Jerry Laux and his son came together and made the repair. The repair time was much shorter than what I had anticipated (only took 20 minutes). The brief repair time shows their expertise, and they know what they are doing. They were very professional and explained the options for fixing the broken handle including cost estimates. Provided a 90 day gaurantee on their work. I would highly recommend them.

After calling many plumbers with mixed responses as to whether or not the respective companies serviced Springboro, Jerry came out to give me an estimate. Living in an a 162 year old house poses many unique issues. Jerry clearly understood what needed to be done to install the spigot as well as suggested a couple of other minor fixes which would bring my house closer in line with current codes. Much of the plumbing and HVAC work done in our house prior to us purchasing it was done done cheaply (to say the least). There was a need to contact the water company and Jerry contacted them on our behalf to make sure the proper instructions were communicated to them. The day of the installation, Jerry and his son arrived on time and worked diligently to complete the job. This was not a simple task which involved getting into the crawl space under our house. Considering the amount of time and dirty nature of the job, Jerry's price was more than reasonable. Both Jerry and his son were polite and fully explained everything that needed to be done throughout the process. We have more plans for our house and will only use Laux Plumbing for them.

We developed a leak in an older faucet which would not turn off. The constant flow was substantial enough to prompt me to turn off the water main on an overnight basis. I called Laux Plumbing and they were able to come out within a day or two. They arrived promptly and in a jiffy replaced parts of the valve assembly restoring it to like new condition. They also gladly performed a miscellaneous quick job in another bathroom. I'd recommend these guys to anyone and will for sure call them again if I ever need a plumber in the future.They were prompt, friendly and cheerful, professional and cost effective.

We're first time home owners and from much warmer climates so when we turned on our hose after leaving it hooked up all winter, we were surprised and disappointed to find ice had split the pipe connecting the faucet. Thankfully our basement is unfinished and it was clear where the water leaking from. I called Laux Plumbing after reading reviews here. I can't remember if I spoke with Mr. Laux directly when I called but the gentleman was friendly, gave me a (spot-on) ballpark estimate, and scheduled me for the next afternoon. Mr. Laux called about 30 minutes before our scheduled appointment to let me know he was on his way. He and his son effectively replaced the pipe and the faucet and were done in under an hour. They cleaned up after themselves and were extremely courteous. No games. Not a dollar over their initial estimate. No hassle. I wish every transaction with a contractor was this pleasant!

Left message on Sunday. Mr. Laux returned my call that evening and scheduled for next day since kitchen sink was clogged. He called 15 minutes before arrival as scheduled. Came in, assessed the situation. Explained how he knew and what should be done. Answered all my questions, quoted a price for the drain clean out and got to work. He investigated what I thought was a leaking pipe - he said it was from the drain clog, no leak was there. No need to do anything to it. Jerry Laux is honest, dependable, and good! Finally I have a plumber I can call and know I will get only what needs to be done!

Overall experience was very cordial and positive. Jerry was able to schedule a visit on short notice. He and his son arrived on time. They brought the new pump and required supplies for the replacement with them. They were very efficient and knew what they were doing. Excellent Job!

Awesome. Does GREAT work. Laux Plumbing has done multiple jobs for us, each job has been outstanding. In the past Laux has replaced a faulty sump pump, added a gas line for washer / dryer, and more. We recommend Laux to everyone.

On Sunday night I went downstairs to find the stationary tubs filled with water from the washing machine. On Monday my son & I took apart the PVC pipes but were unable to locate the blockage. I called Mr. Laux on Monday night & he was available the next morning. Due to another appointment I had he said he would try to arrrive early, which he was able to do. They worked for about 45 minutes, cleared the drains and also re-glued the PVC pipe & made sure everything worked perfectly. The did a great job, for a great price & did it quickly. I won't hesitate to call them the next time I need help.

Laux was recommended by neighbors and checked out on Angies List, so I called them. Came on time, diagnosed the issue and fixed it quickly. Tenant reports no subsequent problem. Guys were friendly and professional. Done in less than an hour.

Called Mr. Laux on Monday AM and, since the leak was small, set an appt. for Wednesday afternoon. Mr. Laux and son arrived promptly and fixed the leak plus added a bypass valve I asked for at the last minute. Friendly, good work, nice folks. I would make use of them again.

Mr. Laux was able to fit me into his schedule a day earlier than originally scheduled. He replaced the defective toilet wax ring quickly. Work was done very professionally and at great convenience to me.

The service was quick, convenient and cordial. The price was very fair. Discussion of work was helpful and professional. Will definitely use again.

I called Tuesday and talked Jerry about a broken part in a toilet tank. He was able to come out Wednesday and fix it.

Jerry Laux came out with his son to replace an outside sill faucet that had broken. He call ahead of schedule and asked if he could come out and perform the needed work. He performed the work, using better materials that what I could find, installed the faucet, cleaned up after himself and did a wonderful job. He explained what he had to do, walked me through the steps, was very friendly, and left me feeling that I got and a great job and a fair price. I was expecting to pay far more, but Jerry was very fair about his prices, and what he charged. I now have a new plumber ! AAAA++++

He was a nice guy, but never got us a quote.

I called Jerry Laux on Wednesday, Aug.31,2011 because my water pressure regulator was making a terrible noise everytime we opened a faucet. He said he could not come until Friday at 9:am. I said ok because I felt we could stand some noise for another day. However, the next day, Thursday, I noticed that our water heater was leaking a lot in the catch basin and a lot of water is gushing into the drain. I called him again and he said he will be in the house within the hour. He was just finishing another job. He came with his son and checked my water pressure and it was very high, approx. 150 psi, so he immediately changed the pressure regulator. He then checked my water heater and said it was no longer functional and then he gave me two quotations on a 50 and a 75 gal. heater. I decided on a 75 gal heater similar in capacity to my old one and he said he will order it and have it delivered the next day. It was delivered the next day early. I called him and he and his son were at the house within the hour and started to work on it. They then got it finished, I would say, very quickly. Afterwards they cleaned up very well. I felt the work was not only well done but excellently done in a very professional way. He also has a wonderful attitude and a good sense of humor. On top of that I felt he and his son were very nice individuals. Thanks to both of you, Jerry!!!

Plumber apologized for being unable to get to my job for about 30 hours after my call. I asked about using CPVC instead of copper for this section since this is where the chlorinator injection is located and this is the second time in 15 years this same tee has rotted out. He agreed that it would probably make sense and was willing to run to Lowes (about 3 miles away) to get the part to do that. Repairs were completed fairly quickly after that.

I am very happy with the entire experience. Jim was very informative and told me everything that was going on with the furnace problem. I as so impressed that he knew quickly what was wrong and how to fix it, and mostly how to avoid the same thing happening in the futre. I love the new bathroom fixture and it's great to not have that constant drip, drip, drip.

We have used him several times in the past and everything went well. Arrived on time and had all the parts needed to complete the job in his truck. The kit that came with the Disposal didn't have everything needed to hook up to the plumbing in our existing sink. Job Well Done.

Mr. Laux was competent and professional. He told me that it looked like someone unsuccessfully attempted to adjust the inside components of the toilet (My husband who is not especially handy) and that he could either readjust everything for $75or replace the parts for $125. However, he said we would likely still have a slow leak if he just did the adjustment. I asked him to replace the parts. he also provided a 90dayguarantee of his work.

This is the second time we used Laux Plumbing with excellent results.

Jerry was great to work with. He was prompt and very willing to provide advice to someone like me who likes to try to do some of the work on their own. I installed the new faucets in my master bath, but I know my limits! I just needed Jerry to move the pvc trap because the new sink was not exactly located where the old sink was. Jerry also repaired the shower in the basement which was missing a temperature limiter. He was able to find the small piece thru a plumbing supply store that was evidently not installed by another plumber when the shower was installed a couple of years ago. He saved me from having to buy a complete faucet. I will call Jerry for any future plumbing needs. He shows up as scheduled and prices his work very reasonably.

Overall - Our 2 experiences with Jerry and his company - Laux Plumbing LLC were excellent. We've had several plumbers out for various reasons throughout the years - we'll be calling Jerry from now on.

None of the services was an emergency. I called for service on 7-6-10 and made an appointment for 7-8-10. On 7/8/10, owner Jerry Laux called about an hour before the appointment time and asked if he could come early. I agreed and he arrived about 15 minutes later. He worked hard for about three hours to complete the above jobs. I consider the total cost of $360.00 to be very reasonable. Jerry said that he does not charge book rates for multiple jobs without a discount like some plumbers do (which can get to be very expensive). He also prefers that the homeowner furnish bathroom faucets. While Jerry was working on the sump pump pipe and outside faucets, I purchased a lavatory faucet at a local store. This is awesome. A few years a ago, I had a shower faucet replaced by another plumber who claimed the only faucet on his truck was one of the most expensive ones you could buy.
