He started off by giving me the worst case scenario before he did anything. I got a little worried about the job but everything turned out well. He was able to fix everything. I had a little bit of anxiety because of what could happen, but he said he would rather have you know about that before hand.

It went fine. He told me the price before hand and that's what I payed. He came on the day and at the time he was supposed to and got the job done quickly. He was quick, professional, and reasonable.

This was the third attempt to fix by us and another plumber so Mr. Laux is smarter than the average plumber, he is also efficient and explains what he is doing.

It went great. It only took two hours to complete. It was an emergency repair, and they came out within a few hours with a new unit and fixed it quickly.

I discovered water dripping into my basement in two places and determined that it was from the bathrooms. Mr. Laux responded to my phone call and determined that some bolts were not tightened properly when the toilets were installed. I have not had any trouble since.

Service was prompt, professional and informative. He explained what happened and how it would be avoided when the repair was done.

Our garage drains had been backing up from all the rain lately, making quite a mess. We called Mr. Laux, since he did a great job on a prior plumbing repair in the house. He was on time, friendly & professional again. The working conditions weren't great--it was hot, humid day & he spent several hours in a small garage fighting tree roots & other little objects that were blocking the drains. He remained good natured however, and successfully cleared one drain entirely and got the other cleared to a pipe separation. He worked the whole time & was very efficient. He had some very good advice about how to handle the situation--we have benefited from his suggestions with other plumbing issues in our 100 yr old house--given our budget. He was very patient with our many questions. He also took a look a some other issues we need to deal with in the future in the house plumbing, and mentioned that our basement was at risk of water damage from a sump pump failure (there's no other drains in it)--I checked our homeowner policy & we weren't covered, so we obtained that coverage & made plans to replace the old sump pump. With the issues that come up with a 100 yr old home, we're just really glad we've found a plumber like Mr. Laux--his work is great, and the advice is valuable as well.

Jerry was very professional and on time. He gave me an estimate and charged me exactly as quoted. He came within a week of calling and completed the job promptly. I now can use my backyard faucet and have an additional one of the side of the house!

We felt good about this from the start: the plumber was friendly yet professional. Our house is 100 yrs old, and a lot of our plumbing, wiring, etc is out of date & difficult to work on. We gained access to pipes by removing part of the ceiling under the bath ourselves(saved $), and Mr. Laux did the plumbing work quickly and efficiently. I thought the price was excellent. Also, Mr Laux noticed the joists were badly damaged from a prior "remodel", a dangerous situation we were able to repair ourselves. He also suggested we insulate our copper pipes while we have access to them--all good advice & much appreciated.

Great! I called him in the morning and he was able to come out about three hours later to fix the clogged drain. He fixed the drain in under an hour and even provided tips on how to avoid future drainage problems. He was very nice and made sure everything was clean after he was finished.

Jerry was very professional. He set up an appointment with us right away to fix the problem, arrived on time and called to tell us when he would be in route that day. Worked was performed professionally and without delay. Jerry also answered additional questions for future plumbing needs. We would definitely hire Jerry and Laux plumbing again. He told us up front what the price would be and we felt it was reasonable for the work performed.

Did the work well and he had to coordinate the work with my tenants. He got pretty muddy as the leak left a pool of water he had to go through to get it fixed, not to mention how he had to crouch down to do the work. He was careful about not tracking mod into the house. I almost felt bad about asking for the Angie's List discount he was giving as he had a good price to begin with. I'd hire again in a heartbeat.

Great! He broke the stereotype - at least for us - of the price gouging, dirty, unprofessional plumber often seen on TV and movies.

Mr. Laux came to repair a leaky toilet for us. He was punctual and worked quickly. While he was here, I asked his professional opinion about installing a new shower system, and he was able to give us some candid feedback about why the system we were interested in wouldn't work well for our bathroom. Would hire him again.

I was very impressed with the guy he had a reasonable rate. He worked fast. I called him back and had him install valves and a copper line to the water dispenser on my refrigerator. I'm very impressed with the work. I was getting a slow leak from one of the valves and he came right back and fixed it. The valves were $114. Cost is for sink that got fixed.

He was professional from the time he walked in the door. The project was completed in a timely fashion. He gave us great advice regarding future plumbing projects we may undertake and his price was reasonable.

Jerry returned call quickly and scheduled appointment for the same week. He came out and assessed all of the problems and got right to work fixing things. He needed to run out and pick up a new marble slab for the half bathroom toilet and came right back. Everything was quick and professional and the price was very reasonable.

I called and was able to set up an appointment fairly quickly. The day the work was scheduled Mr. Laux was scheduled to arrive at 11 and called to say he would be a little late, which I appreciated. When he arrived he told me what the repairs would cost. My house is older so repairs are never easy. A few days later I was still having a problem with the toilet and he came back the next day to fix it at no cost.
