Great! The staff is wonderful! They were crucial in the diagnoses of this disease. They’ve been very understanding. I had many questions and every one was answered whenever I called or popped in. They understand that I’m an “over the top dog mom”!! This type care is life sustaining and very expensive anywhere you go. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my babies!

Called today to request 1 dose of oral flea medication (Comfortis) and was told by receptionist they would have it ready for me to pickup in the afternoon. Went to pickup and was told since I had not had a full price paid visit since late 2015 they would not dispense the 19 dollar single dose. Look I get it from a risk perspective if this is your policy in situations like prescribing a strong medication such as antibiotics without a recent checkup but cmon Sheffield this is a low-risk common remedy for fleas. Given our dog is a "special needs" bulldog who since 2015 has been regularly seen at Central Ohio's best vet for bulldogs (Beechwold in Columbus) I would have hoped my simple request today could have been worked out by calling them to ensure his medical status as being current. Bottom line sad that my home community vet who I have given business in the past wouldn't provide what I needed and wasted my time to boot by not advising me of their policy on the phone vs what I was told making a physical trip to their office. I see today's scenario, not as risk aversion to my pet but a maximization of profit and poor customer service. Local pet owners beware if you want to get simple ad-hoc services & have not paid the annual tithe.

They were very good. They are excellent but they are pricey.

I have been taking my pets to Sheffield for years and I love them. They have taken excellent care of all of our dogs and cats and I recommend them to all my friends and family. They actually care about the animals as well as the animals family.
Sadly, they had to give the grim diagnosis of cancer and a very short time left for any quality of life for my dog Lola. Dr. Marshall was genuinely upset about the health of Lola, as though she were his own. He gave her a course of steroids to hopefully give us a week or two so that we can say our goodbyes.
Having experienced a similar event with another dog, I know that Sheffield will ensure that Lola is comfortable and show extreme respect for her as we let her pass.

We discussed the procedure thoroughly at her last immunization appointment. He put my mind at ease concerning the declaw even though I was apprehensive. The surgery went well; he called me personally after the procedures to let me know how things went, and when I called in to check on her the next morning, he got on the phone right away and updated me on her progress. He was informative, thorough, and very caring. I will definitely be taking my Carmie back to Dr. Marshall.

We had been to a previous vet and they had charged us an exorbitant amount of money. He had quoted one price for a procedure but it doubled when I came to pick the dog up and they were no complication. I called them through a referral of my neighbor and she said that they took the sutchers out of no charge. I was quoted between $1100 to $1300 but the Sheffield Veterinary Clinic charged me only $200. So I got tic medicine for him and mouth wash for cleaning his teeth and it was all under $500. They were wonderful. They took their time and explained things. I just thought their price was fair. I hadn't had a dog in years so I didn't know what the cost was. But I knew to clean somebody's teeth for $1300 was probably not right. I thought they were very professional. I could go in and they had a lot of veterinarians there and they had a lot of availability for time. I was really pleased.
