I checked the dimensions against the room size, and realized the piece was going to be too deep. I called the store the next day and asked them to cancel the order, and I would buy something less deep. The original person was not in, so I spoke to the store manager, Susie. She raised objection to canceling, and I explained I could not hold that item in my room. She called the factory and was able to stop the order, but the 50% deposit was still charged to my credit card. She said I could use the deposit toward another piece, but I didn't find anything else that I wanted. They however, don't have my signature on their customer information form that I missed from the fax. The form states that cancellation after 72 hours is subject to 25% fee, but they currently have 50% of the total amount and will only put it towards another piece. With my repeated calling, the store manager finally agreed to credit my visa for the 50% deposit they had charged.
