PRICE FOR THE KITCHEN. AFTER JOB WAS STARTED THEY HAVE CHARGED ME DOUBLE WHAT EXPECTED FOR THE KITCHEN FLOOR ($1780). WORK AND QUALITY ARE EXCELLENT, BUT YOU MUST GET A PRICE BEFORE THE JOB IS STARTED. THIS IS WHY I HAVE SELECTED THE ABOVE OVERALL GRADE.

ALLOWED US TO TAKE SAMPLE BOOKS HOME TO TEST COLORS BEFORE DECIDING ON THE CARPET WE WANTED.

I WILL HIRE THEM FOR FUTURE WORK. THEY WERE VERY EASY TO WORK WITH AND VERY ACCOMMODATING.

THE TWO YOUNG MEN WHO DID THE WORK WERE EXCELLENT AND WORKED WITHOUT A BREAK FOR FIVE SOLID HOURS. THEY CUT AND ROLLED UP THE OLD CARPETING IN THE SIZE REQUIRED FOR PICK UP BY THE CITY AND CARRIED IT TO MY GARAGE FOR ME. I COULDN'T BE MORE PLEASED.
