I gave them a down payment but there is some question about my contract price increasing because of a question of areas of vendor responsibility resulting in some proposed changes so I am investigating.

Thomas Edger who is a principal of Patio Enclosures Inc. was our contact. The damage to the old patio enclosure occurred during several huge snow storms experienced in 2009 in this part of the country. Unfortunately, we were in the process of buying the house and the snow storms occurred while we were under contract for the purchase. When we decided to buy the house, one of the main selling points was the enclosed patio overlooking the golf course, so we were devastated when we found out it was damaged beyond repair. Tom Edger was very sympathetic to our plight and made sure the new enclosure was delivered and installed within budget and on time. His service and accessibility before, during and after the new enclosure was installed were way beyond professional courtesy. Our new enclosure is leak free and we love the versatility of having big glass sliding windows as well as screens. The enclosure itself is excellent quality and the service provided by Patio Enclosures Inc was superb. We would definitely recommend the Company and especially Tom Edger to anyone wanting to have an enclosed outdoor space added to their home.

Construction was delayed due to all the rain last summer. When they did start, they worked daily till the job was done. Wood posts to support the sunroom had some pretty deep cracks, which they did replace after a few conversations.. Sunroom was as expected, except for the noise level when it rains and hits the roof. We did have to have them out a few times, windows were out of alignment and did not open or did not lock.

It went fine. The screens looked very nice. However, they installed screens that could be replaced with glass which I disliked because they did not ask me if this was acceptable.

I chose them because they have a very good reputation and I also checked about them online. So, everything went okay. I had got a quote from them over a year ago and it was little high at that time. I tried them again in this year, as I knew that many contractors were having trouble in getting business and so, they had dropped their prices. The people that came out to get the work done were responsive, as they pretty much got back to me right away. However, I had hired them back in July and they had to get the approval through with the city which took a while. So, I hadn't heard from them and decided to call them to find out as to what was going on. They were punctual, as they did show up when they said that they were going to be there. If need be, then I would use their services in the future too.

There's not enough time or space on here for all the problems we encountered. To start, their salesman was great and reeled us in. Once the job started, the fun began. We had 3 leaks into our home from the dormer they built. We had put in a new kitchen floor while that construction was being done. One of the leaks ruined our new floor. Their company had to pay and redo our kitchen floors. Then there were all the little things such as, their workers did not come on Fridays, their workers were always on their cell phones, they broke one panel of glass, they put in scratch doors, left all the glass dirty, left materials in our yard, and the leaks. We had 5 leaks in the sunroom during completion and after. The entire job was supposed to take 3 weeks. It took 3 months. I'm completely dissatisfied even after talking to many people in the company. We do not feel we got what we paid for. To satisfy me, they would need to remove the sunroom and return my money. Forgot to mention, in their sales pitch they will not tell you that the room temperature can and will get to 102 degrees in the summer. They will just consistently tell you how well their glass repels heat. But they will tell you get an AC unit, fans and shades that cost about $10,000 more. And that doesn't even conquer the heat issue.

The people who lived in the house before me had added the sun room. The free standing planter, which was already there, was incorporated into the design. It was now crumbling and something had to be done. I chose to replace the planter and window with a door that would match the other glass sliding doors. The workman who did the measuring before the order went in and the men who put the door in did a good job. I am pleased with the result. The salesman arrived when he said he would, but I found his behavior a bit obnoxious.

Got an estimate ($21,900) for a year-round sunroom, approx size 10' x 11' consisting of two walls connecting to two existing walls of house. The sales rep was very courteous and helpful and wrote up a quote and a very small layout drawing. I wasn't clear on how it would actually look in real life however, no drawings or renderings were provided and I thought the price was quite high for a small room with essentially two walls. They fit their existing products to your house, so it's not a custom built structure. I did not like how the roof would tie in to the rest of the house. I don't think the estimate included any type of heating, no mention was made regarding electrical.

I would not use the subcontractors again. They were supposed to put it on last summer but they did it this summer. The quality of the product was great. Their company was not good. The subcontractor was an electrician that I would never use again or recommend to anyone.

I was very pleased with them. There were a couple of scheduling problems, and they had to call to delay, as some materials had not come in, but that was really not their fault. They did call before the scheduled time to say that they would not be there. I am satisfied with how everything looks. It was a quality job.

Patio Enclosures Inc., had a very competitive price. We're very happy with the quality of the sunroom. When they started, the first crew was very enthusiastic and gung-ho. As the job went on, the time spent here started declining. They would come from 9:30 to 3:00 with an hour lunch. A job that should have taken 4 days, took 8.

Jim Burger was in charge of the job and he was on site and wonderful to work with. They were a really nice company to deal with. It did take a little while to get everything ordered because it was going to match my house, but they did work efficiently. And it was not their fault because it had to be ordered. I would definitely use the company again. The patio is beautiful and I as completely satisfied with everything that they did for me.
